To be honest, I would prefer that Bitcoin become a boring currency. Now it is at a fairly high price level.
If it was completely stable, many projects could more easily raise funds and enter the market, altcoins could receive free pricing and would no longer be dependent on bitcoin.
But it’s obvious that this can only happen if the price of bitcoin drops to 0.

no one said its boring except you  . being common is not a threat but its a blessing because finally the long wait is over  . you know people always wanted this to happen   .  that should be the time where btc is now being used just like a normal currency  .

It looks like TS has to learn more about the bitcoin ecosystem and economic law. Conversely, if a product is increasingly known by the general public then it is very good for wider adoption.
Thus, demand will continue to increase, and this is very good for increasing prices. Moreover, bitcoin supply is limited, when more people want it, the price increases, just like gold.

Boring in what sense? You merely speculated throughout this post of yours, and no tenable facts. Well, for your information, what gives a thing its value is scarcity in the face of demand. I don't know why you're thinking that and I don't think that's likely to happen. The total supply of Bitcoin is a certain amount and its demand is constantly increasing day by day. More and more people are becoming aware of Bitcoin than ever before and are showing interest in investing in it. Moreover, as the market price of Bitcoin has always been volatile, traders are making a profit by trading in it and it has become a topic of attraction for investors at every moment.      I think you mean if the people in this industry? Because if not, then you are completely wrong. Bitcoins aren't even mainstream yet how could it become boring? Even the people who are in this industry for years never said it bluntly as you did. It may be boring sometimes in the bear seasons but that only happens for people who only stack and never trade. And if that isn't enough, ll the bitcoins ns haven't been mined completely yet. So that just means it will take a lot of time before the supply gets fully mined. If that person think about it (boring investment), yeah, his thinking differently from us. Why a lot of people jump into Bitcoin investment? It is probably because they saw its market potential, not a boring investment. Out of this certain amount of bitcoins about 10% or maybe more bitcoins aren't moving at all and that too from the initial days of bitcoin, so it means that these bitcoins won't move at all and thus making the supply even shorter. Bitcoin won't become a bad investment at all not even in the future as well, with more people joining the market the price fluctuations are also increasing as compared to 2014 or early days of bitcoin. Saying that Bitcoin will become a boring investment is a close minded opinion. That is why we are even here in the forum. People are learning and studying what Bitcoin does and how can it help users monetize their time. There is no problem investing on Bitcoin because you can gain it by a lot of ways. Maybe the reason why he is bored is simply because he cannot make money on his own investment. As a investors, of course you will feel grateful especially if you are earning huge amount of money. I think your statement is filled with a bunch of conjecture.  I don't think "many" people have bitcoin at all and I sure don't think that many have half of their portfolio invested inside bitcoin.  That would be foolish, especially considering bitcoin is not an investment inherently.

It was meant to be a online payment system, not some trading instrument, and most of these people wrongly assume that they are trading Bitcoin.
They are not, they mostly trade leveraged CFD's and other derivatives which is usually contracts for difference and it does not even involve one real satoshi.
If it's really Bitcoin then their transactions will have to be visible on the blockchain and in that case its a one way ticket because it will only be 'going long' since you can not short coins on the blockchain so that should tell you something about the incompatibility of the 'currency' from a market's perspective, the blockchain makes all the difference here because every transaction get's logged 'eternally' and brokers can not avoid, or manipulate it.
It baffled me to find that very little people understand this and they claim that they are trading real bitcoins and when i tell them that they are not they get angry at me and try to convince me otherwise.

Make it enjoyable investment. If you go for long time investment only by holding BTC its would be boring to you but if you circulate your BTC in different way like investment, buy, sell etc.. it would be enjoyable in your life. You have to earn benefit by investment and maximum doing this so that its more popular to everyone and me also.

Bitcoin is worthy of a long-term investment and even you will say that most/many people have held Bitcoin's already even this time, we can't tell that they could be bored in the future. It probably the market demand that will rise and people will keep on trading and investing. Things to see that they become more active than being bored.

on the contrary of your belief, I believe the scarcity of bitcoin and people buying more of bitcoin is a good one for the coin as it has a limited supply. it will further increase the price of the coin and also give hugh profits to those who invested in it. I will advise you try and get at least one for yourself.

You mean boring investment in a scenario where bitcoin doesn't have much fluctuation in price, becoming a stable or devalued currency.
Then I think it can't bring the market down, instead, it would be already a consequence of the marketing going down or a lack of interest consequence by enthusiasts towards bitcoin, however the *boring investment* isn't the main cause. In a scenario like that we would need to analyze other factors before spelling any theory.
