Gate.io exchange requires a KYC to do a withdrawal. Some sources state that there is a daily withdrawal limit for non-verified users.
Is this true and if so what is this day withdrawal limit? I am not registered there yet and could not find any helpful information at the exchange page.

I read this topic and all post Gate.io now requires KYC? seems all user are required KYC for withdrawing. I think, no exception for non verified user.

You cant withdraw your funds without KYC I think this method in their site is already implemented way before the exchange started its operation.

No it's not true. I can't also find sources stated that it's possible.
According to this official article from gate.io about identity verification and kyc procedures updated last April, withdrawals are not permitted without proceeding through KYC1 verification:

2. Is Identity Verification (KYC) mandatory for deposit ?
You can deposit while preparing for Identity verification, but please make sure you have finished it before withdrawing.

Falagged withdrawals are subjects for another KYC level called KYC2, and if you have a pending withdrawal submitted before you verify your identity, you have to go through both levels of KYC. Here the proof from the same article:

The processing time of KYC or identity verification may be half an hour to 12 hours.
Please note, if you have any withdrawal in verification status(KYC required), you have to go through both KYC 1 & KYC2.

To truly confirm this (even it's already clear on Withdrawal FAQ), I've talked with the live support there.

Yes, KYC is 100% mandatory before anyone can Withdraw. The enhanced tier is for increasing limits.

Minimum amount to withdraw can be seen in the Withdrawal Page (e.g BTC = BTC0.0105).
