Would you donate in a casino?

Even though many countries have reopened borders and people are getting back to work in the offices, the complicated time isn’t over yet and the risk is still high.
There are several organizations where you can make your efforts by donating.
We here at Bitcasino have teamed up with some of the charity giants and in collaboration have run loyalty points donation campaign and charity poker tournaments.

So my question here is, if you are a person who is willing to donate, what choice would you rather use:

• Participate in special charity programs or
• Have a permanent possibility to donate straight on the casino site?

I prefer donating directly to the organisations near me, or going to the websites of reputed organisations like Red Cross and directly donating there. Furthermore most of the reputed casinos prefer donating directly without involving their users, but if you would like to accept donations on your casino, then I hope that you’ll come up with a transparent plan about how the funds will be used, and how can your users verify where their funds were spent.

Not literally donating my money but the fact that I am losing a lot of money in a casino, I just think I have donated that money so I would be able to easily accept my loses. I think since casino are so profitable, they should make the donation coming from our loses, so the more we support a casino, the more we can help those who are in need if a casino has a charity program.

It depends, primarily, on the casino's reputation and whether it has been involved in such charitable activities in the past.
Personally, I prefer to donate directly to people in need without the help of a third party, but if I had to choose between the two mentioned options, then، frankly, I won't choose casinos unless they provide as many guarantees as possible such as forming a full-time committee dedicated to this particular task and, of course,  to donate part of their profits in a transparent way.

I rather donate to some non-profit organization that specializes in such charity programs rather than the casino.
And especially I believe that most of the casinos got too much money, that's why I don't see many casinos offering or accepting some donations for some people.
Well, if a casino has a good intention, there's nothing wrong at all then, as long as the money will go to the poor or anyone that is needed the most.

No offense, but I would go directly to a special charity program rather than go straight on a casino site.

Casino is a big company and have profited too much money already, they themselves can donate to the tune of millions of dollars, no need for them to have a charity to get some money. I know the their reasons is good from behind, no doubt about it. But logically speaking, they can do it without the help of outsider, just saying.

But for me, instead of donating to a casino, I would rather help those individuals or families near me that badly needs financial assistance. I will not go far from where I reside or check my relatives also because with that, I know for sure where my money will go.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I think stake.com also has a charity program but I believe some other casinos do has this kind of program too.
However, I think for a business like a casino, it would be helpful for the industry if they will publicly announce a charitable program, at least haters would see that casinos are also here to contribute to the society, not only enticing gamblers to provide them entertainment.

I'd rather start it with people around me, my family of course, that would be my first priority, then the neighborhood.
Those who donate in a certain program through a charitable institution, I think they have a lot of money and they can donate a decent amount.

We cant deny that some countries are started to go back on its normal routine but the risk of contracting covid still high, as much as I wanted to continue the lock down, there are certain needs to sacrifice in order to live. Yes continously doing locked down could narrow the case but, people are losing funds for support on their needs. So everybody has their own take with it.

Hello, why is the choice of donation goes to casino? I cant grasp the logic with it. If given the chance to donate of course my pick will be for those charity programs. Just hoping those non profit oeganization can barely do the distribution for those who are really in need.

what do you mean by donate straight to casino  ? contact thier support and owner and send money to them or donate the other way around like depositing and playing the gambling for fun but not in a way to make a profit  ?  id rather donate on charity or i can also donate by my self like going on streets and handing out food for the street people   . there are casino that have done donations using thier own income but they dont ask thier members for donations which is also nice to see   .

I prefer to go directly tot he organization ,not that I don't trust in the casino, but it's just my preference to donate directly to those who badly need need and take away the third part, but it's good to read that a lot of casinos are doing fund raising to donate to charitable instituion at this time of pandemic.

I agree with you, and I also think most of us will choose to donate directly to an organization. Not because I don't trust casinos, but I think it will just take more time and process unlike making direct donations. It's also easier to look for organizations and charity that accepts donation since there are more programs like than looking for a casino that also accepts the donation. Although your intention is to donate to help other people, you should also make sure that the money you will donate, will be given to the right hands.

But if I'm gambling then happens to see the site that they also offer a donation, then maybe I can donate using that platform. But if my only intention is to donate, then directly choosing a charity is easier.

Donating via casino is still a good choice for someone who wants to donate small amount because they may not take much effort for donating few dollars but for someone who wanted to donate with such a huge amount will go for the straight way like organizations or even by themselves so they get more fame via this.

Actually I'm not so sure. I try to avoid third parties when giving a donation, I prefere to give directly to organization or induvidual person that collects donations.
It's not that I assume there will be some misuse but in direct contact it could definetely be avoided so I probably wouldn't choose donation through casino.

After seeing how the money was misused in some local charity campaigns a long time ago, I decided not to give the money to anyone anymore but to rather use the money to stock up some food/toys and personally hand them out to those in need. What makes it even better is the feeling you have when you see their smile. Makes your day every time.

It's always welcome though to have charities around on different services and platforms for those who want to give away some money. This is just a thing I personally prefer doing.

Why not if there is available funds more than willing to donate, but unfortunately because my country is one of the hardest hit by the pandemic I have to take care of my love one first, in fact I am also getting support from the government, but it's good that a casino is creating a fund drive for victims of this pandemic.

I would, but with a limited extra money I prefer to just contribute to local efforts. It would be easier to donate to a casino based overseas and be able to help people from far away if only my own neighbors and relatives are not in the same hard situation. Right now, I myself am not having the best of times. Perhaps those who are well off despite this crisis will contribute an amount. This is a perfect time to help one another.

I guess we all do it whenever we lose we just donate the rest of our money by going all in I would love to donate to a casino back if I win big because even though the win is because of my luck but the casino existed which made me win and this it also has a hand behind the big win!

Casinos are already rich, they can manage to implement charity by their own money.
They're earning a lot of money per day especially when they re-opened their establishments, a lot of people will go to the casino and play gambling.

So I guess it's better to donate to some organization that's true purpose is to help other people especially on this kind of crisis.

If it's a responsible casino with good and safe betting games, why not. Will never donate to casino that promotes bad and unsafe bettings. The games/bettings will need to be beneficial to the players (alternatively, it should be consistently producing many winners) , it must not be violent/bad, it should be safe, etc
