Do people notice that these scam giveaways are just happening this year after the halving and many social media hacks are happening are all these planned because people are tempted to give in and fall in this scam giveaways because of the big bonus Bitcoin is now moving up and so many social media of popular people are hacked, is this coincidence or planned.
There are always scammers even though the price of the bitcoin isn't high.

I feel this is getting bigger, more giveaway fraud and hacking of public figure accounts. Since then I saw hacking that occurred on youtube accounts and twitter accounts of public figures who are quite influential and it really caused a lot of people losses
This is so true! Scammers are getting more and more sophisticated tricks that we can't know all of them. Therefore, spreading the awareness about scam through out the market is very important. One of the reasons that scammers are back to the market because the market is recovering and many people are coming back to the market. It's a good chance for scammers to take advantage of!

before the hack happen , btc price didnt grew alot that time but it did grew some several days after the incident . they are not connected . scam giveaways and hacking are always present on here .
if people want to earn they can invest safely using the traditional way and there is no need to rush things and take risk on what we see daily or on offers by some random dudes or randoms ads on the net .

The only thing that we can do to prevent the scam giveaways is to be careful. If you find or see some offers that you think it's good to be true, you need to check more news to find out if that is true or not because nothing will give by free without you do something. There is no double bitcoin if you send your bitcoin to the scammers because they will run away with your money without giving back your money. You will see so many offers saying we can help you to double your bitcoin, but the fact that it is a fake offer.

Scams and fake giveaways are happening all the time but this time twitter hack was executed over most reputed personals which may triggered people to buy bitcoin and other cryptos on their own. Or its just a coincidence that's what I believe it to be.

From then until now, scams and hacks are still here, especially in the crypto space and they will remain in the future ... But there are many ways to avoid them. First, you must have sufficient knowledge to determine if it is a scam or not. You are good if at first glance it is suspicious and will definitely be ignored. If you find out that a scam is spreading, let the public know so that others can avoid it, that way you have helped.

Seems just coincidence. There are a lot of scams in crypto universe since many years ago, it's part of the attractive crypto nature: it attracts investors, investments, a lot of money, but it also attracts scammers. What can change is the scammers' approach, as the methods used by them become dried really fast, so they have to be changing it very frequently. It can be the reason why you are seeing more scams related to giveaways nowadays, but once it gets noticed they will surely move to another tactic.

Bitcoin is on green status now so expect the number of scam giveaways to increase to take advantage people who wants to own bitcoin or crypto to join the hype.
Many scams are already existing not only in crypto. So we need to be careful when participating to these giveaways and check if this is legit.

I've done research and really the number of scammers will increase a lot right now and we need to be more careful. Also scammers will always try to spread a net and they will show false greed for it and inside of which giveaway fraud is another.

Scam giveaway has already exist since crypto was created but there will be more scammers when cryptos are in the bullish trend. You can try to see the comparison between 2017 and 2016. There was a lot of scammers compared with 2016
That's right, if you've felt in 2016 - 2017, then you certainly don't be surprised if it happens at this time. This is the same pattern. We will look forward there will be many ponzi or HYIP sites that pay with Crypto / Bitcoin. Of course their target is newcomers in Crypto world.

is this coincidence or planned.
For perpetrators of criminal acts both hackers, fraud, theft, forgery and so on, They have a group not alone, they have the task of organizing all strategies until it works. which, I know hacking is done for months not a week or two weeks, if they hack someone's Twitter account, they have mastered the phone number, tweet, password, email etc., when the account will be hacked. Usually they do that in the time leading up to achieving the peak / success as is the case with Bitcoin, they don't want to stay in the account for a long time. So, in my opinion, rampant hacking, currently carried out by people who are not responsible for the social accounts of the highest officials, was planned well in advance.

Not really just now. Even before these types of scam do exist already but this time they become wiser and more tricks have been added on their method. I think they are using even funds to trick their victims saying that some already send funds but the truth is that are also their fund using other wallet to make it looks like a real one. Most scams happened on social network like facebook, twitter and lastly youtube. If you are not aware of the Twitter incident lots of personality have been used and many got scammed.

As I can tell scam giveaways have been around since a very long time and they become triple in numbers after 2017 crypto bullrun when crypto became more attractive to Scammers, it's like you are new on here that's why you think crypto scam giveaways are new

Are you new on here mate? Scam giveaways and hacks on Twitter and other social media platforms aren't a new thing, they have been happening since years ago, we can't get rid of them but they can be avoided if you aren't greedy

We can not stop the scamers but there are many ways to avoid this. One of them might be to choose a bounty that has been listed on the exchange or pay with the top altcoin that has been around for a long time. the higher the price of bitcoin the more people want to get the benefits of crypto in the wrong way.

Scam Giveaway targeted for new people in crypto where they are not familiar with the correct giveaway system, usually a giveaway scam requires a deposit or give a PK (Private Key) from the wallet that they have which certainly requires funds in the wallet, that's why we need to continue to learn and educate people who are new in crypto. Did it happen because of the rising BTC prices? It could be because when the price up is usually also the popularity of BTC will rise.

From what I have seen during the last 3-4 years, the incidence of scamming and hacking goes up every time when there is a spike in the Bitcoin/Altcoin exchange rates. Now the prices have moved up by almost 20% during the last few days, and we need to be extra cautious. Also, look out for exchanges, some of whom are going to close down all of a sudden.
