SyGambler, I have not followed your topic very well. If you have not created a flag yet then I will suggest creating one buddy. I will be the one to support it. In fact, I believe there will be a lot of users who will support the flag.

it's easy to create a flag but I just don't want to create a random flag , I mentioned it in my thread that I don't have any screenshots from my account and I don't even remember the exact balance with them
also I have no access to the transactions that were made at that time so I don't think the flag will do any good with no evidence from my account

1xBit stole me 0.5 BTC!!!

I was customer there for some months...its my first and only Account there and everything worked fine for months ( smaller deposits and withdraws possible without any problem).
Then I made deposit of 223 MBTC and had a good run up to 563 MBTC.  Account got limited and I couldnt place any more bets so I made a withdraw request of the full amount. They declined it and said that my Account is under investigation. On the next day they told me that I made violation against the rules ( didnt want to tell me which rule I broke!) and I am only allowed to withdraw the ''deposit Sum of 63mbtc'' ( But made deposit of223 mbtc) and  THEY VOIDED all my bets and STOLE 500 ( fivehundred!!!!) MBTC !!!!

Always asked why and which rules I broke but everything they wrote to me the whole time was:
''You can withdraw the deposit sum only''

Hello Guys, all we know that 1xbit has started a signature campaign and later they stop the campaign due to people don't want to see any signature campaign/promotion in this forum before solving all the past issues. But I see today there is a banner campaign running for 1xbit.com . (though I can not find any post in the Theymos Auctions threads by 1xbit_official) So what do you think about this? Since there is a banner campaign running means they are still promoting them in this forum. Just want to know community opinions.

I'd say they are in the clear zone if theymos accepted their ads. We know theymos wouldn't accept money from the scam projects.

Are you serious?
There are hundreds of complains against this sportsbook in online betting communities as I saw the last days...

Looks like treating good players very bad/ banning them and let the bad players/ gambling addicted people lose all their money.

I am aware of the scam accusations on them. It is just, theymos seems to not care. I am not the one getting paid by them. Don't get mad at me. Ask theymos about it if you want an explanation.

edit:

Think like this:

If theymos has no problems with promoting 1xbit's ads, why should the forum users have? With this move, 1xbit is now cleared by theymos.

received an meaningsless answer now after 3 days:

''our security re-investigated your case, and they are sure that rules were violated. Arbitrage betting doesn't require to have an account on the same bookmaker. That means, for example, if you bet on the same event in two different bookies - you might get banned.  ''

- 1xbit is a bookmaker(scam) that is offering lower/ matches that nearly no other sportsbook is offering, so nearly no chance to bet against this matches anywhere

- I nearly only place livebets with fast results and fast changing odds, so have to bet against this live?

- I am PUNTER, no arbitrage bettor

- I am from germany, here you have to pay 5% tax on every bet you place !!! ( except bitcoin bookmakers) so how to stake against yourself with paying 5% double times?

- You DONT HAVE ANY evidence/proof of making arbitrage bets!

- so if you say I bet against my own bets that should mean that I should have lost 500 mbtc ( or similar value amount in EUR = 5000€ ) in other sportsbook??? Lost 5000 EURO Huh to win 500 mbtc in your book?

show me any proof of BET ID'S where you think that I made arbitrage betting and why you think!

It's pretty strange to see that while our forum police is spending countless hours on less important stuff, nobody cares about 1xbit being promoted via banner advertising here on bitcointalk. Yeah, we all knew their ads are everywhere all over the internet, including big crypto sites such as CMC etc. but - I didn't think this day would come so early - bitcointalk administration granting them advertising space.

Long story short: You are right then, we should remove all flags and negative feedbacks? If they can buy advertising directly on bitcointalk, so should they elsewhere, no? I mean that when I say you are absolutely right - this is a mess...

@1xbit I have just sent a PM - please check and get back if you are serious about it.

In the mean time all I can say is... proposing to have a look at various cases posted by users here on bitcointalk and then bringing up such generic responses (arbitrage bs etc.) with NO evidence at all - that's actually worse since you try to act as if you were willing to regain trust while not a single user has been helped - pretty unrealistic each and every case was made up and you guys were in the right, no? Well, that's not gonna do it, it's not good enough.

The fact that they are running a paid ad on the forum does not mean flags should be removed. Advertised signatures comes with the message;  Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction. Advertise here

Forum ad is not a recommendation that a site is trustworthy, building a regulated scam system would be an irksome task and there is no guarantee that scam projects would not seep through the filter, this could give members a false sense of security, that every advertised site is trustworthy.

Of course I know that (what you wrote) and I partly agree - on the other hand, I highly doubt this is ethical and also - even though there is of course the disclaimer you just mentioned, I am pretty sure I have seen theymos' posts stating he will not accept "shady" offers. I like to think the disclaimer is aimed more towards less known brands/projects - we are talking about 1xbit here...

After all - this doesn't make sense, does it? So I can promote any scam (accept their generous offer/cash) and just have a little note that people should do their own research and then this is okay? Cool - I should rethink 1xbit's offer then! ...

@efialtis:

thanks for your words, youre totally right and I agree 100%

Blocked due arbitrage betting is the most hilarous/stupid/senseless reason a bookmaker like 1xBit can bring to bann somebodies account due to the small limits and the risk of voiding bets you have there/ hear from everywhere. And as I already said, I am from germany, I have to pay 5% tax on turnover every bet due to laws and I placed 80-90% bets there that no other sportsbook is offering. So where should I lay my 1xbit bet to make arbitrage? At Fantasybet?

It's like ''when I am at my wit's end'' and the user/member didnt break any rule and is 100% legal on our site but we dont want to pay him, let us say the is doing arbitrage bets. Just a joke!

Then why is there a problem when users promote yobit and 1xbit but not any when theymos does it?

The same rule should apply to all forum users then.

"It is only business, nothing personal."

*Btw banning for arbitrage betting is indeed stupid. How do they even know about your bets on other casinos?

Agreed. I was actually replying to the bit about others removing their negative feedbacks on 1xbit profile. Whatever opinion theymos may have of 1xbit should not influence that of others. I personally doubt the admin would knowingly allow a scam to be advertised, but in the case that happens, it doesn't reflect the stance of the forum.
There's a thread in meta regarding this issue, let's see what action would be taken.
Edit: admin's reply - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5271782.msg55079759#msg55079759

Removed. A service with this reputation should not have been allowed to advertise, but because the bidder was fairly established and had no negative trust, I didn't do enough research, and I missed the scam accusations and the other account. Apologies.

It's best to PM me high-priority things like this, since I notice PMs more quickly than Meta posts with vague titles.

I will donate the 0.08 BTC from this to some charity or charity-like-thing which accepts BTC. Any suggestions for a particular charity? (If there's no consensus in about a week, then I'm just going to donate it to The Water Project.)

Great news. So theymos indeed cares about the ad giver's reputation despite what the message say "Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction. Advertise here"

Hahaha and the most stupid answer is coming now after waiting for 1 week:

1xbit_official: ''Hi Blogab, my apologies for the silence in chat.

as i see you already made some kind of research and found a reason why your account could have been blocked due.

That could be enough for our security, and I'm afraid I can't do much about it.''

I didnt write him about any illegal activity / activity against any rules.

wow thats a big shame!
