Aston Villa, who finished fourth in the league the previous season, bought up to five players because they believed they could not continue with their current squad. Several clubs have increased the amount of players on their squad to improve their performance next season. Arsenal, on the other hand, has just signed one player, I'm not sure what they're waiting for before adding the players they need.

Some Premier League clubs have yet to sign players since the transfer market opened, with Liverpool being the only top team that has refused to do so. I think Liverpool is waiting until August to sign the players they want for next season. Arn Slot must do his best to bring new players and strengthen the club since I believe Liverpool needs a midfielder and a defender to improve their game.

I think after the Arsenal vs Liverpool preseason game, I can say that Arne Slot may well push Liverpool to the best level,I saw their pattern of play and how aggresive they are,and it seems like he will do something superb in the coming season.Although,they have not bought any player yet,but they have lots of players coming from injury,and they believe with those players,they can go in to Contend for the premier league once again as they did last season.
If they should sign a player,I think they might get like two players to add with the current squad they have.

I don't understand why Liverpool did something like this either. They finished the league in 3rd place last season, in fact if they made a few transfers they might have had a chance in the championship race. But I don't think they have much chance with the current squad. I knew they didn't have any financial problems. Maybe they have a few players they are negotiating with but we haven't heard. I don't think they will be idle during the transfer period

I'd agree with you on your observations because even the Coach of the Liverpool side, Arne Sorloth noticed the same thing. The Gunners were the better side and had every opportunity to turn the game around but for the absence of a good finisher, it only amounted to wasted chances. It just needed a calm and collected finish from Salah and Carvalho to cement their victory over Arsenal and when you look at it, it's enough to pity the Mikel Arteta led Arsenal because despite being pressurized, they didn't give up that hold they had.
 It may be a friendly game but it's enough to send a message to Arsenal that this new season won't be business as usual.

When Arne Slot joined Liverpool I was not expecting to see a good performance from this coach and I was thinking unlike Klopp, he couldn't be famous and get good results in this team because Slot started working in Liverpool while they wanted to keep working with Klopp.
They recently played against Arsenal and at the start of the game, Slot and his players had a perfect performance because they scored two goals against Arsenal. However, Arsenal scored one goal and made the game 2-1 but in the end Slot and his players won this friendly match and it was a motivational result for this coach.

Manchester United are still moving before the summer ends and reportedly De Ligt and Mazraoui have agreed to a 5-year contract. We know this is positive news after some time ago the management continued to approach tirelessly they will soon end this transfer.

De Ligt and Mazraoui are players needed by the current Red Devils squad and with the uncertainty of the injury storm that may still hit Manchester United, Erik ten Hag must get these two players so that last season he would not feel frustrated again with the lack of a squad. Now the decision remains in the hands of Bayern Munich whether to release these two players and Manchester United has received the green light from the player's agent.

Maybe Chelsea just listened to what Enzo Maresca said in buying some of these players in the transfer market this season in order to maximize the condition of the Chelsea team itself next season. Because who knows, the players that Chelsea have acquired could be better next season even though we judge them very mediocrely at this time with a level of influence that is not that big on the Chelsea team. But it is true that this season's transfer market is really not as fierce as the previous season due to the inactivity of some big teams who are targeting great players.

The Gunners were the better side and had every opportunity to turn the game around but for the absence of a good finisher, it only amounted to wasted chances. It just needed a calm and collected finish from Salah and Carvalho to cement their victory over Arsenal and when you look at it, it's enough to pity the Mikel Arteta led Arsenal because despite being pressurized, they didn't give up that hold they had.
 It may be a friendly game but it's enough to send a message to Arsenal that this new season won't be business as usual.

One of Manchester United's biggest problems of last season was the constant injuries the club's first team players suffered and that really affected their general performance of last season. Sadly, they've now lost two players to injuries before the start of next season again and that I think will be a huge blow to the club preparations for next season. I don't want to believe that it is the club manager's selections in the games that caused the injury because of we can remember, Leny Yoro recently signed for the club and needed to play in the preseason games in other to blend well with the team's style of play while Rasmus Hojlund enjoyed a long holiday and also needed to get back to full fitness by playing in the team's preseason games. Hopefully, the club manager finds a good tactical plan that'll help the team start the season on a good note till when the injured players returns back to full fitness

They had high hopes for Leny Yoro, but unfortunately, the young defender was hit by injury, so the big hole in Man United's defense line must be filled again, and Ten Hag must immediately resolve this problem. Yes, Erik ten Hag has made defensive reinforcements at Old Trafford a priority in the summer transfer window.  spent £52m on Leny Yoro but he was sidelined for three months with a foot injury in pre-season. As such, efforts to strengthen MU's defense need to be supplemented and accelerated. Arteta must have learnt from that game. The defensive positioning of his midfielders were totally off. I think it’s time for the manager to fix the defensive issues in the midfield. I have concerns with Thomas Partey's fitness ahead of the season. At some point, I asked if he was wearing metal boots because I noticed he lacked pace and struggled to cover spaces.

Anyone who watched him at the back end of last season would have observed that He has lost some pace & verve. I think he can come in some games but it's obviously past the time for him to be playing consistently.

This summer transfer market does look calmer, because most contestants have acted aggressively last season, so this time they only move according to the team needs and focus on the players that are already available. Meanwhile, Chelsea is also trying to polish the depth of its squad, following the wishes of new manager Enzo Maresca. In truth, Pochettino inheritance young players have started to develop better, so next season Chelsea should be able to appear more consistent and compete in the top four of the standings. I don't understand why Liverpool did something like this either. Have you watched the gameplay of Liverpool in the pre-season game against Arsenal? Though Liverpool used lots of its young talents, it showed an impressive performance. It's unnecessary to buy a new player. There's no guarantee they will improve your squad's depth. I see Arne Slot as someone who is analyzing the situation. He is not someone who rushes without observing first.

I know it's frustrating to see Liverpool quiet in the transfer window. But I think Slot knows more than us. But if Liverpool wants to sign a new player, then I hoped Liverpool would sign a new DM. Regardless of the transfer market situation this season I am not too surprised because every team is indeed in a dilemma between inadequate finances, poor management and the risk of undergoing an inadequate transition when the League starts.

On the other hand when talking about Chelsea situation with the hunt for players then in my opinion The Blues are slightly better than the Man United club which so far can be seen more clearly that there is no positive impact. Maybe in the Premier League later we will not see Man United in the top 4 positions of the standings. Chelsea had a pretty good preseason, even though they faced an American Club but in terms of play Enzo Maresca managed to implement an effective and attractive strategy. On August 4, Chelsea will face Man City and this match is quite important to measure how far Enzo Maresca has succeeded in evaluating the game implemented by Pep Guardiola.

I think the previous and current transfer markets are not much different, but it's just that perhaps some clubs are currently experiencing a financial crisis after several teams released many players for free so there really no money coming in for these clubs to spend on new players, apart from that, it's also possible that there are  new financial regulations English league is currently making English league clubs a little more careful in spending money to strengthen their teams, some teams currently look very slow in the transfer market and this is different from Chelsea which continues to bring in lots of new players, Chelsea finances very stable because I see that their expenditure and income in the current transfer market is only different -200 million euros, Chelsea, which is currently owned by Todd Boehly, seems very ambitious to build a Chelsea squad with young players, especially in the transfer market last season, they released many players with permanent or loan which means they have got a lot of money to spend at the moment, if we talk about other teams, it seems like teams like Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City will be more dominant in maintaining their squad last season which looks quite good so they will try to save money now.

Arteta must try to fix the front line especially for the striker position and in the match that ended in defeat for them, it was seen because the finishing was still inconsistent.  After the game, Arteta was heard saying that the team will do their best to ensure that the hiccup will be fixed and I'm here wondering if he'd actually go for a striker because to me that is the only hiccup they are facing right now.
 For a very long time, Arsenal has had the issue of actually signing players they actually need, rather they prefer going for the ones they have aplenty and instead managing with the not so good ones. If Arsenal can focus on a good striker, splash funds on him, I believe big teams will begin to take them seriously.

They definitely needs a striker, Gabriel Jesus isn't doing much on the finishing for them or maybe Jesus can be coming from sideways to assist the striker, because looking from the current standpoint they need a standing top 9 like victor osimhen to help them. If you look at the Manchester city team, you will see that Haaland is a standing 9, who easily scores the tap in, he does little or no other job apart from that, so Arteta needs to look for a permanent fix on that, because That's the major hiccup the arsenal team has now, their central midfield and  their defence is solid.

Chelsea itself is not dreaming of being in the top four of the league table this coming season talk more of others. For someone to think Chelsea would finish in the top four with their recent condition is a fantasy. By the way, I see Conor Gallagher as average player as well but for Chelsea to allow the youngster to leave is the greatest mistake they would make this season and it would definitely affect them. Everything they are doing now is to maintain their position in the mid table and not get relegated.

Chelsea itself is not dreaming of being in the top four of the league table this coming season talk more of others. For someone to think Chelsea would finish in the top four with their recent condition is a fantasy. By the way, I see Conor Gallagher as average player as well but for Chelsea to allow the youngster to leave is the greatest mistake they would make this season and it would definitely affect them. Everything they are doing now is to maintain their position in the mid table and not get relegated.

After all, Chelsea also has a new coach and of course every time they have a new coach the team will experience changes. Thus, even though Chelsea sold senior players in their squad so far, I think the results could be good or bad for the performance and results that Chelsea will get next season. But at least,  any result can still happen and we also can't predict the exact result, because maybe Enzo Maresca will really succeed in making Chelsea compete in the top four, who knows.
