Erik Ten Hag hasn’t won the EPL in the last two years. Manchester United cannot boast of being considered as contenders for the league title. When it comes to top contenders for the EPL title, just three teams comes to mind; Manchester City, Liverpool, and Arsenal. I would put these managers ahead of Erik Ten Hag any day and time.

ETH has won the FA Cup and Carabao Cup but that is not what the fans what. Those trophies are like a compensation for the shortcomings of the team, the bragging rights of an English club has to be winning the EPL or Champions league trophy.

Eric Ten Hag have tried his best to have one those two trophies during his time as the coach of the team so far. Every team needs trophy and it was because of the FA Cup that he won that made him to have a contract extension with the club. Without that, he would have been kicked out by now. I don’t see his bragging as something bad but he should try and win the major trophies too so that when he brags next time, no one dares to question him and would be scared to look him in the eye to question his speech. FA Cup and Carabao Cup are also worthy trophies to take, if it was that easy, those other teams that are major contenders in the league title should also try and win them as ETH did. Let him brag, he deserves to brag to feel himself on what he has achieved so far for the club.

Of course only Guardiola is better than Ten Hag because he's talking about the baldest manager in Premier League, obviously Ten Hag is the second since his head isn't that clean. But if we're talking about the best manager in Premier League, he might be in rank 10 or lower since he manage a high market value team, but he can't bring the team to become a champion or at least finish on top 4.

Ten Hag cannot be compared with Guardiola, in terms of baldness, Guardiola's head is cleaner and smoother than Ten Hag, in terms of ability to handle a team, Guardiola is much more experienced and accomplished with the club he handles. It is impossible to equate teachers with students, Ten Hag once served as Guardiola's assistant and he learned a lot from him.

Making comparisons of Pep Guardiola and Eric Ten Haag bald heads is very funny though and I don't think that the nature of their heads has anything to do with their individual experience but there can be no comparison between Pep and Ten Haag because Guardiola is technically and tactically equipped and knows how to handle any team he coaches that is why he has been a very successful coach in the clubs he had coached.

Ten Hag still needs to increase his knowledge in the field of coaching to manage the team well, Manchester United has several great and quality players, but he still failed to make Manchester United compete in the top four. Ten Hag is still lucky because he has the trust of Manchester United officials even though he failed to improve the club's performance. He must use the money prepared by the club to buy new players so that Manchester United's performance will improve much more than last season.

Different coaches have their individual coaching skills so as for Ten Haag, he should not even consider measuring up with Pep Guardiola in his coaching career because the achievements that Pep Guardiola has gotten, it will be difficult for Ten Haag to meet up such achievements even if he likes he should apply every strategy he knows yet Pep Guardiola will remain his Boss. Buying new players is not even what will make the team improve but a coach that wish his team to be in a good shape, the coach will have to apply some technical skills and makes sure he understands the right strategy to follow up that will work for that particular team.

What I can see for now is that Ten Hag way of training is not too bad and as evidenced by the trophies he presented to Manchester United and Ajax when he was still in the Eredivisie, it indicates that he is one of the coaches who is quite good in terms of technique and game method.

The only thing wrong with Ten Hag is the approach to building chemistry with players. If only he could change a good approach with players in order to build chemistry and communicate well then Ten Hag could be one of the coaches to be reckoned with.
He is indeed temperamental and authoritarian attitude that does not want to be denied by players which actually makes it a little difficult for him to build good chemistry which makes the performance in the team become stagnant in the end.

Yes Manchester United have definitely not been the club they use to me be since the departure of the legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson, so this doesn’t have anything to do with Erik Ten Hag alone. In the past two years that he is been year I think the first year on United perspective was a successful with the club going back to the elite competition which is the champions league and then the second season which was last season was definitely not the best of Seasons but he still manages to cough out a trophy. Going by this stats it is easy to say par Guardiola he has done better than other managers since his arrival into the club.

Many bettors will place Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool as the favorite teams to win next season, however, we must not simply ignore the potential that Man United has. Ten Hag future will be at stake if Man United again fails to get a ticket to the Champions League, I think the club top brass will no longer tolerate him. To compete for trophies, personally I am still a little doubtful about Man United, the depth of the squad built by Ten Hag is still less than the favorite teams, as are the reserve players he has.

On the other hand, Ten Hag deserves appreciation because he managed to present the FA Cup trophy, but this trophy is not enough and is not commensurate with the budget spent by Ten Hag in the transfer window. Next season, Ten Hag needs to change his strategy, as well as his approach to players. Overall, Ten Hag needs to ensure that the Man United dressing room is peaceful and full of ambition, before they fight to achieve glory like in the Ferguson era.

Internal crisis and lack of locker room management is just one small part of the problem, i think the bigger problem is that Ten Hag has not established a clear and obvious tactics for his team, when i watch United play, i really don't know what Ten Hag has told them to do, it is almost like they are just playing and hoping for a goal to come from anywhere. The manager has to work on it this season if they must challenge for the EPL title.

Haha mate, Ten Hag isn't that bad he has strategy and ability, it's just that sometimes it's not easy to make it perfect. Ten Hag once brought Manchester United to finish in 3rd place and that was his best achievement in the Premier League, We also have to admit that the competition in the Premier League is very tough this means that even though a club has great players and a great coach, it doesn't guarantee it can win the title and Chelsea is an example.
