ethereum is a very valuable altcoin, i hold ethereum for a long time.
not only hold it but i also trade it to increase the amount of eth in my wallet.

for me ethereum is a coin that must be in a wallet aside from bitcoin.

I am big time follower of ethereum from initial days i was holding ethereum even the price less than 100$ and also i was holding ethereum at the price of 1500$ . But based on recent development i am highly speculative ethereum price after 2.0  release . Once POS introduced the problem of scalability will be solved  Maximum supply will be fixed . So i am slowly investing on ethereum from my savings part by part reasons are below
1) Inflation in global curreny or fiat curreny ( ehtereum and bitcoin is best alternative invetment solution )

3) Real world use case

because what I found on two different sites, the price changes on Ethereum do exist, but not up to 100% as you say, here I will give Ethereum price charts from a few years ago to the present.

For me, Ethereum is also a good cryptocurrency investment, and it is also part of my portfolio but not in a big portion. We have seen the slow increase in the price of Ethereum and it seems it's striving to go back to its ATH price in the market which is around 1400$. Many of us are now waiting on their big update and I know it can somehow change the price of Ethereum on the market. I'm totally sure that Ethereum will really become part of the best cryptocurrency for this year 2020.

Indeed. No one can replace bitcoin as the top one cryptocurrency in the market. Indeed the crypto space has come to stay and as such have a big role to play in every aspect of human endeavours, however talking about the future of the crypto space, not all coins will be part of it and as the case may be, Ethereum is one of few that will play a vital role in the progression of the crypto space. And price of Bitcoin also pumped almost 300% from the very lowest point of 2020 but yeah the point is, the strong coins will always survive, just as BTC and ETH have shown us,,, but best crypto of 2020 in terms of what?
