Evaluators Wanted

We need evaluation agents have very basic knowledge of the idea of blockchains, basic knowledge of what a hash is, and basic knowledge of using digital signatures. While Zenoribbon uses claimchains rather than blockchains, claimchains are simpler than blockchains. So, if you understand blockchain then claimchain is a walk in the park. We accept any member with 8+ posts (before yesterday) on a first come first serve basis.

You will not be asked to do anything suspicious like download executable files. The only tool you will be expected to need for evaluation is the TweetNaCl encryption page, which is a well respected Javascript page you can use with any internet browser offering online digital signature verification and hashing. Of course you will not be asked for any personal information, passwords, etc. for this task. The only information we need is your BTC address to pay you.

Your simple job will be to check to see if there are any public posts at three specific message boards once per day for three days, though I will use this websites PM system if I can to inform you of any posts with a link to the post(s). There are about four posts that will need to be evaluated initially over these three days which serve as template examples of the Public Settlement Network system used to process transactions. And yes, this digital money works by a series of public posts that anyone can read and understand with minimal effort. And of course this process will be automated at a future time.

You will receive $5 USD as BTC initially to join and read how retrocast transactions are supposed to work at zenoribbon D0T freeforums D0T net as proven by a one paragraph or longer explanation in your own words by reading that section and also the Zenoribbon transaction example section. You are then expected to report your basic understanding on this thread. Then $10 $USD as BTC more will be received after the third day for your participation. Broadly speaking your job as evaluator is to simply use your gut instinct to evaluate a claim just as you would any other random claim made on the internet... by thinking about it rationally and to your personal experience. The up to four evaluations are expected to take five minutes each to verify hashes/signatures, while the other 40 expected minutes taken up by doing your best to understand the system. Of course the system is deterministic according to very simple rules at its core, so only minimal thinking is needed just as blockchain is just a computation that is verified by validating digital signatures and/or hashes.

This process is quite simple because its all in human-readable language made to be easily understood when you look at the transactions. Total time taken is expected to be one hour but this is not guaranteed, though it is guaranteed to take less than two hours. Post your BTC address here if you want in as a tester. The first six people who have authored at least 8 posts before today on this site will receive the USD $5 signup as evaluators with the commitment to evaluate, and all of the first three people to actually serve as evaluators (based on first come, first serve) receive USD $10 more dollars after the third day.

Great, just visit the thread once a day for the next three days for the four "manual" transaction evaluations. The main idea of a retrocast message is that you relay the encrypted content you want to broadcast for a specific synchronized time ahead of time. You're in. As I've said with the others, the rest of the money is sent after four simple evaluation tasks that take place over the following three days.

First someone "encrypts" a "digital container" with a digital asset by hashing the container text along with a secret code. Then someone announces WHEN that secret code will be released along with the target destination container of the "digital container". This information is published to consensus-accepted publishers as "broadcasters". So if 4chan was an accepted broadcaster, this information could be relayed to 4chan for example. So, if one is satisfied that there are not too much hostile contesting information on any of these channels, one releases the secret code at the designated publication time. Knowing the formerly secret code then allows anyone to hash the original message including the secret code and see that the container hash is correct. This is considered a "retrocast transaction". Its done this way because its quite simple, and Zenoribbon is focused on simplicity.

After an example of the system, I'm hoping it will actually be self-expanatory by example. I don't expect people to read that whole thing at all... just the retrocast transaction snippets which I'm hoping just the very first paragraph will cover as the other sections on it are more involved. So, hopefully less than a page of reading will be needed. And even that 14 pages is part of a full book which is a complete plan of action to localize social power structures. I greatly appreciate your time and will make this as quick as I can for the evaluators. An evaluator is really two parts, verifying the signatures and then giving a common sense opinion on the claim ledger entries. The software isn't written yet to make it automated.

The tasks are mostly verifying hashes and digital signatures. Verification of some claims would also involve an internet search. However, learning how Zenoribbon works is definitely needed to some small degree. There is some small chance you'd still be needed as a backup evaluator.

Thanks, this looks exactly right, but I don't have time to double-check for about 14 hours. The reason why you're doing this step is in order to validate the claim chain transactions you have to understand which claim chain to evaluate. This is just like if you were assigned Bitcoin blockchain to evaluate manually, you'd have to form an opinion on which is the most honorable block to start the blockchain with. I probably should have explained that sooner and will have that added to the documentation. This could be considered either a genesis claim or part of the genesis claim.

Steps remaining include containerization of the Zenoribbon so it can be transacted as normal, and then dividing it into pieces that can be traded as normal.

The verification task is to ensure that the container identifier matches to the first person to claim it, that the hash accurately matches with the containerization text, and that the same public key that signed the homestead claim is the same public key to sign the containerization transaction. A simple internet search and check of the zenoribbon.freeforums.net transaction ledger will help in deciding if that is the next valid transaction after the homestead claim.

So, a statement of your choosing is then signed to verify that all the above is accurate and honored, or of not honored if the transaction is done with problems. I'll provide detailed instructions in a next post, but it will take a bit of time so this is hopefully enough to get started.

The Web of Trust is expected to be established on Zeronet (ZNET), which is basically a layer over Tor where everyone is encouraged to run anonymous services which could include a Zenoribbon claimchain ledger. Unlike .onion service, a Zeronet Service Cog is intended to be extremely easy to set up for any participant. Each participant is expected to build their own web of trust by ranking who they trust most to least. The overlap of agreement between that person and each other person they interact with on the network is where consensus begins to build. From that point, users are expected to assign a level of honor to the various groups within their network of most trusted people. The group with the highest honor is then delegated as the consensus leader for that participant. The protocols of that group will be accepted as the protocols used. So for Zenoribbon, the minimum time delay between transactions would be an example of the requirements by that group to get a transaction validated.

Task 2 Complete, thanks for your time! So, everything is done for now on your end and will be paid. Tasks 3 and 4 and canceled but everyone will be paid as if they were done. While Zenoribbon now technically exists by the homestead claim, which was published as a retrocast message, and there was technically a transaction (the containerization), we don't plan more transactions until we design an EASY way to transact it manually. Manual transactions are supposed to be easy, but are not. So, we will design a better signature verification system. It will be nearly identical to the TweetNaCl page, but with warnings and instructions. Its up to feathertone, who puts together the security kit. feathertone already has a great RSA signature app but it the key lengths are unacceptable and so we'll get a Wireguard type kit, which is basically the TweetNaCl kit but slightly easier to use. RSA is still common but think about what this thread would look like using RSA!

One focus right now beyond a manual review security system (as currently uses the TweetNaCl page) is to release a general purpose "universal" API so that any and all "Service Cogs" can connect to each other which would include cogs for transaction of the claimchain ledger. A service cog is basically a web service (like chaimclain ledger evaluation service) that can just as easily be run solely for a local machine as it can be offered as a paid remote service. So, that API will likely use sockets so that there is little difference when a service is run locally compared to remotely.

A service cog will start out as a compliant python script that can function as an anonymous Tor service (in this case for Zenoribbon transaction processing). We really want such services to also be set up if possible, very importantly, over proxy service using one or more hops to enable regular browser interactions without .onion which is not yet widely supported by browsers. The point is to make it easy to set up and resell a device computing power for uncensored web hosting purposes, over Tor or proxy service. The general attitude is that if their is a will, there is a way. And if there is long hard work and dedication to such ends, this will all be accomplished.

The API uses a RAMDISK for memory with the encouragement for all Zenoribbon (or Zeronet) related service cogs to exclusively store all variables on the RAMDISK in human-readable text format. Transparency and total comprehension are really a key feature for Zenoribbon at all angles. The RAMDISK has been coded for release for Linux but has not been released yet. Technically its not a RAMDISK and is actually a tmpfs system, but Windows does not support that and so will need to be a RAMDISK on Windows. That code is due to be released in July.

As I just mentioned in the above comment, a coder (Triturian) is coding a communications-by-socket API that should be able to work as both a (paid or unpaid) remote service and as a local service. That API will allow the transaction ledger services to be automated and anonymous. So, the application API is being coded before the application itself.

Good, I was able to verify this, thanks for your time! Yes, you can be a future evaluator, because we will be customizing TweetNaCl to be more Zenoribbon friendly if feathertone (who would be the dev for that) is up for that. He already coded something similar for RSA signatures, so maybe Wireguard standards will also be something realistic. The automated version is ideally no more difficult than what Bitcoin client is already doing though, involving simply running the app and it validates everything in the background.

Thanks, this did verify, though it added a space to the hash as usual making it difficult to verify. I'd recommend saving your public key as that key  being an early evaluator is street cred for when the evaluation service is released.
