Yup! I'm realistic here to see ethereum price around $1000 end of this year. I just do not see that kind of progressive increase in volume as we make assumption such big amount. BTC price movements always play a big role to influence altcoins market, here things are correlate.

I am analyser of the crypto market and this time BTC will make a great pump but i hope that the ETH will also go so much up this year and soon all the ALT coins will go up in the market.

ETH will never take even 1000 this year and even Bitcoin won't give any assurance of good result in our days now.

Of course everyone hopes that if BTC and ETH reach a high enough price this year, but it looks like there is no strong impetus factor for now BTC and ETH will be able to reach the price that the OP expected, logically it is likely that ETH price will only reach the level highs around $450 to $500 alone maybe the price will be less than $450 by the end of 2020, but that is just my opinion and I hope that my opinion will be wronged because honestly if I also hope ETH and other alt coins can reach the highest price like last 2017.

   And reality knocks on the door with this sudden drop! We can leave in the dreams, but when we wake up we need
to make decisions and to stick with them if we are true believers. Nobody sane can think that Ethereum can rise
that much, and if someone dreamed about that I hope this drop didn't crush your dreams.
   Every successful story needs time for developing, I am with Ethereum until the end. And I believe in high prices,
but I am aware that I will need to wait few more years before I see what I want.

I agree with your thoughts because it looks like the price of eth $1000 at the end of 2020, is a fairly reasonable price rather than expecting $10,000, of course many factors will be able to push eth prices to be able to increase prices and one  if  launch of eth 2.0 is carried out in year this will of course push eth prices up to $1000 or more, but in my opinion, no matter how much encouragement for eth is it is highly unlikely that the price will ever reach the $10,000 as the current OP is expecting.

I also want to say that it's impossible but with this very volatile market, everything can happen but it takes time.

As I've said, there's much more to look at rather with the huge price speculations of different people of what they think about Ethereum. I'm an Ethereum holder and I only look at the realistic prices.

I want to see it someday hit those prices someday but can't be sure if I'm still with it.
