Scammers would really do anything that they can to enact their agendas. Today, scammers are more intelligent and has their own strategies to fully stage a scam, from using big names and fabricating evidences just to deceive people and make them believe of what they are presenting are purely legit.
Nobody will dispute that facts. Though, if they choose to come back with good and curling tactical method of getting funds from the gullibles we should be more alerted when they get start. Series of these online streaming videos are cut types and those with greediness can only find theirselves into this mess. Sometimes we are responsible for things that happened to us, why do you want free things from unknown individuals or groups? They can't be realistic.

BTCBTC I tried checking the link but it says that the video was already removed since it violates the community guidelines of Youtube. I also can't find the fake channel, I guess it already got removed by YouTube. If that's the case, I think youtube is now stepping up and taking actions with this kind of scamming tricks due to some related issues.

Imagine the number of people who watched that live stream, they could have scammed a lot of people. But it's good that YT already took it down. It just shows how many people can get fooled by scammers making fake accounts and fake giveaways in popular platforms.

Scammers are back with their old method but with another new trick. Currently, they are streaming video on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoQX4hElcSU&feature=emb_rel_pause, with the video title 100000 ETH giveaway. Be alert guys.   They made the channel name Foxnews which is fake of course and they are streaming an @ethglobal video.

I am appalled by the audacity of these scammers as they do anything just to take advantage of potential investors and ultimately succeeding on their scams.

As someone who constantly checks the projects posted under the ANN boards for plagiarized whitepapers, ponzi schemes, and fake team members, I can definitely say that there are several projects that are couched in a way that look genuine facially. Scammers nowadays are evolving and they are exhausting all the means in order to abuse and trick these investors.

I just want to remind everyone to please double-check before you invest your resources in the project. In addition, please check the project if there are any open scam accusation against it or check their profiles if there are any flags imposed upon them. Let's help each other and make this forum a better place so we can invest safely and surely among some promising projects.

It looks like the scam has been detected and removed by YouTube. There will always be scammers like this. People should be careful on the crypto world. If you just make one big mistake, you could lose your cryptos so easily.

It's not so offensive when your resource contribution to the project is limited to posts in social networks, blogs, and video sites like YouTube. You actually didn't spend much time, and the fact that the final payment didn't happen is of course upsetting, but not critical. It is more sad when you invest a large amount of money in a project as an investor and as a result it flies to the wallet of some fraudster. Please be careful when sending money to someone.

The first is Facebook, Twitter, Google advertising now to youtube, scammers are very creative to find ways to make money from people. They insert false messages into videos of celebrities and make people believe they are real. I do not trust those messages, perhaps only newcomers to this market are fooled so easily.
We need to do something for YouTube to censor the content and not to expose fraudulent information to everyone. They are making the crypto reputation worse.

You need to act fast since once the live streaming happened there are always people that will follow those scammers.

You are right, scammers are always updated and they are very creative in finding ways how to scam people, using new sets of
ideas and tricking people to support their scamming activities, If you see such things around make it quick to report right away.

Yeah..I have noticed such, all these scammers have different method to scam people, the only problem we have now is that we don't know who is a scammer,
If I may ask what remedy can we apply to overcome hackers or scammers not to penetrate into our account.

What a way to trick newbies. But let's face the fact, is like YouTube is concern with the money they are collecting from advertiser and not the content. This video has been reported and I am still amazed that it is still up and running. It is only those who are doing genuine videos that will be receiving strikes.

The video has since been removed for violating their terms and conditions. I guess YouTube heeded to your call.

It is good that YouTube took it into consideration, I think this video was removed thanks to this guys. But the pity one thing is that lots of people had already watched this video. The most sad in this situation is that lots of newcomers might believe in this because of the lack of experience. It would be great if all people from the crypto society be so conscious as the author of this s topic.

I always act on a phishing report. I am concerned that these fake news will become more popular and as more fraudulent stores become, social media or advertising media will continue to ban cryptocurrency advertising as in previous years.
I believe people are wise enough to know what a scam is and what is the truth. Recently, social media accounts of famous people were hacked, but few people were caught in the trap.

To be honest, you are already pretty tired of all these tricks, but you can't get away from them.

First, money is important and no one can give you anything for free but bounty programs or project marketing. I got fed up with giveaways programs. They are fraudulent and still put on social networking sites every month. Only inexperienced people are susceptible to being deceived.

Scammers are much more talented and cleverer than us.  They are inventing a lot of new ways to steal our bitcoin. They always create new traps. I think the only way to escape from their trap is to always be vigilant and we must have enough knowledge about bitcoin. Otherwise we will easily lose our bitcoin.

There are a lot of newbies that still fall in the old methods that is why there are still so many cryptocurrency scams on the internet that exist for a long time already. Do people still don't figure out the scams? Still, there are so many people that are getting interested in bitcoin and cryptocurrency meaning there are so many newbies that don't have knowledge about these scams. Newbies are already encouraged to do these scams because they always want an easy profit. Having no experience you could easily fall in that trap but the knowing experience you would know that it is not easy to get a profit even in cryptocurrency.

This is why its really important to read up even the basics and do make some little research before making further steps on new things that you are tending to engage.

Scammers is always one step ahead of us even old users do even possibly still get victimized. There's always a new trick up to their sleeves thats why we should really be careful

and before making actions then always do your own research. Also, having your common sense would really be enough sometimes on avoiding yourself into these situations.

before.
We do need to adds up if we can provide information or e can report it right away to limit the scam activities.

Only greedy people will be victims of this scam.  What people need to understand is that, there is nothing free in this crypto ecosystem we find ourselves. It's either you work for it or buy them with your own money.  If you are a greedy person, there are people in this crypto space looking for you just to take the little you have.

So far as there are greedy people in this space, scammers will always find a way just to steal people who do not appreciate the small amount they have.

It's not just about greed. Yes, greedy people fall for tricks more often, because when they see a freebie, critical thinking turns off.
But among people there are those who just want to get a crypt just like that, and those who do not have the funds to purchase it. For example, the participants of the Airdrop, are they all greedy? I think no.
The main problem is not greed, but the laziness of the mind of people who do not check information before using it.

Why don't they use same energy in working out their on money on same platform if they could think on how to use this in getting money from people they could also make their own genuine money instead of ripping people of their hard earned money.. And another group of people who will be victims are those who are always interested in giveaway or looking for give away sites ..... Thanks for the information it was helpful
