Will $XRP be safe for long term?

 It  would be horrible for long term, XRP is a coin that managed to convince people that it is actually a good one, when you can convince enough people that you are a good one, the price goes up and you suddenly become a huge ranked coin, obviously most of the coins that is listed on the market cap is locked away and owned by the creators, so the ranking is a total BS because it is not true, market has less than the claimed amount which makes it go up but then XRP creators say "there is trillions more!!" or whatever and make it look like it is high. Obviously creators have insane control over it as well, they could sell hundred million XRP in an hour if they want to in all XRP markets and crash it and take all your money too, nothing you can do to stop them. So all in all, it is a horrible one that you should stay away from.

According to the Quarter Report Ripple company increased sales of XRP token to institutional investors from $1.75 mln to $32.55 mln.

Last month XRP looks alive as price increased by 60%. And firstly reached the mark of $0.30 since since February. However we have the Sentiment company data showing the decreasing of the average daily trading volume, more than $100 mln.

honestly apart from bitcoin it seems very risky if you hold alt coins for long-term investments, let alone trying to make XRP a long-term asset of course that's not the right step, we can see how now Xrp's popularity continues to decline over time, and this indicates that xrp is not a good investment asset in my opinion personally, and that is my reason for not trying at all to invest in alt coin xrp because it will only be waste time and money that I have right now, my advice is better to make bitcoin a long-term asset and alt coin as an asset short term because it will be very profitable for us traders.

Don't get too attached to it. XRP is a promising coin with several institutional investors, their features such as low tx fees and quite fast, they have real potential to be one of the payment gateways. But remember, they are centralized and one wrong move from one of its big shareholders, will affect its market value. I like XRP for transfer purposes and as a means of payment method but what I am worried is the people handling this project.

That can't be denied, investment risk is present at all times, not matter what kind of field is that. Bigger lost can be experienced once you holdings didn't meet a certain goals for the future gross of your profit, xrp need to grow as long as there's a huge community that supports. Doing buy and sell can be easy, once you found out a benchmark on specific fluctuations that leads to rapid increase; relative index is very important.

Except the scam projects, not all projects makes a ton of money for the project owners. The centralized altcoins such as XRP will not gain the value as the decentralized altcoins due to the obvious reasons. The future vision is important, ignoring the requirements of the future projects will cost a money&time. Obviously, after 10 years it is questionable XRP will be there or not.

You make a good point but in 10 years time I don't see the community support centralized coins and the only change I believe will occur is the centralized of more exchange and crypto payment site cause crypto will be moving to the edge of mainstream and more AML will be implemented by the government.

That's the point, centralized coins have the goal to make rich a certain number of people, while decentralizes coins give the same chances for all.

The thing that i don't like about XRP is the amount of them. We don't really know how many ripples are there, but we know the owners are holding some enormous amounts with the idea of sending them to markets at some point.  And that's a nasty market manipulation from my point of view.

XRP has banks involved in it (so many big names that even they will not reveal) and it is not wrong to say that banks have also integrated XRP and it is due to the cause that XRP remains stable. Safe for long term? If you are looking for an interest rate that you get from banks, XRP can be considered but too much profits are not possible because they need to keep XRP stabilized to be in it themselves.

It is true why nowadays people prefer decentralized coins to centralized coins like XRP, because decentralized coins provide equal
opportunities to everyone. And most importantly, decentralization of coins provides freedom for holders to manage their own finances.
So it is only natural that there are many negative posts related to XRP, but still, but still despite the many shortcomings of XRP as
a centralized coin, I think XRP as a top altcoins is indeed quite safe as a long-term investment.

There is no guarantee in the crypto industry, if the XRP team decides to sell off the team funds the price will find another dip point. The last price fall was not meaningless, the team is able to organize the situation which is not in favor of investors. The partnership news and other rumors only serve as a meal for crpyot influencers and I am afraid this news has no effect in overall market performance.

Compared to 2017-2018 XRP prices in 2020 are very cheap, in my opinion this is good to buy and hold for a long time,
but remember!, investing in cryptocurrencies could be the opposite, you might lose,

It has already mentioned by so many influencers in the cryptocurrency if the bank was only interesting to use the ripple tech and no more, the banks have clearly stated that if they never feel interested with the ripple coin.

I never expect the pump to happen for XRP.
The bank was also trying to take the advantage from the existence of the ripple protocol. I think that so many ripple hoders aware about this too.
Ripple is only working for the bank and it's not dedicated for the community that has been making the platform become the major platforms.
