Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I have noticed them but not only this time but even during the old times, there were scams countless times. They never give up and even up to now, they are still spreading their scheme throughout the cryptocurrency communities. The twitter account scam that promoted scams, I don't have updates with them but if I have to read one update from them then it should be that Twitter has already done their part to tracked the person responsible for that ruckus.

Anytime BTC begins massive upward movement, expect scammers to come out from their shelves hunting for gullible greedy people. Imagine I got a call today from a friend, telling me that he got a mail to login to a fake blockchain wallet and get returns just by storing his BTC in the wallet, stating is an, upgraded version lol. We just have to be careful in this bull season.

The fraudsters are always innovative and always think of something new. I think for experienced people it is not a problem to recognize such scam giveaways, but for newcomers it is sometimes difficult to see where is real and where is wrong.

are all these planned because people are tempted to give in and fall in this scam giveaways because of the big bonus
Bitcoin is now moving up and so many social media of popular people are hacked, is this coincidence or planned.

The amount of such scam giveaway increases when the bitcoin market continues to go up. Because when the bitcoin market starts to go up, there is a lot of talk about bitcoin, so new people come to the crypto market. And the main target of these scammers is the newbie. Newbies come to the crypto market with plans to get rich quick. As a result they participate in such giveaways for quick profit and send the money to scammers. So scammers take advantage of this opportunity.

If they hadn't benefited from this kind of scam giveaway, they wouldn't have come up with one new website after another. So I will tell everyone that now that the market is going up, you have to check it well before entering any kind of website.

The scam giveaway does not happen only this year.  There had been lots of the same scam for several years now, its that it just made its bold move when it hijacks several known twitter accounts and tunnels their scams through those accounts.  The scam is obviously planned but the movement of BTC going up has nothing to do with these scams.

True as you said in the moment of BTC price increase there is always a person who exploits the situation to deceive many people.  In the case of Twitter account hacking, there was a leak of Twitter data at that time, I think the fraud mode was in the name of the owner of a well-known Twitter account and there was no connection with the surge in BTC prices today.

I think all of this was already planned and they chose this good time where bitcoin moves up to deceive a huge number of greedy people from these scam giveaways, who have no experience in crypto and only who trust in famous and influential people blindly trust without thinking and studying things very seriously, This is a harsh lesson for those who lost their money in these scam giveaways, so that they learn that there is no quick profits.

Scammers will try and try again and the bad thing is, they are growing everyday. Since a lot of people see that they can screw naive individuals without risking their identity, they found a good breeding ground to hold their operations. That is the drawback of crypto, as they can launch their projects anonymously or give rewards, promos or any giveaway without giving their true identities, they can get away without a trace. So it is only up to the user if he will be lured with these too-good-to-be-true offers.

Scam giveaways have been around for a long time now which are mostly seen in social media channels starting with twitter. Also the social media hack that happened was something that was planned by the hackers and also owing to the fact they know most people are greedy when it comes to giveaways, they leveraged that tactics hence they succeeded. Also, although I might not have noticed the rising number of scam giveaways because I hardly pay attention to them, but I think you are making a good point, that is, with Bitcoin surging high scammers will look for ways to acquire more of it, thus bringing out more scam giveaways, airdrops etc

Not only we should be very careful but we should also be aware of how these scammers work and if we find a site that you think is a scam we need to share this to the community for awareness, they are now very creative and will always find a new scheme to scam people.

The giveaway scam didn't only happen this year but it has been around a long time ago, for what just happened it might just happen to be close to the bitcoin pump. Scammers will continue to strive to think of new ways to fool everyone. so stay careful
Scam giveaway has already exist since crypto was created but there will be more scammers when cryptos are in the bullish trend. You can try to see the comparison between 2017 and 2016.

When the hype happens, a huge number of scammers appear who are trying to steal your money. it seems to me that everyone in the cryptocurrency market already knows all the scam schemes
That's why and those scammers will be going so crazy and we need to be more careful with our money to avoid the scammers. The bitcoin pump could lure those scammers to create various trick to scam others.

Spread more awareness.
In addition, due to the pandemic, the number of people who joined the cryptocurrency market has been rising. Many and many people are interested in the market and come to the market. As you know, when many people come to the market without having proper knowledge, it will attract scammers.

Because Cryptocurrency transactions is decentralized and irreversible it is the best target of hackers and scammers once the fund or coins landed in their wallet no third party can fix this, it is now owned by scammers compared to Paypal which can overrule transactions done in their system.

I feel this is getting bigger, more giveaway fraud and hacking of public figure accounts. Since then I saw hacking that occurred on youtube accounts and twitter accounts of public figures who are quite influential and it really caused a lot of people losses
