ETH could be considered as investment, and i think that after ETH2.0 it would be considered as investment by more people, due to the fact that stacking will bring benefits to holders, and many will consider that as good investment
there are lot of coins that could be good investment, but ETH yield lowest risk, although that risk is still substantial, and one should always do analysis and think twice before investment in crypto, ETH as well

I am big time follower of ethereum from initial days i was holding ethereum even the price less than 100$ and also i was holding ethereum at the price of 1500$ . But based on recent development i am highly speculative ethereum price after 2.0  release . Once POS introduced the problem of scalability will be solved  Maximum supply will be fixed . So i am slowly investing on ethereum from my savings part by part reasons are below
1) Inflation in global curreny or fiat curreny ( ehtereum and bitcoin is best alternative invetment solution )
2) Ethereum is the best Smart contract creation platform holding major DAPP's in market
3) Real world use case

i believe ethereum price will spike up when eth 2.0 release
and maybe eth is the best altcoins to invest now, because a lot of good things will coming to eth

When I first got into crypto, that's my general sentiment too about ETH. But when ETH's value went down hard, my support came crashing the same path as well. If you believe Bitcoin as a good investment for the future, you can also think that Ethereum will do the same. Have them both with you are confidently making profits later. i'm a holder ethereum and i believe ethereum can touch the new ATH in in few year again, but one think make me afraid is Ethereum supply is Unlimited so there is if not any demand in market because too many Ethereum are mined can make the price undervalued

Only in the next 1.5 years, Ethereum will touch the next top price. In the next update this problem will be minimized. Ethereum supply is the biggest problem to price fall, the next plan is from POW to POS. Bitcoin and Ethereum pairs price fell for Ethereum supply. This correction is over, now next is the time for pump after Ethereum 2.0. I can't see any upcoming good news without the second Ethereum.

have they not told you about the% of what they got from holding etherium? I hope they have a good strategy so that the price of etherium returns to the price of 2017, I also still collect etherium little by little for my savings

As far as I'm concerned, the only two cryptocurrency that are worth holding for the long term future are bitcoin and ethereum. Ethereum has a real use case and that explains why it's volume and liquidity is on rise daily. I learnt that over 3 million wallets hold above.0.1 ethereum, this simply implies that more people are joining the ethereum blockchain and this would have a glorious impact in the nearest future.

It's not clear about how much people that have already sent their ethereum as a preparation for the upcoming event. This time ether has been getting a small bullish trend. $400 looks impossible to be achieved because it's not about when ether gets an pdate and it will be pumped and it's not like that.

I think there is still a possibility of people who can decode an encrypted code in such a way because I see some people have cracked the code like that so just need to be careful and don't give up trying to be able to penetrate the private key....

ETH is really the best choice for long term investment that is why it is just the second cryptocurrency. l believe that as you above mentioned after launched ETH2.0 the price of ETH will rise up either, there will be a great effect on ETH by this update.
