Please note: your wallet needs to be running and synced to mine.

    1.Download the wallet and PoA Miner for the operating system you need.
    2.Download the sample poa_miner_configuration.json file.
    3.Place the file in the same folder as the PoA Miner executable.
    4.Extract and/or place the downloads into a single folder.
    5.Navigate to your Encrypt folder. Folder is listed by Operating System below:
    – Windows: %APPDATA/EncryptCore
    – Linux: ~/.encrypt
    – Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/EncryptCore
    6.Open encrypt.conf (create it if it does not exist)
    7.Edit the encrypt.conf to have the following info:
    server=1
    rpcuser=username
    rpcpassword=password
    8.Save the encrypt.conf.
    9.Launch the wallet and let it sync.
    10.Next, navigate to where poa_miner_configuration.json is and open it in a text editor:
    – Change the username:password to match your rpcuser= and rpcpassword= from encrypt.conf above (note the : separating the username and password)
    – Change the # of threads to the amount of threads you would like to use (number of CPU-cores can be used as a reference)
    11.Save the poa_miner_configuration.json file.
    12.Run the command below in Command Prompt or Terminal.

Windows
encrypt-poa-minerd.exe --config=poa_miner_configuration.json

Linux/Mac
./encrypt-poa-minerd --config=poa_miner_configuration.json

Devs are working on the chain. Wallets have been removed from the Github for now - appears to be an issue with the keypool. We will keep you updated via Twitter/Discord Ghost

Hello XCX community!
I like high coin supply and I also like POS, I am not a fan of masternode but I will stick around and see what this coin brings to the table.
BTW I wonder what POA stands for. Proof of...?

PoA - Proof of Assignment. Please check the link with brief explanation regarding PoW, PoS and PoA. I hope it is the same thing encrypt dev team is referring to as of PoA.

seems it's POS and masternode, so you need to run as many masternodes as you can to mine ...

The computational power required for this algorithm is far lower than both PoW and PoS, and it requires significantly less power consumption.
