There are a lot of fake news out there luring people and scamming them , take for instance what happened yesterday on twitter a lot of gullible people fell for it . How could one ever fall for that trash of sending 1 btc and getting 2 btc ? anyone who cares to give back to the society genuinely wont ask you to send money first to his account . we need to be more careful about fake news.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Regarding the theme, it's not to be doubted that many people get carried away by any type of news and rely on social networks to set up their investment or research on. Unfortunately, there are two paths we can take:

First:
Search for information on official forums like Bitcointalk. This path is the basis of everything and strengthens your searches on other sites

Second:
Consult social media and news sites. This path is not bad but you are subject to pitfalls imposed by advertisers with negative intentions.

In general it is very sad to see people lose large amounts of money by reading a manipulative news.

You are browsing through Twitter or telegram and you come in contact with news like this '𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙨𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝  Mr George Anderson ịt has been a life changing experience and a God sent to humanity 𝙞𝙣𝙗𝙤𝙭 𝙝im 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙖 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚'

When ever you come across such it's a total scam, it's never real to begin with, it's just a fake good news to lure you into a trap, do not bother to read

The fact is people who make it big aren't always ready to share news about how they do it
Obviously it is another tactic from scammers and sadly many people still fall for such things even they know that making money is not so easy and i fully agree with your point that if someone is making loads of money why he will even want you to tell you his secret it is just a trap to make people invest in their ponzi schemes where everyone loses in the end.

If it was Telegram then I can understand but even Twitter now is a bad place too. Famous Twitter account got hacked with "sent $1 and we will double that amount" bullcrap scam? Wtf?
Twitter has become a very bad platform since a long time ago and facebook is much more safer than twitter in term of security. it was creating by scammers and so many people have been getting trapped caused by that.
This hacker case is rarely happened with FB

Honestly, if you don't have enough experience in this field then fake news will affect you. As we saw it yesterday, fake giveaway news was spread by hacking big Twitter accounts. Many people later sent bitcoin after that trap. So there is no substitute for caution.

I don't belief in good news from strangers online, they are sharing it for a purpose and they are always ready to show you but the truth is it's all lies, in the end money will be asked to deposit in some address and you ain't getting that money back

Well, heavy news will be accompanied by evidence, not opinions. However, at this time rumors say that prices will be higher between December and 2021. Believe it or not, that is news based on speculation. however, I quite believe that. however, many opinions like this are aimed at getting people to panic sell, and we don't know which news will be like that.

I once entrusted money to be used by someone and it was bad, I lost 50% of my money.
since at that time I used my money to trade on my own, I only relied on news and some advice from other people, and it was better than putting your money on someone like that.

Everyone will try to shill their own bags, either its on Twitter, Facebook or Telegram. Trust only yourself when it comes to crypto. At the moment I am sticking with the DeFi craze and riding the hype train, so I am really not too worried about anything else that could distract me on that ride, so better luck next time shillers and scammers.

This is one of the cheapest scam I ever seen since I join cryptocurrency, and is advancing everyday. Have alot of scam messages related to this sent to my email and some are even been sent directly to me on Telegram. I believe only newbies will fall this cheap scam and not and not a cryptocurrency expert.

most of these methods go to strange people or groups, so it's almost always a scam, I see them spam everyday, so just follow good famous people or groups to get the best news.

many good groups in the telegram, you can join in several channels, and follow the news,
fake news is indeed prohibited, but if the bullish occurs usually FUD will come with FOMO

In the crypto world, one has to be careful of the source of information and its authenticity. Not just in the currency or coin trading world, but also in other activities of the world. Greed is what makes lots of people fall for those scam information. This happens more with newbies. Those spammy messages are everywhere these days. It's better those who don't know about scammy messages heed to a warning or get sucked off your hard-earned money. I almost fell for one at a point. I learned.

Instead i will say, don't get moved by any news, either good news or bad news, you cannot be moved, instead you analyse the impacts of the news on the market and determine if long or short term before moving

It still happens and it pops up on telegram most times, most especially in telegram community whose admins are not very active to delete the posts that are irrelevant.
Still i do not expect people to fall for such, except someone that is looking for cheap things.

There are lots of fake good news out there in the world of crypto. It is no longer a strange thing that day in day out we keep having numerous fake news flying around the crypto atmosphere and a lot of people are falling victim of it.We need to be careful of the kind of information we give in to because most of these fake information have caused so many people much grief as a result of being outsmarted by it. If we hear any information at all that seems to trigger our interest in participating in some investments, we must be meticulous enough to make our findings so as not to be defrauded.

The same way social media users on twitter were promised to send bitcoin to some wallet and receive 50% back fo what they send and some people fall for that. i don't think crypto scam will ever stop and it is quite unfortunate that people will still fall for sure scams. till date, many MLM business are out there looking for newbies to scam of their hard earn money.

I never followed this kinda scam news, only new fools could follow it. Every telegram group should add a new banned process like these cheap scammers. To make any scam news, it is also a smart move. Every scam project has the same process, you should send money first.
