The first thing to know is that for all investments that have very risks, it is just a matter of how to mitigate those risks properly with a accurate analysis so that there is no huge loss. in a situation like now it is not advisable to invest in new altcoin, although it may be very tempting, it is better to stay on the top altcoin that already exists in the market. I am more inclined to you the best for investment of course on bitcoin, does not mean that altcoin is not good, ethereum, BNB, XRP, NEO are also very good.

These tokens are already on top now so very less chances of making good profit and it is always better to find the tokens that are about to rise in value as they can give you immense profit if you are lucky enough to find them.
Also for the OP, as you have lost big time in following other's advice, you should never follow what others say blindly and should always do your own research as what athers suggest have worked out for them, maybe it won't work out for you my man.

That youTuber still influenced his decision making him panic buy. As a newbie, I can't blame him because I've been there since I was new to this crypto world too. I get FOMOed and lose too much bitcoin that I can't even count how much I lose.

To the newbies out there, don't believe those youtubers or any person asking you to buy this coin because it will go up. There are just hyping the price waiting for them to sell their holdings. As many have always said DYOR.

 Don't rely your investment to others even in youtube. Also always remember the crypto sayings,invest only the amount that you can afford to lose so that you will not regret if ever you face some loses in investing. Also panic selling is always the way to loses so be a risky investors which not afraid on the downtrend of the crypto market. Lol if you invest in Bitcoin at middle of 2017 who says that is the bigger mistake?the price climb up to 20k so if you Bought at 10k in 3rd quarter surely in 4th quarter you already earn double before December ends.
And Bitcoin never been a bad investment it only depends on our capacity how to maintain and manage our investing.

Before trading you must analysis the project and study about chart, project and team etc.Because if this things are good and strong then there is a great chance that project will be successful.

People often think that youtubers are great analysis thats why they blindly believe them and but the consequences of this investment affects only you not youtubers.

It is really sad and I think it is better if we will not do the same mistakes that he did. What I mean is we should not rely our decisions of others opinions. There are a lot of fake gurus out there that can lead us to do huge mistakes. It is really better if we are the one who will decide but make sure that we have enough foundation about the investment that we are doing or about thr coins that we holding. We can take profit in the right moment if we habe basic knowledge for sure.

I understand how you feel, because I’ve felt the same way before when I made a bad decision in an opportunity where I lost some tokens too. However, we should learn to move on after losing a certain amount of money from those opportunities that aren’t promising at all.

On a brighter note, we’ve learned our lessons and make us better in decision-making if these kinds of unpromising opportunities are gonna knock through our doors again.

I have to be honest with you man. Way back before I’m getting serious in cryptocurrencies, I’ve already lost a lot of money because of careless decisions such as bank phishing scams, etc. My heart went drowning and it’s hard for me to accept that mistake. However, we can’t change the past anymore. Let’s just move on and focus in getting better of our lives, especially the decisions we have to succeed in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.

It's very pity, but now you are smarter and want to learn others. If you listen Youtubers, than you should ask advice to another neat traders and decide. You may ask and read information also on different forums.

We can listen to YouTuber but we must not follow what they are saying just like that because if we does then expect losses from time to time.

There are so many ways to learn and earn here but first let us not becoming fool and stupid to just Buy everything people advises us.

The major problem is that people do not learn them self or do not want to do their own research and based on someone's video and any recommendation they blindly follow them. It is good to take advice and help to wider your horizon but one should be able to take a call by themselves and make their decision as in near future this will become experience and one would be self-reliant and will be able to buy/sell by them self.

It's good that you shared this. It is part of the process of accepting and letting go of that mistake. Don't waste time thinking about the mistake. Just learn your lesson and move on. Remember that there are no free "pies" in this world. Always ask yourself - if I make 10%/day how comes that not all the people do it? Are you special (worked hard or have extensive knowledge on a subject) or is there something fishy in the middle?

In this case I will not inculpate the YouTuber completely. Because they had provide some informations about Eth bull and bear token which is interesting and should be known by all. I think he also said that here is a high risk to invest bull and bear token. So my opinion is that before investment you should go through technical analysis to be sure about ETH price in future.
Or you must use stop loss as you are investing in leveraged token but you didn't do that. So practically you were unconscious about your investments.

So I will tell all others here not to be a gambler in Crypto trading. Always do proper analysis and make sure about your investments and always use stop loss to keep your funds safe if market crashes suddenly.
