Damn you o_e_l_e_o... take a break, it's not a competition LOL. I was going to say maybe if you spent less time baking cookies, but I've not had any cookies in ages. Perhaps if I spent more time eating cookies? The top 10 are too fucking prolific, are you guys ever going to give the rest of us a chance to catch up? You could set up an anti-signature campaign. 0.001 BTC for every post I don't make.

I don't know details on date time from weekid. You should ask LoyceV for such details because it depends on how he coded weekid.
I think l can do it, I just did something similar now with timestamp. Now, what do you need? Data in above format or in excel sheet?
It can be a csv/txt or an excel sheet. Do you have a download link? or you can email me

<…> You can't convert this without downloading all posts. I think DdmrDdmr has that data available on his Merit Dashboard. Something like this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/172ThmUgimSmwispeeZIilvKJ4S9HF6Ca/view?usp=sharingThe link points to a CSV delimited file with some of the fields that are useful to enhance the sMerit TX data, amongst them being the section/subsection. Note that deleted posts and/or moved posts may render the information not 100% accurate (i.e. a post is merited in the Beginners and Help board, merited, but later moved to Bitcoin Discussion after a while). Every now and then I do reparse all merited posts to avoid this possibility, but I haven’t done it now for some time. Regardless, the associates section/subsection should be 99% correct I figure. Ranks included are current rank, not rank at the time of the sMerit TX. The header contains the field names, which should be easy to follow. Edit: I forgot to open the above shared link to all publicly. It should be open access now.

@OP here are some of my suggestions/requests about the data hoping to find a different view in the merits
- Merit Race in Local Boards - Like what was previously said some members in BCT mostly post in their local boards it will be interesting to see who is winning.
To do that I will need to do this first, as I don't knowc from which board the merit came from with my current data. I believe it would be nice to make a board race of circulating merits. I don't have that data now, as I don't know exactly how to convert forum posts to boards. You can't convert this without downloading all posts. I think DdmrDdmr has that data available on his Merit Dashboard. It looks more complicated compared to what I have imagined it to be but the nice thing about DdmrDdmr's merit dash board is you can filter out merits sent from local sections. But will you have a problem on implementing the data from there to your Merit animation? Because I think this will be challenging and time consuming to you especially when you do it by local board of a country.

Something is wrong with this data, specially in the last 5 weeks or so. It is different from http://loyce.club/trust/DT1-strength.txtI made the animation, but the data was inconsistent (only 3-4 DT 1 in the last week), so I will be doing another one with this file.

I am sorry for the incorrect stats. For my analysis, the bug does not affect my statistical results but for yours, it does affect. I have to replace ,, to ,., with dot represents a missing value. Then everything is fine. You can check the sheet again.

I am studying python and I managed to do something with @LoyceV's merit data and this nice website called Flourish Studio. I cannot post videos here, so here is the image. Click in the image to see the animation: Alternatively, you can click here for the animation. https://public.flourish.studio/visualisation/2867199/I will make Merit Senders race soon (I hope to get to that animation at least lol) Edit: I can make animations per request. For a different group of users for example. as suggested by 1miau Merit Senders animation The range between @LoyceV's and @Thermos is quite alarming, it's like @LoyceV's is likely to over throne thermos on Merits. Lets keep observation on. But I probably believe Thermos wont want that to happen 😀😀🤸

~ [/list] Are both be possible? AFAIK LoyceV has data on it I don't have up-to-date data on Ranks, but that's easy to get. It takes less than a day to scrape for all users who had any Merit transactions. But the next problem is their rank now might be different than their rank when they received Merit. Users grow through the ranks as they earn Merit. Maybe the way to animate those data is to simply let the top 10 (or 20) race until they reach their maximum merit before going to another rank and the video would simply stop among the top users that reached the upper rank first. You think this would be possible? The animation was simply amazing and useful as for future infographic reference and animating more possible data would be awesome. The range between @LoyceV's and @Thermos is quite alarming, it's like @LoyceV's is likely to over throne thermos on Merits. Lets keep observation on. But I probably believe Thermos wont want that to happen 😀😀🤸
Theymos didn't really care about merit as we was busy in the development of epochtalk and enhancement of this forum. And he doesn't really onto facing the community and its users, but rather letting other users such as LoyceV to spread good quality posts and helpful information.

What's the point of this graph showing the merit fonts golden showering each-other with merits? Are you really that bored whilst in lock-down?

If I remember correctly, @LoyceV used to give data to a guy who was planning to create similar charts before. It's been a long time and I haven't seen any such posts until today, when it was done by bitmover, did I miss that guy's post? I think not bitmover has a nice chart with pretty iron color The chart also shows that the top 19 and 20 are at high risk of being changed in a short time, the difference is very low. Can someone make this chart a light gif? It would be great to see it move

Nice animation, @bitmover. That showed me a bit how the historical development of merits from some top ranks in bitcointalk. But I am curious where some previous top ones on the list right now. It seems some of them disappeared or eliminated on the list. Is there a place that I can see the list of all the member names on the animation? It is much better if the names are clickable and directly go to their profiles.

You can follow LoyceV advice or just write "username bitcointalk" in google search that you can find all those user profiles. I liked your idea to make a link to each user profile in the animation. I will take a look at your suggestion in the incoming week.

Those two sources have different results, so it's worth saying that bpip includes airdropped merit while the forum's merit stats show only earned merit.

That is a very cool animation, OP. I had my eye on Jet Cash's performance and it kind of got me wondering where's he's gone to. He used to be extremely active here and was doing a lot of work to help newbies and such. Anyway, I'm surprised I'm still on that chart. My merit-earning has dropped off a cliff in the past year or so--and that's fine by me, since it's not like I can rank up any more. And my sMerit supply as a merit source keeps getting replenished so fast that I haven't had to dip into my earned sMerits in a long time....but yeah, thanks for that little bit of entertainment, OP. But I am curious where some previous top ones on the list right now.
I am too. It doesn't surprise me, since members come and go as their interest in either bitcoin or the forum waxes and wanes, and it's been 2.5 years since the merit system was rolled out. That's a pretty long time when you're talking about participation on a discussion forum.

One little bit off-topic digression here. You need to add Http:// or https:// in front of your website domain, then it will be clickable. so much easier especially for mobile device users to visit your page. domain .science is not top-level, for many people, it is not clear that it is a website. since everything here goes over Cloudflare, you can easily enable SSL certificate there (your hosting have also free SSL which you can use), just in a few clicks. Then you can always use https. So, your website https://bitcoindata.science

So, your website https://bitcoindata.scienceThanks. SLL was already enabled one of the first things I did when I opened cloudflare was to enable HTTPS. It is more professional to use https... I use HTTPS EVERYWHERE add on, so it was quite annoying for me when it was not enabled and I couldn't use https there

Updated merit race, earned and sent merits. LoyceV is getting closer to Theymos in the received merit race. And Ratimov is just climbing crazy to the top (in both earned and sent merit races)
