They must try to fix their problem. They have lost their identity, which always focuses on intensity. They sign nobody in the summer and expect them to use pretty similar gameplay like they did last season. Their opponent can read their gameplay easily.

Currently Everton isn't doing any better and no doubts they need that new coach who will help them get out of this mess as they currently appear relegation prone because they are at the bottom of the table having just one team behind them. I believe the result Manchester City saw on that match day wasn't what they were expecting. And that is the reason why most of their players on social media are making claims that Arsenal is involved in dark arts. This is a serious claim if they have evidence it's best, they present it to the football association. I don't see anything of dark arts in Arteta and his players.
