How to go about this forum

Good day everyone, I know little about bitcoin and I know there are other coins too and during my researches online, I read about this forum from three sites, so that drew my attention to want to know about this site, I am just a beginner and know nothing about here, can you people tell me what this forum is all about, I only know it is about bitcoin but I do not know anything more than that.

That said, this are my questions
1. What is the purpose of this forum?
2. What is legendary? I saw a pinned post and beside it is written legendary.
3. What are the coins under the legendary stand for?
4. What is activity?
5. What is merit?

Do not be offended if my questions look stupid, I just want to be cleared about how this forum works.

That said, I am a crypto trader, I have few advice for that can help our trading life.

1. When I started trading, I thought it was easy and just buy and sell without analyses. Analyses is a requisite to a successful trading. You will need to analyse the coin you want to use to trade, also you need to analyze the current situation of the crypto market.

2. If you want to hold, you need to have knowledge about trading too so you can buy when the market is favorable. I have a friend that bought bit coin at $17000 in few years back, we both knew nothing about holding but the high price lured him to invest, the coin grew to $20000 but later went down to $12000. He lost money and he has to convert the bitcoin back to fiat. But had it been we knew about trading, he will not fall into such trap. It is not good to trade at the top market.

3. For both traders and investors, it is good to be patient, do not just invest because the price of bit coin has risen, be patient, let the coin lower in price before investing.

4. Holders learn trading not because they want to trade, but because they want to hold so they can hold at the right time when price will later rise but not fall.

5. Using indicators to trade can be helpful but they can also go the other way. A good indicator I like using is Relative Strenght Index.

6. While trading, you need to trade with good mind and  right sense, be patient, not greedy and be disciplined.

7. Do not trade because other are doing it, trade because you learned about it.

8. Do not believe in bots and signals. Learn, have knowledge and this will lead to experience of how to analyse and predict the market.


That said, in 2019, I was scammed, not that crypto is dangerous but because I only have little knowledge about it. Let us know ways to avoid scammers and also hackers. We should be careful with our wallets, use trusthworthy exchanges, and avoid fake sites and emails. This link will be helpful,

This forum purpose is to dessiminate and discuss anything about bitcoin and altcoin too. Legendary is the highest rank of an hierachy here, where you will achieved once you are familiar with this forum which includes joining discussion and imparting knowledge with different users.

1. The purpose of this forum is to gather and exchange a lot of ideas that can help other people with their questions related to the world of cryptocurrency and especially the bitcoin. Also, you can see a lot of projects and campaign here which is promoting their platform. All of the people here are giving, contributing, and have rules to make sure the cleanliness of the forum.

2. Brand new, newbie, Jr. Member, member, Sr. Member, Hero, and Legendary those are the ranks that you can get only with a specific number of merits and activities. Also we have the copper member a rank that even you are a brand new up to jr. member you can be treat as a member rank. If you want to avail Purchase copper membership

3. Coins are the reflection of the rank if you have a
Brand new to jr member you have a single coin
Member : 2 coins
Full member : 3 coins
Sr member : 4 coins
Hero : 5 coins
Legendary : 5 coins with a color of dark blue

How is forum activity calculated?
Activity is calculated with the following formula:

Activity is increased by posting and is updated every hour; however, the updated number of activity points will be reflected at your profile at the end of the current activity period. As a note, in case you have latent activity points from earlier periods (meaning activity periods where you didn't post daily: in this case, the days when you did not post become latent activity points), these ones will be updated on your profile after 1 hour. You can gain a maximum of 14 activity points every 2 weeks.

5.  Merits are given to the people who contributes a lot to the forum, also merits are use as a token of appreciation. We have different perspective and reason why do we give merit to the other people if you think why does the people who is giving a lot of merit to the higher rank too because the respond they give is have a good content that help the OP and other people. If you want to earn merit do become creative. Merit will helps you to rank too and if you have a good quality poster the merit will follow.

What is Merit and sMerit?
You have Merit and sendable Merit (sMerit). sMerits can only be send, they have no other purpose and hoarding them is pointless. When someone gives Merit to you they lose sMerit of the amount transferred and you gain Merit as well as sMerit (which in case you can send again).

That means posts are the determinant for merits while legendary are the highest rank, I have known the ranking also and how each coins indicate the ranking. I will try all my best to post good on this forum. Thanks.

          Legendary is a users rank. There is Brand New, Newbie, Jr. Member, Full Member, Sr. Member, Hero Member, Legendary Member, Donator,
          VIP, Moderator, Administrator, and I'm sure I'm missing a couple. More merit and more activity -> higher status
          Donations also equal higher status

          Just for looks.

          Your activity is how active you are :/
