When the system was implemented, people were given a certain amount of Merits according to their current level. Your level at that time was (and logically still is) Member. Members started off by default with 10 Merits, so they were not given to you by other members.

It's by the way explained in the link that LFC_Bitcoin posted above, so instead of replying "thank you" and "love you" over and over, stop posting and start reading.

Since I am always very suspicious of all "newbies" who have an early registration date, I can assume that this is not your account. Was the account purchased or were you blocked earlier?
At least this account is bookmarked, I will keep an eye on your activities.
In any case, you should start reading the rules of the forum, this is the very first wish that we could advise you.

Disregard his statement. He is just assuming possible scenario.

The easiest way to get merit is to determine what kind of topic that you have an edge. If you are good on technical discussion then create useful topic about it. But if you are still developing your skills then you might try to contribute something useful to your Local board. That's the best place to earn your merit because you are already familiar on what still needs there.

the 10 merits you received are airdrop merit when theymos implemented the merit system in the forum, all members got airdrop merit respectively based on their ranks/activity.

Its not impossible to get merit if you are able to do some good posts. Also note that there is no shortage of smerits because when you will receive 2 merits you will automatically get 1 smerit to send. Also there are merit sources who have been given a lot of merits to distribute but you will only get the merits if you post something constructive  and valuable for the community.

Such statements always resent me. If you are asking for merit, you should probably know that you need to earn it. I looked at your posts and what Apart from plagiarism, I found nothing.

Answer of 1st question is its fully my choice when to use my account.
2nd. You may see my profile i post  my name in prmotions   so yeah i am familier but not with merit system

I second this; it's not going to help OP rank up any faster by cranking out a bunch of posts in a short period of time.

And OP, I don't know when exactly you were on hiatus from the forum (I can't view most of your posts because I apparently have the sections you posted in on ignore), but I don't think you could have picked a worse time to do so if you're concerned with earning merits and ranking up.  If you'd just kept posting regularly from the day you registered until the end of January 2018 (when the merit system was rolled out), you'd be at a higher rank than you are now. 

Also: some members might tell you it's not that hard to earn merits, but for the vast majority of posters here it's extremely hard.  Basically in order to earn merits, your posts have to really stand out against most of the nonsense garbage that gets posted all around the forum.  Even then your post has to get noticed by someone who has merit to spare, which is always hit-or-miss depending on which section your post is in. 

And finally I'd mention that the more you post, the more chances you have to earn merits.  If you're only posting casually, a couple of times a week or so, don't expect to earn any merits unless what you're writing is pure brilliance.  I think it's true that the majority of members who've earned the most merits tend to be prolific posters.  So anyway, welcome back to the forum and good luck with your journey.

Easy way: make good posts. Judging by your post history and this topic, it's not going to be easy.

Yeah. Just submitting usernames in games and rounds, it won't help.

You need to go and learn many things, and share the knowledge if you are good at something. I think the quicker way to get on board is to analyse yourself and see what SME (Subject Matter Expert) are you and start talking about it around the forum.

It better be associated with the forum category and if people think it's convincing then it could be best shot for ya.

These As I noticed it is not on how quick you deliver a news about crypto, delivering a message from one another is easy to do, what's hard is giving an essential insight with it what's possible and not possible with that stuff, that is what most likely a reader want and that is what mostly deserve a merit. Merit is same as worthy and quality so you better worthy and quality contents to receive merit.

Besides ranking up isn't the goal of meriting system, it is just the process of ranking up but the sole purpose of merit is to give quality to the forum.
