📣Will ETH fork as a result of the Proof-of-Stake transition?

📚In September 2022, Ethereum plans to switch its consensus algorithm to PoS. Some experts believe it will fork into two separate cryptocurrencies as a result.
 
📚According to a recent survey done by Galois Capital, 53.7% believe the switch to PoS will go smoothly. However, 33.1% of those surveyed are convinced the Ethereum chain will fork into two blockchains, one for Proof-of-Work and the other for Proof-of-Stake. Conversely, 13.2% expect three blockchains, where the extra one has the difficulty bomb that gradually increases mining difficulty.
