Goalkeeper Mike Penders is leaving Genk for an adventure at Chelsea, Fabrizio Romano reports. The Belgian will become the seventh goalkeeper in Chelsea 's first team .

The nineteen-year-old goalkeeper is making the move to Genk for twenty million euros including bonuses. Chelsea sees a lot of potential in Penders and therefore the club is also offering him a long-term contract. The Belgian will stay with the Londoners until 2032. The young Penders will remain active for Genk next season, but after this year he will make the move to London. Penders still had a contract with Genk until 2028.

Chelsea are beginning to make me look like an not ready for this season, I will say they really make use of this transfer window more than any other English team, I am beginning to afraid for them if they didn't make any positive results this season

I don't get it what Chelsea management want this summer because their transfer behaviour is really confusing me and for the goalkeeper after Kepa Arrizabalaga return from his loan from Real Madrid so far they had 8 goalkeepers at their squad including Mike Penders so the question is who would be their main goalkeeper of next season because if i am not mistaken every premier league clubs usually only register 3 goalkeepers for their squad

In this case Chelsea have to sell at least 5 goalkeepers this summer because 8 goalkeeper in the same club is too much and for forward lines too Chelsea has 10 players which none of them who can able to performing well last season unless Jackson even some of them such as Armando Broja or Noni Madueke only mediocre player

I have post about this before because in Chelsea too many useless players in this team which Chelsea have to sell them immediatelly however Chelsea weaknesses is similar just like Arsenal because they have no sharp striker at their current squad but i was wondering why Chelsea buy goalkeeper instead of new striker especially they have money and can bought world class striker they want

I see nothing special in this game. We know the FA Cup is more prestigious than the Community Shield. I prefer to bet on a City win. United beat City in last season's FA Cup, but I'm not sure if City will play with their full squad. And losing in this game doesn't make one of these clubs a loser. 
United had a few new players. They have not yet integrated with their system. I take double chance as my safe zone to bet. Also, winning or losing doesn't matter in this game. I see it as a glorified friendly match between Manchester United and Manchester City.

In terms of prestige it doesn't carry much weight, but it's still a title + a derby + City are certainly pissed off that United beat them at the end of last season. I think both clubs will have enough motivation to not consider this game random, which means the favorite should win. The fact that on paper City is much stronger than United seems indisputable to me.

Guardiola is still the manager of Manchester City and it doesn't seem like they're willing to perform less than they did were in the last season. Meaning Guardiola will recruit more talented players. Another advantage for Manchester City right now is that they have a manager who's committed to his job and also ready to lead from the front line. He has already understood the club and it's management and knows how to manage them the best.

I think the performance of the two teams will determine how far they will go in the league next season but for the casecof Manchester United competing with Manchester City, it takes good players, good team work and a total brilliance from the tesm to be able to withstand a team like Manchester City who has been outstanding in their performance over the years winning the league back to back and still very good in performance with a great coach and full squad. Pep Guardiola has already started recruiting some players for the next season but even with his current players he would still be stronger contender in the league that's if they don't have injury crisis next season.

If they will bounce back to using thier full potential as a team will certainly involves a possible new coach that will come in to spark things all up if not relying on this coach with no serious noticeable signngs, Manchester United will still struggle this season.

Good quality managers may be offered from Manchester United and they will agree, I think the management should also think about this.

they need a good manager and the players also need to change their mentality and orientation on the field of play. Whenever Bruno Fernandez isn't on the pitch, the lapses is always too much and they have to learn how to play as a strong team with or without a key player. Now that kobi mainno has showed his strength at the Euros, I hope they will use him more and hopefully he should make a big difference in the Manchester United attack this season.

Maresca will not be last for a season. With Chelsea's current form, I doubt they'll finish in the top four. They sacked Pochettino, who delivered for the club, and what about Maresca? Terrible pre-season under him, and what's next?

Dominic Ayodele Solanke-Mitchell  has been very impressive in the last campaign of the EPL and making a move out from Bournemouth would be something to say he's making a positive step to greatness, that's if he leaves Bournemouth since he has been one of their key striker who got 19 goals in 38 games with 3 assist, to me he has been impressive and I expect more from him next season. Before the season begins I think if Dominic Solanke would be leaving the side between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal I think the Gunners should be a better place rather than going to Tottenham, we know the Spurs side are still looking for a striker to replace Kane but it hasn't been easy and Son has been trying to get things work out for the team but he needs an extra hand to make it work for Spurs. Which team is best for the man Dominic Solanke is it Arsenal or Tottenham? We know Arsenal are second best to get the league title than Tottenham, so is the Gunners the right team to give Solanke the EPL title?

Arsenal looks very confident ahead of the next season. Judging from the preseason games, they have all what it takes to be a winner and get to win a trophy next season. We will wait to see what they can pull up when the season starts.

You have a point but that does not make us come to a conclusion about them yet. The Manchester City team we have now are far better than Manchester United and I haven’t seen any performance from them even in the preseason to make me have a change of mind that they can stand at a competition to beat Manchester City now. While not seeing any change from them, I think we have to also note that until the season begins fully and we are able to analyse their individual team performance before we can come to a conclusion of what this teams will be by next season.
