We already see the up and down price of ethereum so actually others have in doubt if this is good choice to invest. If choosing now in ethereum is the best stronger decision you will make since the price is rising so it is also good for long term. |

Saying it's the right time is really hard, It really depends on you. What are your plans after you bought it, do you want to hold it for short or long term. Maybe, engage on day trading there is so many aspects. If you wish to hodl long term I guess anytime is the right time because the future of cryptocurency is really bright just my own perspective it might not happen now but I hope in the future, but if you are a short term holder and get easily affected by FUDs, etc. goodluck with that because market now is volatile, investing into someting there is always a risk.

I'm also a small investor but I see Ethereum going to be big next year. It showed that even it's not yet into staking, there's a rise and made itself to $406.
A rapid dump, so it's your time to decide if you think this time Ethereum is a good coin to buy. Much better if you start longing.

Since you are a small investor, you should fight the right opportunity to invest or accumulate, meaning, buy ETH when the price is low and not this time. ETH might rise but you could not maximize your profit well if it will only rise up to $800, but if you have though of buying ETH when the price was $90 or 80$, then you are surely gonna enjoy a x10 return of your money. However, if you are into holding for a real long period of time, then even $400 per ETH is always a good price since it's expected that ETH will rise in the long run as the demand continues to increase especially on the DeFi projects, and provided that ETH 2.0 launch will be successful. |

I will be against the huge majority and say no. Don't invest. You have to read first. You have to find out what is this. You have to see that the update may be postponed, making the price fall (maybe shortly, maybe not). You have to see if the rise against Bitcoin is sustainable (else why not just invest into Bitcoin?). And ultimately you have to learn how the name if this coin is spelled. |

Until now, we can see the slow progress in the price of Ethereum and it depends on you if you're going to enter or not. But for me, it's quite good to enter now since the price of Ethereum is still not too high and who knows if its price will continue on increasing. The best decision you can do right now is to study its movement on the market so, you can able to set when you will gonna enter. Then for me, investing in Ethereum is a very good decision since it will have a great update which can help the price to grow more and this update is a most awaited update of all Ethereum holders.

I still think eth will probably continue to rise in demand tbh (since you need 32 to PoS). I do think also that it rose kinda fast, so maybe we could see a pullback as well?

Eth is the best alt coin for all time. Yes, this is the best coin so far i seen from the year of 2017 till now and i have seen lots of coins had ups and down with their prices, supply,trustworthiness etc. But you can just trade this all the year you want. whether the market is bullish or bearish. Eth is best for all the time. I have explained this from my personal experience where i am a very small trader.
