Short answer is you don't get anything good with what CoinIdol is posting here in the press section. He basically just promote their website and the account itself doesn't engage in any kind of interaction with the people who post in his thread. I guess the deletion of their threads are in relation to that where CoinIdol's only purpose to post here in the forum is to promote their websites and not to contribute anything here in the forum, I mean all of their news are shit anyways that contain misleading headlines and recycled news and to top it all a thumbnail that will give you a good cringe.

Looks like all their posts have been wiped. Not seeing anything in the modlog which is odd.
When did you see their posts? Close to when you posted or a while before?
Either way the report to moderator seems to be workng.

When he was tempbanned the first time, he had his 20 or so posts which weren't yet deleted nuked. When he was tempbanned the second time (most recently) he only had 2 or 3 posts still up, and they were nuked too. This was a few weeks ago though, so those actions would have been cleared from modlog by now.

Reporting his posts works just fine - he's had 100% of his posts deleted, 88/88 according to BPIP. What isn't working is the refusal to ban him. All his posts are the same copy and paste trash. All his posts are deleted. He's been tempbanned twice and his behavior continues unchanged. He contributes nothing of meaning to the forum, and simply abuses it as free advertising for his clickbait "news" site. I say "his", but it is quite clearly a bot. It's a complete waste of reporters' time and moderators' time.

I don't understand why he (and others) are allowed to continue turning the Press board in to their own personal advertising board.

I've got 14 good reports against him in the last two weeks.

BPIP now tells me he is up to 113 out of 113 posts deleted.

I also reported it a couple of times last week. Even though I said I'd stop reporting it in my original post, I couldn't resist doing it.
It irritates me as soon as I see the username, and worse when I read the title. I think if I started to read the post I could start to convulse.

By the way, it's a pity a moderator didn't comment on this topic, always pleasant to be ignored. They could have said a few words, even if it's just to tell me to fuck you.

I know but I don't know what to think. Maybe they could argue saying this is subjective. If the user posted in "Speculation" (since he posts topics about trading/speculation lately), I'm not sure the mods would have deleted the threads.

Many people post uninteresting, low value threads but they do it in the correct place so it could be hardly applied without to be called dictator

Although there are no official rules, I'd say this falls under advertising:

That's what @CoinIdolNews does. You'll never see him in a discussion with us. He just comes in to create threads.

Otherwise, It would also mean a blogger couldn't use the Press section to share news from his/her site. In this case there are a lof of others posts that should be deleted (i.e. @CoinClarity or @S3cco lately with +50 pages of "my news article + link")

As I said if he posted in the correct boards probably the threads wouldn't be deleted.

The funny thing is that last month they opened a topic (in which you posted in yesterday) to ask why the account was banned and if it was possible to restore it.
Apparently despite the discussion, it didn't help them at all...  and people wasted their time trying to explain

For whatever reason they are not getting a perma-ban. As has been pointed out it's probably a bot just sitting out there running.
So, get banned, bot keeps trying to post, get un-banned bot posts and keeps posting till next ban. @CoinIdolNews obviously does not care. Account is not nuked / perma banned so it's a win for @CoinIdolNews

LOL, I think moderator that constantly deleting post of that guy had some fun of him. Yeah temp ban for spamming will do but if the user/bot really wanted to spam then no way can stop him like he will just create another account if he has been temp ban and then start again with his bussiness.

Let that guy whatever he wanted to. Just tag him with red trust so that no one will going to believe in him.

But this, all of the posts? CoinIdol News has no posts right now, but it is still active, last active is by Today at 01:58:03 PM.

Loooool well this truly means to have some guts! I bow down and take my hat off in front of such courage I wonder how Nina Lyon will explain that. How will explain that CoinIdol News is not a bot but a human being.

I believe now things are clear for everybody: that account is indeed a bot, which tried all the time to keep posting, but it was unable to. And in the very second when it was able to post again (when the temp-ban expired), it did what its code told it to do: to keep spamming the Press board.

The bot spammed immediately with 2 posts after the temp-ban expired and I reported both of them. They were deleted within a few hours by the mods. Yesterday it made another post, which I also reported and which was also deleted fast by mods. However, I don't understand why the account is not perma-banned now, as it repeats the same offense. In my motivation for the reports I wrote something like "Keeps shilling the same website. Mods please perma-ban the account as it repeats the same offense for which it was temp-banned".
