As a newbie, mostly people prefer holding.

You don't need to be so knowledgeable to be able to hold, still you need it to identify which cryptocurrency you will be holding. It takes time and though as I said it don't require as much as knowledge, it requires a lot of patience. Maybe take those time to learn the price movements, learn some indicators that might help you trade in the future.

I think both of them are good to choose, but for myself, I prefer to keep a good project for holding. I don't have much free time to trade even though entering the market has a low leverage value, it's just that if I trade it will cause problems with my time management for now. If in my opinion, do it according to the skills you have and you like to do it because it adds enthusiasm to doing something, and increases positive energy in life.

To me, both trading of tokens and hodling of tokens are both good options, what matters is your area of expertise. What are you good at doing? If trading works for you, stick to it; if hodling is your stronghold, stand by it

Because to trade, you need to learn basics and even expertise a strategy tp enjoy trading, but to hodl also, you must understand when to hodl, duration etc

Hold and trade is the best option,if you are looking for short term gains then you can go for futures but its not for everyone.Holding until the market is getting increase then sell it for profits os more simple and works for bitcoin and also if you are holding for years the returns will be unexpected.

Holding project tokens with good prospect pays on a long-term basis, although this can be disastrous as the project can equally fold up. But, finding a good project with holding on a long-term will bring the profit needed.

When you invest in technology you need to wait before it gets fully developed,
that takes time, but as they're bigger and better that technology will be more valuable,
and profit will come. I am more for holding as well, for long-term.

Trust me there is nothing in this world like HODL. One person said it and others are just following it because it sounds cool. It's alway buy and hold. HODL can be termed generally for securities you have held for more than 20-25 odd years. Here people have held bitcoin for no more than 3-4 years and talk about HODLing. Hodling is done due to two reasons one is when you realise your inability to trade or the second one is you make a fundamental choice to invest based on intrinsic value. In both the cases there is no comparison with trading. A person who trust his fundamentals would not sell anything. But problem with Bitcoin's fundamental is that it's valuation is impossible which is why you just hold and hold and don't know when to sell. This is a bizarre strategy as it looks good in sideways market but if market trends against you, you just look like an idiot and you can't deny that bitcoin is too damn volatile.

And for the people who say invest in technology and everything just for once go in a room alone and think of Bitcoin's technology yes it's excellent it's Innovative it's secure. But does bitcoin has such a great technology that it's worth it's current market cap? there a re a few companies developing blockchain prodcuts which might be worth but solely bitcoin?? Which so far isn't even legalized properly? This is the sole reason why traditional investors don't like bitcoin.

Remember we are comparing it with World's greatest technologies. This price is too high for a currency with any innovative technology.

It depends upon the situation but for me I will go for short trading only, I will not hold or keep good coins because  I am afraid to feel FOMO. As long as I have my profit, I will sell the coins which I bought from low price. Keeping the coins very long can also make you lose your money especially if that coins leaved by the developer and getting dump in the market and you did not monitor the updates of the coins you hold.

Bitcoin is a very popular currency in the crypto market. Bitcoin is a very good option to hold while the prices of other currencies have fallen the price of Bitcoin has not dropped much. Even if it goes down it can go up again and make more profit. You are right that holding is good and Ethereum is a very good currency besides Bitcoin. The risk is much lower to hold even if you have enough knowledge to trade you are at risk.

Yeah, Bitcoin and Ethereum is the Best coin to hold for the long term choice and rest are shitcoins so do invest or trade at your risk. Hodl as much as you can now. I’m holding a bit long and hopefully market will see some positive price action soon.

I do agree that it should be the case if you are just starting but the longer time you are here, you should also learn how to read the price chart, maybe learn some indicators that could help you to trade. You can't just rely on what you know, you should try to learn other things that could give you more profit in the future and that means it shouldn't be just investing.
