The biggest reason why projects fail is the fact that either the team or the community has too much of it and someone eventually sells it. You have to give people a reason to buy it, the reason could be "buy it because it is going up" but you have to make them believe it, normally that is NEVER a reason to make them buy it, there is a great "what if it doesn't?" respond to it and you will have hard time finding a way to explain why it wouldn't.

So, I would say find a reason why people should buy it and do not make it something simple, make it something crucial for the coin/token, that way people will keep on buying constantly and the price will go up. The biggest example is BNB, people buy it because with it you will pay less fee's on binance, the biggest exchange on the world, so it is always smart to buy it because either you will use it for less fee or you just invest and wait for others to use it while price goes up and sell.

even though he just came to crypto but at least he has a real product and some teams that have experience in crypto will make it easy to sell tokens. but if he does not have a product he should not waste time doing ICO because 99% will definitely fail.

To me, a brilliant way to have a successfuly ico is to avoid it totally, ico as a means of crowdfunding in the year 2020 is a no no, and it won't bring any investors or project capital. As a new project, i suggest you find and attract private investors first; then have a private seed. Then you can proceed next by hodling an ieo event in a reputable exchange platform.

A successful ICO for me is not about the sales. Because there are many ICO that sold their tokens at full but suddenly becomes a shit when they are hitting the exchange. Usually, they become scam ICO since they only want is profits. A successful has a serious developer and lots of partnership. They want to grow their community better for everyday. They won`t settle in one exchange but promote it to the entire community. They have the working MVP, and when I saw it. i definitely buy more and save it for a long term investment.

First and foremost, you and the team should have to be consistent and transparent about your project. Things that are very important for investors will never give doubts about the project and could possibly gain trust from them (which is very important in the case today). Isn't matter how big is your project but the most important is you run legally and that the community will gain benefits from it not only your team and the creator of this ICO.

I think the question on OP has already got the answer. ICO isn't the best choice anymore for fundraising. Investors don't trust ICOs because of too many negative issues on ICOs. There is a high risk to fail reaching the softcap if you keep providing an ICO for your project. You are better to think about providing an IEO on top exchange. If you have no enough funds to provide in Binance, try to other top exchanges. There are many top and reputable exchanges that deserve to be the options.

First of all, several individuals in this forum have been scammed through ICOs so i would advice you really show this community of your commitment towards developing this project to a standard where you can equally come up with an MVP then later you can ask for an ICO or IEO. Right, I think OP has got the right answer from us, many of us advise the OP not to do ICO because investors no longer trust ICO anymore, I agree with your suggestion, it's better to collect much funds as possible to make IEO on large Exchange like Binance, Kucoin or Okex. I am sure their project will be successful.

The first thing to get IEO at these exchanges is that the project has to have a large budget to be launched, and there will definitely be a lot of checking processes. I think, should join IEO at exchanges like Huobi, Okex and Binance because these are the three safest exchanges for investors because so far, no projects have failed to get listed here. However, to get a ticket to participate will depend a lot on your luck.

Not quite about luck! To have a ticket to participate on those Exchanges, first of all, you have to present a clear plan of your project. Next, you have to develop and show others your project's strengths to attract investors and participants. In order to be listed as IEO on those Exchanges platform, they'll follow you along for a while to make sure your team is actually working on the project before bring you in!

Yes, I think there are lots of things that you're going to do to ensure that you're heading the right way with launching your ICO. And I believe that if you take time to do some research and read about the experience of those that have tried launching an ICO you will be able to understand how they were able to do it.

For me I think the things that really matters; first I will be starting with having the right team: you need to have a strong team, if possible, one that has already had the experience, and skilled. And the next thing you should be considering is the location you're launching it. The location matters too, that's why I said you should do some research to understand everything about ICO and how it works. This is not something that anyone will really have the time to be explaining in the comments. There are already contents online that are dedicated to explaining all these things.

ICO way back 2017 became trending by that time, and no doubt that there are lot of bounty hunters earned big during that period of time.
But I cannot say if that will work at the moment. Because, We all know that IEO is much more trusted than ICO so far. We saw its advantages compared to ICO. But I am not saying that you or we cannot able to earn in the ICO of course not, probably its hard to seek the legit ico at the present time now.
