So which DeFi coins should I check that has the good fundamentals and a lot of growth potential + is currently undervalued in your opinion?

I think you should check out BZRX (BZX Protocol), do research on it if it matches what you lookout for in a supposed good DEFI project. I use defimarketcap and defipulse to check ranking, but started using the DEFI section on Coinmarketcap last week. I'll strongly recommend you stick to ETH if you are more concerned about safety, since ETH is like the backbone for the aforementioned token and many more ERC20 DEFI tokens like PAY which newly joined the train.

Orion Protocol, BZRX, COMP, Oikos, Etc are all good DEFi projects, though you need to be very careful around new DeFi projects, Hypes are very much alive and surging too so be expecting scammers to take advantage of DeFi success

I think the best way here is choose a small cap project (around 3m USD is suitable with me), make your analyst and make your investment decision. But I'm not sure how long this trend will last, but it's worth the investment.

I will not suggestion a specific DeFi project also, but it is the responsibility of the OP to look at those projects and evaluate which one suits him best. But he can read these suggestions and weigh for himself the pros and cons and decide on his own.

I am not sure whether the DeFi projects are only about the hype or not, whether they will be not only popular but also worthy or not exactly. However, I do believe that ETH is a certain coin that must have. I personally will always prefer to have two options of the coins they are BTC and also ETH, with or without the existence of the DeFi projects.

DeFi projects aren't creating any fake hype, this shouldn't be compared with ICO days, DeFi projects are successful because of what they have in store, Decentralized Finance is a use case that have become useful for investors and other organizations.

Jarvis had grown so huge. its easy to have thousands of these back when its less than 2 cents but its now worth $0.14 already. its very attractive because holders are already rewarded with the 20% profit from their exchange. you still can get if you have the huge funds for investing but almost too late for someone with few to spend. the ones that keeps growing is the Synthetix Network, one wouldn't necessarily be a trader to profit from this project.

DeFi projects are now in the hype mode.
So be careful in jumping the bandwagon as it may not last long when investors realized that this is just another hype in the making.
If you want to invest, invest in the established ones like maybe Chainlink.
But it is up to you how you will invest on DeFi projects bu at least give a lil bit of research before sending your money to either one of them.

Some DeFi projects price is too much and their price can fall anytime.I should suggest you to invest in lower price DeFi project which has great potential.

Oikos is one of them.I had joined their bounty.And I had received some coin.Back then price was 0.04$ then it has increased to 0.14$.Now it is trading on 0.08$.And they have a tron version of uniswap which is called oikos swap.I think its right time to invest in Oikos(OKS).You can research about this project.
Another coin is DIA.Its price has increased so much from 0.90$ to 3$+.And they have a great team also.You can check it out.

But I would suggest you better to hold your ETH and BTC and enjoy the rally.

You guys should be vary about whats going on in the defi place right now, you are in big trouble if you keep investing towards defi and just focus on the defi itself and not something else. Right now, there are a ton of people who are scammers and see that people love the word defi and there are some idiots out there who invest into every single defi they find.

The word "defi" suddenly became "make money" to some people and those idiots are calling out for scammers as well, which is why I believe there is some trouble going on with the defi world, there are scammers and idiots amongst the decent people which will cause the market to collapse one day when a scammer who will disguise as a decent place will run away with tens of millions of dollars, even more.
