I will have to agree with this, cryptocurrencies are great tools but by themselves they do not really generate jobs, jobs are generated it by entrepreneurs taking advantage of this new technology and using it to create something with it, an example of this are casinos, casinos existed before cryptocurrencies but when they saw the possibility to offer their game and at the same time offer a great deal of privacy and instantaneous payments entrepreneurs created an industry where none existed before, and while the number of jobs related to cryptocurrencies are slowly increasing I do not think we can expect this industry to solve the problem of unemployment around the world.

It seems like what you are saying that what you are doing by joining the bounty and until now has not been paid, I do not believe only because of the lockdown due to the pandemic, but they may indeed delay because they don't want to pay because now many scammers are doing things they can by anything for own benefit, so don't trust someone like that. The pandemic is not really directly related to crypto, the proof is that many projects are still running and paying even though the value is not large because investors are still sorting out projects that can indeed bring profits because of the many frauds.

Cryptocurrency development creates a limited number of jobs, but if we take the bigger picture the impact is insignificant. I am not just talking about the developers. A lot of jobs will be generated in the form of bounty hunters, exchange staff.etc. But in the end, as you have stated the number of jobs freshly created will increase only if the project is successful and it is implemented successfully.

The pandemic did create development momentum for cryptocurrency, especially when many central banks launched CBDCs, but the pandemic also actually had an impact on Bitcoin in March. I do not think there is a single industry that remained unaffected because of the pandemic, many were affected negatively but many industries were affected positively but even if the market of cryptocurrencies went through a crash in March because of the pandemic we need to also remember that people went back to the market immediately and now the market is looking extremely healthy and there is always the possibility of a bull run at the end of the year.

More on investment I believe because being an alternative way of payment seems not too attractive for most users since the transaction fee is high, unless you are using an altcoins but later you'll still convert it to btc then fiat which is very expensive.  We haven't got massive adoption yet, the norms hasn't change yet, it's still volatile so not suitable as a payment system, unless your purpose here is to invest then you can take that risk.

The problem has given so many people the hard time to search for other means to get a life and feed the family. It opened the eyes of many now and as you have said, many went into learning how to do online businesses and many companies retained workers who are already good with internet business to carry out office work from home.

I do not think there is a single industry that remained unaffected because of the pandemic, many were affected negatively but many industries were affected positively but even if the market of cryptocurrencies went through a crash in March because of the pandemic we need to also remember that people went back to the market immediately and now the market is looking extremely healthy and there is always the possibility of a bull run at the end of the year.

Every industry experienced downfall in its revenue, health industry is the only sector that could've gained large scale revenue. This happened as the covid-19 cases globally kept rising, but the hospitals were allowed to charge even without a proper vaccine. Cryptocurrency industry too isn't an exception, the market fluctuated a little and started to bounce back with its regular fluctuations within limited margin.

During the pandemic the global usage of cryptocurrencies too have increased a lot. Following the same, more and more number of DEFI projects too gave more visibility. Another thing, even though people are within the home there is no big hack during this time period.

The stock market recovered incredibly fast and this was like always because governments threw huge amounts of money to the markets so it could survive, but I wonder how long they can keep doing this without distorting the economy to the point the stock market does not reflect the reality at all and then it crashes? I say this because while the stock market returned to their previews ATH the economy is in shambles and there are tens of millions of people unemployed and I doubt this can continue for much longer.

I don't see any large-scale increase in job opportunities, either in digital platforms as a whole, or specific to the Blockchain sector. I am hearing less about Blockchain and Cryptocurrency with every passing moth. The media coverage is declining. It is almost like they have forgot Bitcoin. There was some spike in interest during the DeFi bubble. But now everything is back to normal.

Jobs have been increasing as new projects are coming to the market every day and there always will be more jobs as more people learn about crypto and blockchain technology. Yes, it's not a complicated concept. Cryptocurrency is an unproductive asset. You can own it and it doesn't produce income. It doesn't produce jobs. Do you actually not understand this? Any "crypto jobs" that exist were created by people, not the currency. Again, a hammer doesn't create jobs. People create jobs for which you have to use a hammer to complete the job, but that's not the hammer creating the job. Same concept with crypto.

And no, the whole financial system is not moving to the blockchain technology. A tiny fraction of a tiny fraction of 1 percent of the financial system utilizes blockchain, and that's your definition of the "whole financial system?"
