Hello

I have problems with ethminer just stop to mine. It is always just after putting out "Generating DAG + Light (reusing buffers): x.xx GB. The it stops. No error message or anything. Does anyone know why this might happen?

I have two riggs and it exactly the same for both. I did not find a way to include an image so i cant show you the printout before the exit. However i have 6 1080ti in one rig and 6 1080ti in the other. They are all of the same brand.

I have increased the virtual memory for both rigs. But it seems what ever i do the result is the same. It is not windows that crashes, it is the miner it self that shuts down.

Does anyone have any ideas?

/Håkan

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Hmm 1080TI have 8GB so i dont think that this is problem with increasing DAG file size in ethereum. (by any chanse
But you could try running other miners like teamredminer or phoenixminer.
also if you are using some extra parameters in etherminer you could try removing them or if you are using ohgodapill, you could try without it.
Also try lowering OC, might be the cause also.

If you will still have problems then you could just run our simplemining.net operating in which you do not need to mess with the drivers or system settings.
