Being a culer, last couple of days were horrible for me. Can't tell you the mental pressure after seeing my favorite team getting smashed by German Giants by 8 to 2. But now I am ok and ready to support FC Barcelona once again. We won't let our team become Milan and support any kind of revamp team comes up with. Once a culer, always a culer!

Thank you Trofo for coming up with the prediction pool for La Liga. Last year, I joined Premier League pool hosted by hilariousandco but my favorite league is La Liga and prefer it over EPL any day. I can already see 10+ names in OP so it gonna be interesting competition. Beware people, I am La Liga expert and you won't find it easy to end in Top 3 playing with me.

Not a natural Catalan here but spiritual supporter of Barca. I guess you and me know the heartbreak for 4 seasons in a row now, it's like we love to go to Champions League to be humiliated by French, Italian, English and now German teams. And that is the life of a football fan. We live and die with our teams, no matter what.

Look forward to do better in this league than in EPL and CL where I'm bottom:p

Small update for participants:
1. Please write your Superbru username when you are posting in this topic next time so I can put it next to your name in OP. That way we know who is who and I can check who already joined the pool and who forgot. So I can send you reminder via PM
2. You will get PM with password to join the pool as soon as I am able to make actual pool on Superbru. They still haven't opened tournaments for any league except Premier League. They will open them at least a week or two before the actual league begins so no worries.
3. There is 9 people in the pool already which I consider quite good since we still have a lot of time before actual competition starts. I'll also send PM reminders to the people which were on the interested list and didn't already join about two weeks before we start.

Damn, I forgot about you. Now I am looking at pool finances and wondering why I have one fee extra, needed a couple minutes to remember Just woke up, brain needs a bit more times it seems.

The moment has come - Superbru has finally opened the La Liga tournaments and I have created our pool. Access to the pool is via link or password + I need to personally admit you to the pool (that is another reason why I need to know your Superbru nickname). I will send links via PM to all the paid participants in the next half an hour. If I missed some of you let me know but I should be able to manage 10 of us without much problems.

Edit: Sent all the links, first game is only 10 days away, you can already start entering your results.

this could be an interesting season, IMO Barcelona will not finish within top 2
nevertheless, could not say who will join Real Madrid in that top spot fight, Atletico or Sevilla, or some other team will have their season, could see just Sociedad and Valencia having the financial and administrative background to win constantly during season, but did not catch that they improved their teams

but, for a prognosis before the season sake - title will stay in Madrid

You joined and I already approved you, so all set

Yes, but you only have a limited amount of those default picks. I think there is about 10 of them so if you miss one whole match day you are pretty match out. You can now enter your results all the way to the final match day and make sure you don't forget. Later you can change your picks as much as you want until the game starts or you lock the picks. You will also get Email notification if you haven't done picks 3 days before and another notification 1 day before games start.

After you lock the picks you can't change it anymore but you can check what others played in the pool. There is no need to lock the picks they get locked automatically when the game starts.

Hopefully, that covers everything.

I am playing these pools for 4 leagues so I usually enter all the picks about one week in advance and then I tinker before the matches start. Never locking any picks unless I plan to bet something big on particular game. In that case I lock that pick and check what pool leaders think about my choice

He clearly said that he doesn't believe what Koeman is trying to do in the squad. Considering all the factors, I think it will be another disaster year for FCB but being long time supporter of the club, I will stand with the club for yet another year. Let's hope for the best.
