So I really want to start approaching businesses in Cleveland to get them to use bitcoins.

However, I need to establish an understanding of how many people are in the state willing to spend bitcoins.

Please respond to this post and/or PM me if you are in Cleveland.

Please list businesses you would be willing to spend bitcoins at.  If I can get at least 10 people agree on one place they want to spend bitcoins, then I plan to approach the business.

I know https://bit-pay.com/ offers options and I may consider partnering with them to be taken seriously.

So I'll start: Vincenza's at 603 Prospect Ave. Cleveland, Ohio 44114

Would anyone else be willing to spend bitcoins at Vincenza's?  We probably need to keep it to one or two store businesses.  I doubt a chain would take me seriously or even have the option to adopt bitcoins at this point.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

So I've scoured the forums and the internet and I can't find one restaurant in Ohio that accepts bitcoins.

I think I have the first!  I had a beer at a restaurant tonight that I got set up with Bitpay!

As you can tell, I'm excited.  It's only taken me a year and a half.

We will be drafting a press release for the first restaurant in Ohio that accepts bitcoins, so please let me know if this is not true... I think it is!
