This doesn't make any sense whatsoever. The rules clearly state that only 5 posts out of 25 posts per week need to be in the gambling section. 1 of these 5 posts can be in the gambling discussion section as you mentioned.

All campaigns usually follow similar rules which is why posting in the gambling discussion section was never really an issue. There is no rule explicitly stating that only certain number of posts are allowed in the gambling discussion section anywhere. Disappointed!

How exactly is it clear? You are reiterating the same thing. There should have been a rule saying that 1 out of the 25 required posts can be in the gambling discussion section.

I think you need to reread the rules bud. It clearly states only 1 post per week will count in gambling discussion. 100% clear.

Another matter it is not what you would normally expect from a casino signature campaign, and in that I agree with you. That's why I felt it would be better to clarify this point further and asked just that. Here's the reply

It's pretty easy to understand, 4 posts per week must be in the section labeled Gambling, not gambling discussion or games & Rounds. You can make all 5 in the gambling section, but I will allow 1 post to be counted from the Gambling Discussion board.

only 1 post in gambling discussion will count period. I find the section just a spam haven but users like to post prediction crap in there or talk about sports so I'll allow 1 post.

I have clearly understand what Yahoo means in those posts though i am not part of the campaign . hope you'll find it right as well. since there might be another week coming for this campaign.

You were only getting 1 post counted from that section though. Its a spammers haven. Most gamblers are in the actual gambling section IMO.

Isn't it what you have said is just the same as the rule itself? You have stated that there should be 1 out of 25 post can be in the gambling discussion, which is the same as exactly what yahoo said that only 1 post will be counted from the gambling discussion board.

I think the rule is not clear for you, maybe next time, you should ask for clarifications before doing the job.

I did have a slight problem and at the same time I asked the manager for it and he did explain it to me , just so that it will be clear for everyone here too.

I am one of the participants who did not qualify for this week.

Honestly, my understanding on the rules is the same with Haunebu, as in the past campaigns I have participated, it's usually at least 5 posts in gambling section (could be coming from gambling board and/or gambling discussion board) so at least means the minimum, and if I make 10 posts on that section, that would make me qualify for the gambling section posts requirement which is at least 5 and all my 10 posts will be credited towards the minimum of 25 posts requirement in a week.


The specific rule below is quite confusing to me, as in my understanding using my common sense, if it's only 1 is counted in gambling discussion board, then only 4 should also be counted in gambling board, and I saw there are posters who made over 4 posts in this board, yet all posts are considered qualified.

That is, even if only 5 posts at max were counted in the Gambling board? Proceeding from your own assumption, you should have made 4-5 posts in Gambling and 1 post in Gambling Discussion (i.e. 5 in total to be counted)

Confirming I got my payment.
Problem is that people are not reading the rules, so no point complaining to manager and his rules.
If you don't like the rules , you can look for other campaign.
However I do think posts in gambling discussion could be increased from 1 to maybe 2 or 3.

You don't get my point, I was thinking that at least 5 is the minimum posts required that should be coming from gambling board (4) and gambling discussion board (1),  but you can make 25 posts combine from that section and you'll qualify to both 5 minimum and 25 minimum total posts a week.

Now, if we look at the opposite side which is the maximum, it should be maximum of 1 gambling discussion board and 4 gambling board, and if I make 25 posts  combine from that section, my total posts credited would only be 5 which I will pass on the minimum 5 but will not meet the total posts requirement for the week. So this is the example I cited since there are members who made over 4 posts in gambling board but the excess of 4 is still counted towards the 25 posts requirement, which I think it should not be based on the rules.

Jut to clarify, I am not complaining here, I am just expressing my honest understanding on the rules which confused some of the participants, and like I said in my previous post, I respect the manager's decision.

That is, everyone participating in any signature campaign should be closely following their campaign thread, and keep a weather eye on what the boss has to say there. This specific rule has been explained twice by the campaign manager in the thread, so even if it is against the "common sense", i.e. what is assumed by most (I assumed that too, just in case), any confusion and misunderstanding should have been dispelled

The above rule was posted in the thread from day 1. How hard is it to understand 1 post per week will count in gambling discussion? Also, when you are in a campaign it is your responsibility to keep an eye on the campaign thread and see if any updates have been posted , or replies which might clarify a rule for those who asked questions. Better yet, maybe PM the manager if you have a question about the rules.

Instead, you browsed the rules quickly or assumed this campaigns rules were the same as all other campaigns. You're at fault here for not keeping up with your job and doing it correctly. Be a man and accept responsibility for your mistakes.

I qualified for the payment this week. Though, honestly, the rule was a little ambiguous for me. I didn't risk posting on gambling discussion just to be on the safe side.

Since it was not mentioned that posts on the Gambling discussion will not count, the phrase only 1 post per week will count in gambling discussion made a lot of people assume this only applies for the required 5 posts on the campaign not on the 25 posts requirement as a whole.

You don't really understand the rules in this campaign, every manager has different rules including in the Gamdom campaign and usually if the price is high then the rules are stricter, you have to understand that in my opinion what is explained by yahoo62278 is very clear. The proof is that many receive payments in the first week.

Be smart in understanding rules, don't compare the rules with other campaigns, each manager has his own perception.

Just saw the spreadsheet and imo yahoo is bit generous. There are some participants who actually didn't deserve the payment which they were less of 1-2 qualified post but he decided to appreciate their effort by paying half. And yeah, keeping an eye on your campaign thread is a must, and the rule is written there. I was bit confused too at the first day of enrollment but when deisik asked to make sure about that rule yahoo has answered it clearly. But I still appreciate that you are stating your opinion using your own account. I think it could be a lesson for everyone.
