As long as it's compatible - pinout, signals, physical size etc it should be fine. The 1200W rating is the maximum power it'll output, not a fixed requirement that will blow up your miner with too much juice.

Cool, quiet and up to 1TH pod miner, on sale now!

Yup. If you're in doubt about compatibility past the gold finger pinout you can set the miner to use a 'generic PSU' so it won't try and talk to it.

Hiddencow its do able I have two connected to my ISP modem, if you connected them a Comcast modem you may not be able to just plug and play. If they are plugged in to the modem, SP10 is powered on then type its IP address in your browser 192.168.7.xxx should connect you, if it asks for the username//password your done if not than you'll have to do what I did. First have another router connect everything up to it, access the router 192.168.1.1 change its IP address to 192.168.7.1 , once complete the SP10's should be accessible by typing their IP address in your browser 192.168.7.xxx, once you access the Dawson manager go into setting and change the network setup to DHCP. This will allow the IP address to auto address on your main network ie 10.0.0.x

Hope this helps a little

I know this thread is probably long dead... but hoping someone here has access to the latest firmware download for the SP10.

Bricked mine, managed to restore it with recovery and boot images, but its firmware is reset all the way back to 1.3 and there are stability issues with keeping cgminer running.  Hoping someone has the 1.5 fw img somewhere it can be shared.

I gave you a merit for a proper attempt to use an old thread.

Good luck.
