It is really hard to trust bitcoin due to its volatility and the factors that affect the economy, but some other die-hard believers of bitcoin are really courageous at risking money. I use bitcoin but I don't focus only on its potential because there are stable coins, altcoins that you can use to have another source of profit not only this popular bitcoin.

The profit in bitcoin is extremely high compared to other coins but don't waste the opportunity to hold other coins.

Trusting bitcoin 100% is really risky and can make you lose your money and waste your time while waiting for it to grow. So while you're waiting for that to happen invest some in other coins and try to trust the potential of altcoins. They are worth to try.

BITCOIN INVESTORS:   There are some very serious potential problems and RISKS with Bitcoin Trust...  Any rational investor would take 10 minutes to eduate themselves about risks, listen to the information in the link below.

https://youtu.be/bSOEywn-2hw?t=2264

the risks are well known throughout the bitcoin community except for (maybe) the new adopters/newbies and that is what this forum and other bitcoin websites are for. to inform and guide(in some way) how the market works and how risky and dangerous it can be.

BITCOIN BELEIVERS:    Will never let any facts or information change what they want to beleive.   Like any cult like " beleiver ", they will deserve exactly what they get when they are wiped out.   Fools so not deserve to be rewarded.
aren't you doing the same thing with Peter Shiff and whoever it is your following other than him? (of course, you're going to deny it and that is fine.)

I do not like that people are using degrading things to gather some clout.
A very common tactic used by people who have been brainwashed(not saying that the OP is) into thinking that what he/she believes is the only right one.

Besides why make a video about the same risks that has been discussed ever since the inception of bitcoin and cryptocurrency, wouldn't that be redundant?
that's what I thought. but to be honest I think the video(didn't watch it but knowing the OP I'm just assuming) isn't just focused on the risk that comes with bitcoin but also steering potential investor away from bitcoin which is one of the most priority of the OP

You can't just change one's mindset in an instant. But you can change the way they are thinking about bitcoin's reputation and risks if those investors may try investing and experienced it on their own. It just simply their "own realization" to change their beliefs.

There are some who took the risk and become successful in the long run. Those who are courageous enough to know the real good impact of bitcoin in one's life are othen those who trusted bitcoin.

Hard Facts

Not another Peter Schliff post from Hard Facts! Anyway, I did click on the video, and the first few minutes after the timestamp are about stock, not a word about Bitcoin. So to be honest I don't understand why this video is offered to us by the op. Oh, on minute 41 he finally starts talking about Bitcoin.
Schliff is a gold guy, and fine, he can be a gold guy. But what does it have to do with Bitcoin? That Bitcoin is not nearly as stable as gold? I suppose anyone investing in Bitcoin should be aware of that. But gold is also not nearly as profitable in a relatively short period of time as Bitcoin. Higher risk - higher profit. I think it's fair.

Who knows he might have bitcoin as well but never wanted other people to get quick returns as he do so he is trying to manipulate people's mind.Volatility is the biggest gift of cryptos that is why people can be able to make profits in really short time but with stable gold we need decades to get considerable amount and also stocks are still risky compared to buying physical gold.

and thats is the biggest 'first world problem'.. no thought. just blind admiration/faith 'coz he popular'

I always wondered about the people that people admire. Go back before Bitcoin and before the internet, and you've got these huge personalities that seem to just instil awe in people. Kiyosaki I remember I heard everyone gushing about a long time ago and when I actually read a bit of his writing I was just put off.

But even he looks good compared to some of the drivel "crypto personalities" shovel out on a daily basis.

cost of mining is just one element of intrinsic value. and btc actually has some. (albeit some altcoins dont)

Intrinsic value. Ah. Another case of economists randomly picking out things they learnt from a textbook and were forced to answer in a certain way to earn their degrees.

So all that you're able to quote OP is Peter SChiff? A guy who promotes invest gold investments and bashes Bitcoin because, wait for it, Peter is Selling gold and Bitcoin was started to be called digital gold so it decreased his potential profits.

It's Peter's job to make Bitcoin look bad to you because there's a chance if you don't buy Bitcoin you will invest in the next best thing: gold.

Well, I know those who did not understand how bitcoin it works and the volatility on it, for sure they will not invest. But still, --from time to time there are a lot of bitcoin believers who still believe in bitcoin. You cant educate your self in crypto in just 10 mins.
Even though bitcoin has received a lot of criticism but still as you can see there's remain who use and adopt bitcoin as a form of money that has a value. Indeed, bitcoin is high risk but it is also high profit if you will succeed. Make your own research and don't rely upon other's theories.

Before anyone becomes a believer of Bitcoin, they must have passed that level you described as a Bitcoin investor.
When you invest in Bitcoin, knowing the risks is the next thing. It doesn’t take long before you realize that the price of Bitcoin fluctuates.

So, for you to say that anyone that is Bitcoin believer is a fool is not making any sense.. They already understand what they are into and its up to them on whether they want to believe in it or not.. And we all can’t believe in the same thing, that other people believe in BTC doesn’t mean that you too have to believe in it.. Let them believe what they want.

Thanks for checking out the video since I don't have time to listen to any repeatedly spoken words about on how Bitcoin should be like this and like that. Bitcoin is already there, all we have to do is to make something from it or work it like how it's working. Trade, buy, sell or even hodl—the more you stay in the market the more you learn on how to trade/invest carefully. Follow what the others do since they were the first one to experience lots of losses before reaching where they are right now.

We do have our own will and decide on our own and youre right that not all would need to have the same jurisdictions or decisions towards things.
Bitcoin cant please anyone thats why we do see different opinions and views towards it but to those believers we do know on how things works
and sees its importance rather than seeing on its cons most of the time.

Its up to us if we do treat it too hard and believe into those cons and trying to avoid from it but we know that benefits is much more heavier
thats why bitcoin does have big support even upto these years.

Okay, your opinion save others time and I agree its that simple if you don't like it then don't use it, no one is forcing anyone here and it might be true that some is forcefully entertaining or making others to engage with crypto but they are only passionate on how they see crypto or bitcoin and if they can spread it they think they were helping others.

There is always a risk in everything if you are scared of some risk don't take it there is no such thing as guaranteed 100% profit in any investment.

Blind trust is the problem, you have to be suspicious of everything in order to be certain of everything.
Blind confidence in bitcoin, in the euro, or in governments will end up with big problems.
There is no ideal system or able to solve all problems always be a need to find an alternative to the dollar and then there will be systems stronger than the dollar.
Altcoin will be stronger than bitcoin.

Altcoin will be stronger than bitcoin.

Uh, really?

The average altcoin requires you to trust the developer not to dump and carry on developing, trust the handful of miners not to rape it, and you, and the handful of piece of shit exchanges it's on not to bone you up the bottom.

Altcoins are basically not everything Bitcoin is. Their main problem is the thing you mention - far too much trust required and the people involved in this space usually are not.

I have to agree with this.  I would trust AltCoin even less than BitCoin  Sad   The counter party risk, along with the problem of ALL the crypto currencies including BitCoin is that they have no intrinsic value....  They are all worth ZERO, have absolutely no value, beyond what someone else will pay for them.  When this pyramid scheme comes crashing down, everyone is left with absolutely nothing.
