I have noticed them but not only this time but even during the old times, there were scams countless times. They never give up and even up to now, they are still spreading their scheme throughout the cryptocurrency communities. The twitter account scam that promoted scams, I don't have updates with them but if I have to read one update from them then it should be that Twitter has already done their part to tracked the person responsible for that ruckus.

Scammers will try and try again and the bad thing is, they are growing everyday. Since a lot of people see that they can screw naive individuals without risking their identity, they found a good breeding ground to hold their operations. That is the drawback of crypto, as they can launch their projects anonymously or give rewards, promos or any giveaway without giving their true identities, they can get away without a trace. So it is only up to the user if he will be lured with these too-good-to-be-true offers.
It could be that they are the people that's hard to stop. Even the scheme is the same and they're all doing the same scam, there will be victims that will fall for them.
People should not be encouraged with those too good to be offers, they must have the sense of curiosity why those offers are giving them the benefit as good as it can be. That's how they attract victims and people who never experienced it should take caution on it.

This is an accumulation of several factors, first, bitcoin and the crypto world are increasingly popular and known to the public, so this is increasingly being used by fraudsters. Secondly, the difficult situation in the pandemic makes most people easily provoked by the lure, it cannot be denied that many things have changed including reduced salaries, narrowed employment, and many other difficulties, so many people are hoping for "miracles" like that. Third, social media has a big influence in today's life, many influential people use and communicate using social media, this has become part of the lifestyle of modern society. So when there was a case of massive hacking on Twitter some time ago it was quite horrendous, moreover, the verified accounts that were targeted, the effect, would be broader because the verified accounts were mostly influencers.

So, we should be really careful. Be sure to analyze it first. If there is a give away that requires you to make a deposit first, you should leave it immediately.

Do people notice that these scam giveaways are just happening this year after the halving and many social media hacks are happening
are all these planned because people are tempted to give in and fall in this scam giveaways because of the big bonus
Bitcoin is now moving up and so many social media of popular people are hacked, is this coincidence or planned.
Whatever happens to cryptocurrency, we shouldn't follow any scam giveaways. It will be harder to find new scam projects in the BTC bull market. Scam projects or scam giveaway are also looking for market conditions. This isn't any coincidence, when investors are higher than before, scammers are also high.

I have noticed too. Every time i open my twitter account there was 10 giveaway post i saw everyday. I have no idea that was a coincidence or pre-planed but i can say that every time something happen before btc rise up. This is not just first time i saw before scammers hack crypto influences account and scammed people. It's better idea to stay away from any kinda giveaways at this moment and enjoy the btc rising moment. Wink

I'm yet to understand why people still get deceive with giveaways. It's rather apparent that nobody wakes up to give substantial amount of money simply because you're a follower. I believe that the reason we still have persons getting deceived is simply because of greed and naivety.

I think that is because they still have a target with the new people who don't have much information about bitcoin. And they think that with the bitcoin giveaways, they can get many satoshis, so they send some amount to get more amount. But if they know that the bitcoin giveaways is not true, they will think twice to send their balance because they will use for another way to make more satoshi than to join with the giveaways.

It is very possible that there are lots of scammers around giving us businesses with good earnings especially at this time that there are many of us felt the hardness in life due to pandemic. Many got scams also because of joining investments that gives very high earnings without knowing and thinking that its scam. Like me a risktaker who will try to join HYIP hoping to earn more but now I have learned a lot from this scam experience.

This is the truth! Scammers are looking for our mistakes and fool us. Therefore, being calm and wise in this market is a need. The biggest reason why many people got fooled by scammers is that they don't have enough knowledge and experience to identify the trap! Some of them are just too greedy and want to make big profits in a short period of time. That's why they got fooled!

I also don't understand why so many people are fooled by such simple forms. They need to know that there is nothing free in this market, if you want to get money you have to work or invest in good projects.

Scamming has been happening already in the previous years and it becomes more rampant today as more people are entering the crypto market but scamming has no connection with the bullish market of bitcoin. So we should be more careful and cautious in everything we do and be more responsible in keeping safe all our assets because its always been the target if scammers.

true, fraud does not only occur when bitcoin experiences an upward movement, but fraud has been around for a long time, all we have to do is be careful if you want to invest in a new project, because fraudsters will certainly do everything they can to trap investors

I think scam giveaways have happened a lot in the past year or maybe I guessed wrong? with the rising price of Bitcoin today many people are looking for ways to get rich quick or commit fraud. the conclusion is never to be tempted by a large prize being promoted in a giveaway because it's just bullshit. of course it was not a coincidence and that's it was indeed planned by damn scammers.

No, you are not wrong. Scam giveaways still happen until now, and that trick can get many new targets because many new people don't have much knowledge about the giveaways. Those people need to learn more about giveaways, and they should search for the other news that the giveaways are fake. We need always to be careful, don't follow or join with the giveaways offer, and always check the news from another website, so we know if that is real or fake.

Even while Bitcoin was in red scammers never quit, YouTube and Twitter crypto giveaways are very common and as a matter of fact I've never participate in one before because I believe that nothing is for free, crypto is valuable, giveaways is like throwing away some money

As long as there are spreading and enjoying scam giveaways it will not stop and it will continue to grow. The only ones affected by such schemes are beginners who do not have much knowledge of the crypto world. They always rely on easy and quick income. They are lazy and do not yet know that they must first research whether they should enter what they see as an opportunity.

What is this ? I see you trying to spam nearly 20 such posts in just 2 days. Are you receiving ads from this project? If you continue spamming like that, you may be banned from posting. Be careful with this type of action

Ever since there are scammers here in the community since the nature of blockchain and wallets are decentralized these are the most hacked many scammers are making a huge profit from scamming this technology than any industry scamming alone on exchanges are enough millions of dollars, they are very active now because Bitcoin's price is increasing.

I am not so sure about that I think these scams where even Vitalik had I am not giving away eth in his Twitter profile. So it's not something new and has always been there and will continue for sometime I guess.
It's a classic scammer and it will always work for newbie and greedy people in this market. Since 2017 there have been a lot of warnings about this issue but many people are still stuck with it
