Surprisedly, this is going to shock a lot of people who will expect ETH to rocket at that release. I have been old enough in this game to know I should hold a contrary view. Just watch and see, ETH will crash a few days to the testnet release and days after it. Hodlers will dump in the guise of buying back cheap. This has always been the pattern in this industry. My advice to investors is not to buy in a few days to the release. Now is the right time or they wait for a few weeks after the release.

You hear brrrrrrrrrrrrrr? I'm still holding and waiting for its release to become stable. I wouldn't dump although I'm sure that there's going to be a dump after this positive that we're getting. I'm too bullish for the Ethereum re launch. I have been following them for some time and they seem to be doing the right things. There will be much more buy after the launch as people would jump into creating nodes for the network. If the launch is smooth, transaction time made quicker and fees lesser, Ethereum would have another boom with the help of dapps and dex. |

Eth is due for big break above and massive bull run and i hope that by the end of the year eth will be around previous highs especially with so many developments and upgrades coming they will add fuel to to the fire and we can expect parabolic run in eth price. |

Well finally it's gonna be here but why I somehow feel underwhelmed but this coin is still promising to hold though, I can feel the hype from the people all around and maybe it's gonna get past $300 which not too optimistic considering it's already break through $250 mark. a massive pump is always welcomed  . |

Haha I like your excitement and expression, let's hope our ETH bags will boom. ☺ If most DEFI projects are doing well this era, I see no reason why the initiator of smart contracts itself and the major backbone of DEFI projects being Ethereum shouldn't blast. I believe scalability issues will be tackled to some extent with ETH 2.0 launch. However, nobody knows it all, the reverse might be the case, lol. |

The only reason why EOS and Tron is popular is due to the congestion on ethereum network and it's relatively higher fees. If these issues are addresssed with the new update, people would not even look at EOS and Tron which are both controversial coins with higher degree of centralized control. Ethereum is one of the most decentralized coin and that's the reason why it still holds the number two position. |

I have waited long since the bear market and also fled from that. The price starts to increase and I've been there at the bottom, so it's ok for to me to wait again for another run if there's a chance for it to get up. Like everyone's speculation for Ethereum, this 2.0 launching will trigger the price to rise and to sudden fall. Despite those, I'm leaning to my experience and no alter decision will be applied because I've already held. |

I can understand the excitement,,, but just be patient and see what happens yet for a little while;) Yes ETH is getting so popular but I still am not convinced DeFi and ponzi apps can sustain this run, and of course we all wish gas fees are cheaper,,, so there are many things to consider yet.
Hold your horses but enjoy the ride:)

You do and i can't even be a patience person to see how much people will become validators in the testnet. It shows that even in the beacon chain https://beacon.etherscan.io/ there are so many people have already tried to be validators. have you prepared your ethereum for that? |

They still have a long way to go but the news of testnet release and announcing November as the release month for the mainnet really shot up the price now I am still eagerly waiting for ETH to cross $300 |

If you are starting to just invest on ETH because of they hype then you are too late. You should have bought it when the price is still very cheap and preparation of their ETH Testnet and I'm sure this is the main reason why the price broke it's $250 big psychological barrier for many months because of this news. Now $300 will be the next target if they can release ETH 2.0 this October. So the excitement has just began for ETH and if they can keep track of their schedule maybe before the end of the year, $400-$500 will be within grasp. |

Everyone expects a big upwards price movement once 2.0 goes live, but the usual pattern in crypto is that in this situation we actually see an initial price drop. Certainly 2.0 is encouraging for long-term price movement, but short-term movements are more driven by speculation, and it is rare to see significant upwards movement when a much-anticipated upgrade launches.
This may all be complicated by the fact that ETH is currently priced quite low against BTC in historic terms, and there is always the possibility that any change for this particular coin is swamped by overall market trends, but certainly, this 'price drop on launch' is a general trend to be aware of when considering jumping in.

Every ETH holders is waiting for this event even my self , let us see how this eth update will help the price to back again to normal and hopefully beat the ATH or at least half of the price of it before by the help also with the new tech they offer like DEFI project and the staking rewards to holders. |

eth testnet ? whats this , another gimmick that answers to defi ? or is this the update for the eth 2.0 but the name sounds familliar to me i think i already heard of that testnet before but it does not matter if what is it but as long as its beneficial on the eth or much better in the overall cryptos , ill alway be happy to welcome it .
10 percent is small to say that eth is on dominance but thats better than zero gain . 250 being broken by eth is something that eth users are waiting .
