I don't think there's one of these yet so I thought I'd make one, feel free to reply here or my other thread with suggestions and comments.

Timelord2067 made a thread which can be accessed here which suggests some lightning relevant information - services, node owners and wallets to name a few.

If you want your node to be listed, post here (with @jackg so a bot picks it up) and send me a pm here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=543626

I don't imagine to get many nodes at the start but hopefully we can watch this grow and have trusted members to hold channels with - in case of attacks on the network.

When submitting a node, please use the format
Code:
Username:
Node URI:
Link to your post:
Link to an archive of your post:
I don't expect to intially make people sign an address but if you want to verify it's you then I'll add a nenw column.

Reserved.

Also open to the option of adding a banner for any service supporting the ln but using it or actively contributing to it - free for a few days as I'd like to keep rotating.

Also if you have a static IP address and want: your node id@yourname.lightning.ninja instead of your node id@your.ip.address
PM me with what you want and your IP and I will set it up.

I'll do this when I have free time, so there *will* be delays in getting it done. Which is why you should have static IP if you do this, otherwise stuff could be pointed to the wrong address till I have time to update it.

You should speak with BitcoinFX he is hosting a number of tor nodes for bitcoin I think it would be good to have 2 list's here one for the tor nodes and one for clearnet nodes.

I am sure he would like to contribute and he's a very long standing member in the community.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5177001.0

Will give him a heads up about the topic this will be a very useful topic!

Yeah I'll send him a pm and see if he wants to be added. The separate list for tor nodes sounds like a good idea too, thanks!

I have a node that has been running for a long, long time... The hardware on my dedicated server is getting quite old, so i have no idear if it'll be online for the years to come, but for now, here it is Smiley
The thing is: i never publicly posted an announcement for this node, so i don't have a link to a post where this node was announced...

I have no idear if this would be a problem, so i signed the application with my staked address just to be sure Smiley

Thanks, thought I'd quote this as a reference. I wasn't requiring a signature but I might add an extra not somewhere.

Also I put in the full link rather than your node ID I assumed that's more helpful if your ip address changes.

I started making a list you are welcome to either reference or copy which can be found over yonder: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5206115.msg53238766#msg53238766 (not just users' but other sites etc)

(and I didn't say it's a big list either)

Thanks for the suggestion, I've added it.

I sent you a bb code fix that should work but I broke the pm so you'll have to click quote and copy it from within.

I already have DaveF also, I think that was the one you've got so far - redundancy is never useless when it comes to security so if you want me to mention when someone gets added to add it to your thread (or bump the thread) I can try to remember Smiley.

If anyone wants to open a connection with me, here is my LN address over TOR. I have more than 0.3 BTC outgoing capacity, with up to 0.15 in a single channel.

Nickname: odolvlobo-02608b
02608bd929f9ffd9997d6ad8e03df49b82f2b02515c885780c3f4d87cc6b0a3081@pzsmiuf6dv5jjugmx5dvdpljf6lpwk7necezis7eafrjmjxia7s6b6id.onion:9735

Thanks I've added it!

I'll sort the reference tomorrow, I might have got your username wrong as I couldn't copy and paste..
That's a lot of capacity for a node also!

Unfortunately, I'm stuck with clear links on my PC and my mobile phone otherwise I'd connect to more.  (I also suspect some of the nodes I've linked to in the past have gone dark which is why I can no longer connect to them).

This is my c-lightning node running, for others to connect:

If everything is fine, it should be up and running 24/7. Maybe some downtime due to the fact that I'm new to lightning network and I'll still learning and experimenting. So, many times, I need to change configs, restart the node etc.

I'm running the node behind Tor so, to connect to it, you need:

Code:
User: darkv0rt3x
Node ID: 03fef777d58a529df02a3fb267690e0c9033767b555cc1c63844bb2d3498789f91
Onion address: 7ibyhyji5g5vsvf5e42bpygcp6jpyvm3zovoujt66onfkn3xuc5iceqd.onion

For everyone but achow and darkv0rt3x (I've managed to successfully open a small channel with both of these).

As a bit of a bump and a question have you guys updated your addresses of your nodes or are they offline? I'm fine leaving them there if they'll be online intermittently but it might be worth marking them as such.

My node is online right now.
I have 3 channels open.

@jackg, can you try to connect to my node again to check what I see in logs, please?

I just tried to open one and I got an error saying the remote peer doesn't support multiple channels?

I don't *think* this is on my end but it could be.
