read through and drop some comments about your pick and your reason for your choice I did only a quick "scan". + You seem to be one of the few that don't have only the products that offer ref links + You seem to have in list cards I never heard of - You surely missed some - at least AdvCash - You didn't write about all the fees and also the hidden fees (like the buy/sell spread) - You didn't write about how clean is one or another (scam accusations here and there, at least) - You didn't make a big comparison table There's room for improvement, but it's not so bad either.

Thank you, I read through the post and I found detail information about the listed platforms. However, this is an old post which cannot be used to access the present services offered by this business. For instance, there is no information about Naga debit card on the business website https://naga.com/ which could mean they don't longer offer this service. Also, Bitwala card is not currently available for use in the market.

Monaco is now Crypto.com and they don't pay you in MCO but now CRO as they're seemingly getting rid of that coin. I'm not sure if you can class that card as a crpyto one though either as you top it up with fiat and spend it like a regular debit card. I'm not sure how all the others work, but Wirex one at least used to let you spend bitcoin directly buy maybe regulations have changed that now. Swipe are coming out with a similar card to MCO with similar reward offers like free Netflix and Spotify etc, but their cashback is going to be paid out in bitcoin which will probably appeal to a lot of users and is much better than getting paid in a shitcoin that one exchange controls most of the supply of: https://swipe.io/cards

Thanks for sharing. After the crypto wallet the use of crypto cards are necessary. Even these Crypto Cards are not available in many countries only in some where the commercial alliances have been more cooperative.
On Twitter I have seen somes crypto personalities who have mentioned the good experience of Monaco and BitPay cards. We are definitely witnessing the evolution of finance with crypto.

There are very few debit card startups who are actually working, there have been tons and tons of projects trying to do exactly this. Most of them failed casue of different reasons, some where scams others where rejected by VISA network. Also all the debit card who work with crypto are subject to heavy AML regualtions which can be irratating.

Interesting. I have been into telegram group wherein they are talking about this bitcoin credit card. Until I saw your post today and go back to their conversation and lost their convo. Had an urge to search about Monac credit card since it is available in Asia countries but seems not available in my country. But I saw another interesting bitcoin credit card that we can consider: - https://crypto.com/en/credit.htmlAnyone here try this one?

If you are going to be using Crypto credit card, then why don't you use your normal cards given by your bank instead? Sell your coins for fiat and transfer to bank. Less hassle to be honest. I remember getting a a physical bitpay card. I had to submit a lot of identification documents and then received it after few weeks. The fees were insane. They were at that time allowed to be used in some specific states. If you used it outside those states, they would consider your transaction as international transaction and had to pay even more fee than regular. And some POS machines straight rejected the cards. Had to use multiple to POS to see which one accepted. Not sure how if they have changed or not.

It's legit, but you're actually applying for a loan with collateral unlike other options that function more like a traditional debit card. I don't think it's for everyone, but if it works for you, then you're probably going to like it because there's not a lot of red tape involved. I actually agree. They're very inconvenient in jusrisdictions where they're heavily regulated.

In theory this sounds great, you can sell at better prices at the exchanges and the bank-issued cards use to work better. But... there are still plenty of banks that may not be happy to receive money from exchanges and this can go from asking questions to blocking your accounts (including the money you receive from your normal job). Bad. Also the money transfer from exchanges may take days and maybe you just want to sell Bitcoin as late as possible before spending it. So.. no, bank issued cards are not the best solution for money from crypto. Also keep in mind that Bitcoin card companies start striking deals directly with Visa/Mastercard (instead of using 3rd party institutions for issuing the cards) and this should make them more reliable.

Swipe Wallet($SXP) is the most promising crypto debit card since it was a DeFi and offers almost same benefits. Monaco (Crypto.com) has a bad history before that's why they rebrand to $CRO from $MCO to erase there past. Although bought of them is showing a good progress right now, Still Swipe has the upper hand because it is a decentralized and many big company are in partnership with them.

It seems that in my country the possible benefits will not change much, because the rules so far have not been clear for crypto recognition. much less have to step up to be more empowering. the state still chooses what is to be used to its full potential and has not yet been fulfilled, let alone be added with others. it takes time for the update to occur.

of all the cards that are on your list, the only one that works in my country is Wagecan, who now passed the responsibility for card management to LuxPin (plastic card) and Link Node (virtual card). I think that the people who live in Europe and the USA are the only ones who have reason to be happy in this issue of plastic cards Swipe Wallet($SXP) is the most promising crypto debit card since it was a DeFi and offers almost same benefits. but they are not sending cards to places that are different from the competition, so I think so far they have not done anything that is better than everyone else who is offering cards Monaco (Crypto.com) has a bad history before that's why they rebrand to $CRO from $MCO to erase there past. Although bought of them is showing a good progress right now, Still Swipe has the upper hand because it is a decentralized and many big company are in partnership with them. this is standard in the world of crytomoedas and the unbelievable is to see people have short memories and use these services

- You didn't write about all the fees and also the hidden fees (like the buy/sell spread)
Hihi, yeah, that's exactly what I thought when I searched for Wirex in that article: Wirex has adopted a flat rate fee for ATM withdrawals. Domestic ATM withdrawal is priced at $2.50 USD, while international ATM withdrawal is set at $3.50 USD. Although it's not really Wirex's fault people might get tricked and think that if they have ~100 $ and they withdraw that they will get 96.5, from the ATM, nope you won't, I've experienced that once and it won't happen again. But in Budapest, I said wtf, and went to an ATM, (operated by OTP) and choose to withdraw around 30 000 HUF ~ (95 euros). For 30000 HUF I was supposed to pay 112 Euros!!! and the ATM commission was 7.5 (or 7.7).
+ You seem to have in list cards I never heard of
Maybe because of this? NAGA or how their topic looks from page 100 I'm not sure how all the others work, but Wirex one at least used to let you spend bitcoin directly buy maybe regulations have changed that now.
You have to exchange to USD or EUR, and there is also an extra step of choosing how much you want to have on your card, just exchanging doesn't automatically put the fiat on your card balance. The rate is 11611$ right now, Bitstaps is at 11757 and add another 1% fee, it starts piling up.

Like others have said here, cryptocurrency debit cards have been around for some time now. I collect bitcoin "collectibles" and have collected some of the bitcoin /crypto debit cards of the past. While I've personally never used a bitcoin debit card, I have several buddies who don't even have traditional bank accounts and all they use are their bitcoin debit cards. I think they will only grow in popularity as time goes on.

Thanks for sharing.
But isn't it that Monaco (MCO) is the one that's being bought or migrated to Crypto.com? I didn't go through the whole update of this but that's what I've read a bit before.
With the emergence of crypto card, everyone will be interested of getting one soon. I didn't know that there are other cards which are included in the list because it's the first time of reading their names.

The only cryptocurrency card I have ever used is the MasterCard card that is being issued by BitPay. It’s really cool and I still have mine till now and I’m using it. I have heard about other cards as well, like the Wirex card, I have seen people talk about it a few times, although when I downloaded the Wirex app I think it’s something different, it’s kind of like a bank that functions digitally, but you can still send and receive cryptocurrency with it.
As for BitPay card, I am able to load it any time and use it to withdraw or make purchase, and when I use it in some stores, some people always asks what card it is.

with this crypto card it will make it easier to use crypto for useful things. we do not have to make transactions via the internet to use it. This step is a new breakthrough, and maybe a cryptocard like Visa, mastercard or amex can be used to transact globally
