This is a very broad question and no one can suggest which are the good coins and which are bad ones in 2020. If you want to invest in the coins, you should diversify your portfolio. Diversify does not mean that you invest in few coins, it means that you invest in both the small caps and big caps coins. As you know the altcoin market dose not move at once. Sometime the big caps coin move and other times the small cap ones pump, so if you have both in your port folio, this will help you gain more profit.

I mean surely you could find some "bad" coins, they are the ones at the very bottom and left out to die, there is no project owner, there is no team, they are just there dying a slow death, or could be even considered dead at that point, would you say onetoken or whatever that scam was alive? It is definitely a bad coin/token or whatever it was, purely a scam. So that is how you find bad ones.

Best ones are questionable because it depends on what you mean by best and to who, if you are a rich person who wants less risk bitcoin is better or at least ethereum, if you are poorer and want higher earner you have to check top 50 instead of top 5 or so. This year I’m staying clear from cryptocurrencies that has small market caps and weak communities. I think this is the best thing to do, it’s best to stay clear from them and go with the ones with big market cap just like BTC. As for coins I think are going to be very good this year 2020, and not just this year, but the coming years, I will start with Litecoin.

LTC is among the top five coins you will see in Coinbase and it has been growing this year, it’s currently around $60. LTC is one of the old coins that are still doing good around this time, when so many of the old coins are already dead.
