You need to consider as those who works for the project are also part of the advertisement, there's an allocated budget to pay them if the team will not provide the designated allocation there's a chance that the team will also not provide the investors what they've been promised or simply it will reflect that the team behind are greedy and there's no real progress to expect with the project.

It will be a loss for the real investors once the developer will not do anything and will just collect all those money and runaway.

Yeah this is definitely true. I just recently had an event where a project from which i hold the tokens longer than 1 year already was hacked and had to deploy a new contract to make a new token. That project was poolz. Given the fact that i had this tokens only on my wallet and not staked anywhere or locked anywhere i think i would have gotten the new tokens as an airdrop anyway, but if not then i would have lost more than 1000$.

For Twitter, if in one day or two days there is a recent update on the plan for when the AMA will be held and whose partnership they are working with, we can conclude that the project is worth participating in. because they also work for the development of the success of the project going forward.
