Honestly, bounty campaign isn't a waste of time if you know the right bounty to take part in. I've seen friends who earn from bounties here.
And so far this forum is meant for different purposes, some can register for a purpose and focus on it. So far it's not forbidden on the  forum. It depends on one's way of life.
And  the way you think bounty program is, is not what it really is. It's a way to promote a project with good and quality posts and comments. And earn with it.
When you post a good post and a user see the sticker or signature of the project you use. Your post can actually take their attention.

The most expensive income on the forum is that being here you acquire knowledge about Crypto. Money comes and goes, but knowledge is always accumulating. Based on this, you need to be more responsible for the forum. Knowledge is values that can bring much greater benefits in the future than simple bounties, which are mostly scams.
Many have gone through your attitude towards the forum, but many have changed their thinking. I hope that the correct understanding of the meaning of making money on the forum will come to you.

My main aim on bitcointalk.org is to be Member whom other forum member will archive knowledge from and in that making you get paid through hard works like promoting bounty Campaign projects. I guess many who quickly join only get inspired of the money other members make out from Bitcointalk. But trust me that's not it Bitcointalk has saved lots of forum members as in it has become a huge eye opener to many crypto enthusiast today.

With a mindset like this you should get very far on this forum. Everyone started somewhere and if your goal is to learn more about crypto currencies rather than only make money, you will likely be around in the years to come. People who only join this forum to make a few bucks and are not fully interested in cryptos usually disappear after 3-6 months. With bitcoin prices as high as they are today the chances of earning a high return are not so lucrative anymore as they were 5 years. Just stick around and good things will happen.

I joined the forum last April 18, 2016, and I have no idea about earning in the forum, my purpose was just to know more about crypto and to learn how to gamble using bitcoin, that was the main purpose that time. However, I'm thankful that I have discovered a lot of earning opportunity in this forum or through this forum, so I am here staying because I love the community here and I have high respect on them.

I would say that bitcoin changes my life, and I owe that in this forum as it helps me discover a lot of earning opportunity that I never imagine before I joined the forum.

The first time I came here to Bitcointalk, I thought it’s just another source for me to promote my SEO or article writing/blogging service but paid in Bitcoin, Ethereum or any other cryptocurrency. I started doing that in the middle of 2017 when Bitcoin was soaring high like crazy.

The project that I entered back then was just an e-sports blog, where I get paid for my contribution. After the project stopped, I looked beyond. I promoted a Twitter growth following service, but didn’t get any clients. After that, I am curious about signature campaigns. I could have joined early, but I was a low ranking member back then, so I am not qualified in joining those sig campaigns that are paying in Bitcoin.

Then I’m starting to invest small in various ICOs, hoping that they would rise in value after token sale. Months later, I was introduced to a local group where they made a lot of money in joining airdrops and bounty programs. At first, I didn’t have any clue about them. As they taught me everything, my eyes went shining and I went crazy in joining lots of airdrops and bounty programs.

And then, I started developing myself as a keynote speaker and becoming advisor, developmemt team member and ambassador in various projects. Through thick and thin, I learned. I made mistakes in the past regarding my decisions, but that’s just part of the process to make me grow and becoming a better person and a community member. I still have room to grow though.

They changed my life. They’re the reasons why my debts are paid, bought my first laptop (upgraded to Macbook and PC), afford to rent a condo unit for at least half a year contract, and traveling both local and international, etc. I would forever be grateful to these airdrops and bounty programs despite that they’re not gonna be the same today. I keep joining because I know that at least one or a few projects would bloom anytime. It’s like planting seeds and preparing for the big rain.

Signature campaign:
You can earn money weekly by participating in the signature campaign. However, most signature campaigns do not accept low rank profile. That's why you need to rank up your profile. If you want to rank up the profile, you have to earn merit.

Bounty campaign:
You can earn some money by participating in the bounty campaign. But for this you have to be very patient. Because after a bounty campaign for a certain period of time, the payment is too late and low. Some campaigns will not pay you. But for a low rank profile, bounty can be a good way to make money.

Even there are a lot of signature campaign still the job of the campaign manager is still choose the best member to join on this campaign, sometimes merit doesn't matter even not get the minimum of 5 merits just to join on some campaigns, because if they know you are a good and have a constructive post there is a chance they still accept you.

Contribution is the beginning of everything here. Contributions bring knowledge back to posters and contributions help them rank up higher which in turn help them have better opportunities to get acceptances and earn more money from campaigns.

Without contributions, shit posters are not welcome by forum community and the campaign managers won't want to hire such low quality users for their companies. It is a cycle of contribution-rankup-income.

Yes, you should first explore how the forum works, if you think you already have enough knowledge then go, join different campaigns or whatever you like. You can still earn while learning just make sure that all informations that you will provide are correct. Much better if you will rank up because it has a lot of great opportunities when joining campaigns.

These three are the best ways to earn some money here on our forum. Campaigns come and go, if you can't be in on a campaign, but you really wanted to, then you should do the work first.
Rank up. Post the most quality that you can.
Winning a contest will depend on how you witty you are and how you worked hard to beat other competitors.
And of course by offering your service. Just provide and show your best works then the offers will come.

I think joining a contest is a good idea if you're still in a low rank you cannot really join a signature campaign since most of the signature campaigns today required a high rank.

Joining contest most of the time have a low requirement as long as you have the skills you have a capability to win and most of the time it has a high prize.

Nowadays many people think this forum is a source of income, I don't know why they think like this. This is forum to discuss about bitcoin, not for work! If you want to get money, focus on 1 skills what you good or like... And apply on freelance site. Actually you can earn more money by that's job.

Bounty campaign is not worth it, only wasting your time with worthless coins, avoid it.

Keep in mind, signature campaign is only a bonus from your dedication to forum... similar like people give merit (bonus) on a high quality post.

Signature campaign is part of bounty campaign if you are good at doing something why not do it while getting paid,I don't think bounty campaign is now worthless if it is then why is it that many still participating in bounty campaign, it's still profitable, it's just finding the right project to join is the big issue.
