What I do know is that Satoshi profile is locked for security reasons, but I have to admit I don’t know how that reflects on the list you’re referring to. According to what can be seen on satoshi bpip there is no notification that the profile has been banned.

As for CW Faketoshi, he could not find this forum without the help of an assistant, let alone a plagiarized post by Satoshi...

You can see his ban status on his trust list page at BPIP.org. Typically it show the ban status on the profile of BPIP but this time its not. There some error on the founder account and maybe this the result of the temporary lock of the account due to the security issue.

The founder is inactive since 2010 so there is no way he will appeal and also he will not risk his location just to access his forum account. He already made a great escape so why he will come back again after 10 years.

Did presduterte cause this trouble to satoshi? He is the only person we know who distrusted satoshi. lol

I imagine there must be a lot of hackers going to try satoshi's account so before a hacker get his account and post something, I guess it's better to just disable satoshi's account. If it's going to be in the hands of a hacker it can be devastating but it shouldn't be labelled banned.

I've known for a long time that satoshi's account was locked (I think I must have read it in a post from theymos) to prevent it from being hacked. If satoshi wants to come back, all it takes is a signed message to theymos and he can regain access.

I didn't know "locked" also means he's banned though, until I added OmegaStarScream's list to my list of banned users. Most of them have probably been banned for years already, I just didn't know about them until last week.

Last week, 1019 users on my Trust list viewer were marked as banned. This week, it's 2122 users.

I think it is better if the account stays this way. Imagine the panic if a hacker/troll were to gain access to the account and make some negative posts about Bitcoin or announce the imminent sale of all his Bitcoin.

Maybe satoshi did set up a smart contract and time lock to activate the ban on the time he want for it.

Interesting question is: If the satoshi account is banned, who click on the button to ban him? All admins and moderators do know who is satoshi and which account is his. They will do due diligent thinking and in-depth investigations before the ban is applied that is nearly never will be applied on satoshi.

Ban the person who created the forum and gave it to others to operate and control it till now.

So basically satoshi's account is inaccessible unless he contacted the forum administrator theymos while ironically satoshi is the Founder of the Bitcoin and the forum itself?

But TBH I think satoshi's inactivity for years that have passed seemed to answer one common question which is "Who is Satoshi?", and the answer is I think Satoshi and his account were just a front to whom really is the Founder. I don't say it's theymos nor whatsover. I guess it's just a codename or a username which most of us think of since we started in the forum (while satoshi is the smallest amount of Bitcoin like penny in dollars).

But it is also kinda scary as there are still a lot of bitcoins that aren't used and in hold by Satoshi. If ever he's mad at us he might dump it lol

Satoshi is just a name chosen by the person or group behind bitcoin, nothing more than that.
Whether other members of this group may still be active in this forum will we probably never know, nor is it so important actually.
Satoshi of course can follow this forum even if his profile is locked, and if he doesn't want to use his profile here because of his privacy and security, it's his decision that we should respect.
Finally, if Satoshi ever decided to use again his profile here, I'm sure he will be able to prove his identity to the administrators without any problem.

He is the founder himself and founders don't appeal.  
The account was inactive from 2010 and therefore it does not matter much if is banned. However it can be unban anytime by the admin if they ever feel the need to enable it.

hashcash & inviting comments on his paper, and to try the alpha
software; the irony that I invented the hashcash function all the

I second this thought as it doesn't look nice seeing those  ugly tagged associated with his (Satoshi) account. At first when I saw the topic title of this thread I was curious to read what has happened since alot of controversial when satoshi is mentioned.

Some noobs might misinterpreted this and go on to spread the misconception of Satoshi no longer been welcome on the bitcoin he created (co-founderd) and probably bitcoin in general since his account is banned lol.
