I have an interesting Lealana 0.1 BTC brass coin. It was funded on 6/27/12 and only funded with 0.0085 BTC. Anybody have an earlier funded Lealana or one that was underfunded?  First Bits are: 185fFdTX.

Any info would be appreciated.

Where are you getting the information for 0.0085? I pulled the first bits on smartbit and it shows the following address has 0.1 BTC funded in July 2017:

I used walletexplorer.com.  Makes me feel better looking at your link. Id rather have 0.1 bitcoin than 0.085. Why is wallet explorer different?

I am not quite sure as I have not used walletexplorer so another user may be able to chime in here. Are you possibly looking at a different address on the site? definitely much better to have 0.1 than 0.0085  Grin

For some reason walletexplorer is giving you the wrong address.

Your address has the the first “f” in lower case. But walletexplorer is giving you the “F” upper case address after it searches

185fFdTX - your address’s first 8 characters

185FFDTX4FHMJ4uKKCdK9ciUqcrRoKUuLP - address walletexplorer is giving you

They are pointing at different addresses:

185FFDTX4FHMJ4uKKCdK9ciUqcrRoKUuLP 0.0085

185fFdTXvmcNQAqcmcQXWxrcUttD33uPGE 0.1

first bits are the same, except for capitalization, which matters in old addresses, but not the new bech32 ones

Don't apologise, happy to help! Smiley It's actually the first time I have seen a collision between first bits, which makes it interesting in itself, and I was not aware that walletexplorer.com was matching against non capitalized characters, which is also good to know! Helpful post for me! Thanks Smiley

Guys, i had the same issue with one of the coins that MJ was auctioning a while back. The address returned had a different loaded amount.

After little research, I found the issue was with walletexplorer since it is case insensitive and if u are lucky u might get the right address and in some cases u might get other address if same firstbits exist in different case. That day on, i started using https://www.smartbit.com.au/ which actually does the case sensitive search.
