Just taking a quick glance at the website and I can already see many red flags. They misspelled the names of several cryptocurrencies and doing a reverse image search on the client testimonials photos leads to stock images.

This is also a quote from their website which is absolute gibberish:
Quote

Based on the results of my investigation, I believe that coinkast.io is an exchange scam. And you should try reporting it to the police
in your country of residence. Even though your money back opportunity is very small, because in the online world it is very difficult to
return lost money. Make it a lesson not to use unpopular exchanges.

So basically, you are sending more money to the scammers who scammed your money but they are still demanding more and you're still sending more money to them without having a second thought on why you are sending more even though they are obviously trying to just keep it.

The best approach that you could do is to report it to the authority. Nothing else you could do there.

Unfortunately, the chance of recovering OP's money is really slim. By reporting this
to authorities, it will help to lessen
new victims being trapped to this investment, Ponzi scam. It's a huge money if the
story of OP is for real but he will learn things
in such a hard way. Having this experience will definitely alarm more people to always
do research before investing your money.
There are lots of money-making scheme that investors need to review before starting to invest
their money.

If you have been asked to pay as you withdraw, you should have never listened to them. But I understand that you are in a desperate situation and you just want to withdraw your money.

Report this to the police cyber division if you have in your country, they can give you better suggestion how to sue the exchange.

I have not heard of that platform before but the chance of getting back your coin is very slim this is because of the technology and other services that make it less difficult for scammers to sell stolen funds. However, depending on the country you are located. You can report your scam details plus other information to Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) www.consumer.ftc.gov/. This will be documented and investigation will be conducted with the aim of getting back stolen funds

You have made a great loss in bitcoin. Much worst because it is from getting scam. Bitcoin transactions are irreversible. There is no easy way to undo the transaction and get your money back unless you know already the scammer and report it to the proper authority.

As I had made here an advise try to search the btc addreas here and see if the owner of that btc address is a member here. There is a high chance that you can initially trace that scammer.

Do you know of any resources to help victims of crypto scams recover their losses?

I was a victim of one made by coinkast.io where they had me pay more money to release my funds and then they kept adding additional fees... so basically I lost $100k+ and I need to recover it someone especially since much of that were loans I took out.

Any help or links to agencies that can help would be appreciated...

Thank you in advance
Not familiar with the website, but it is really suspicious,

You should suspect them at the beginning when they had you to pay more money to release your funds, this is something that you shouldn't have done. It is actually one of the known tricks of scammers to get more funds from their victims. And, unfortunately, there are no resources or any other ways to recover your losses, once the scammer get your money into their hands, there is no taking it back.

And there we go, the famous recovery nonsense ready to scam you even more. Nice story though, I wonder what a virus would do once inside a bitcoin wallet.

OP (and anyone bothering to read this): Don't fall for this shit (again)..

Sooner or later you're going to realize, just as I did, that there's a difference between knowing the path and walking the path

I think that is the biggest mistake you have ever done because the scammer keeps asking for your money and you keep with to continue giving it to the damn scammer. why did you not think beforehand if it was just a scammer's plan to fool you, there is nothing you can do for now except be more careful in investing or trading in next time.

I am sorry for your loss but it is unrecoverable.

At first you should've been able to check or verify those sites as scams are so familiar and common in this community. What you can just do now is to educate and tell this to other people like what you did so the possible victims of these kinds of sites would stop. Hope you didn't stop investing instead learn from this.

I don't think it's easy to report it to the police because a case like this does not mean that the police understand and there is a digital law there, but it depends on the country where it is located. even if this case can be reported to the police, it will not be guaranteed that the money has been fully returned and will only make it difficult to provide a clear explanation to the police. so the point is better to be patient and sincere and take lessons about cases like this.

Crypto scammed funds are hard to recover and it may be difficult to get back your money but it's worth to try and rather be sorry about it.  Hoping for your endeavor will be solved whatever means necessary to get your funds back. Nevertheless, stay away from that kind of scheme because they will just cash you out as they could and that time your smell fishy about fee, then it's the best time to stop sending funds to them.

Who brought you to that exchange?

The story keeps repeating over and over. That kind of scam had been around for years, its like your funds are being held for ransom but they got everything from you. Too bad you can't easily get those back. This is why I don't trust websites with clients testimonials to it because it's there for the purpose of bewitching unsuspecting users.

That's what I'm talking about, they are being victimized by the same schemes which they reported that those scammers are using.

It got me so upset that although there are threads here that will help them become knowledgeable about those scams, still they don't read it.

Blame yourself if you get scammed but make sure that you will never repeat it and you will learn from it. Once you got scammed, there's no way that you can recover the losses that you've done. Scammers will never give back the money that you gave them due to your ignorance about their strategies.

You cannot recover the money that you lost and there is no body able to help you and it is wrong to send more money to the fraudsters so you should forget about that money and start a new business and avoid the fraudsters because they will continue to exploit you and steal your money

You can make a complaint in your local and that is all you can do, because you spend money on the internet and you know it is impossible to track down the scammers even with the fiat money so you need to accept the losses. And it is your ignorance that you send the additional funds to recover the previous lost money. Sad

Here is another asshole @anderson_abade_ bitcoin scam artist. He claims his company can recover scammed funds through contacts he has on the dark web for a fee. He is a pathological liar. His whatsapp is 1 (209) 314-0311. Spread the word and spam the fuck out of this prick.

Since the crypto currency is still not yet legalized around the world then other countries are not yet launching a cyber crime law about crypto currency so if your country doesn't yet legalized the crypto currency then you still have no rights with it and all you need to do is to make sure that your crypto coins are safe or else you will lose it anytime that may come. There are some sites that is helping all the victim of crypto scamming but it will be having a hard time to retrieve your coin.

This guy has started his own service providing support on recovery of stolen Bitcoins. Probably from the gmail he has posted for contact purpose it is clear that the guy has started his service once after looking after this thread. Even he might get few users out of this forum to recover his funds. Right now he hasn't charged anything in the public forum. When someone contacts he'll start his fee.
