The Portuguese manager however admitted that club is in a very difficult situation at the moment but is very optimistic that they'll bounce back to winning ways as well as become of the most formidable English clubs. Considering the performance and inconsistency of Manchester United in the last decade, I think the timeframe Ruben Amorim wants to achieve his plans is bit short. Do you think he can actualize that before or by 2028? Let me read your thoughts

2028 is insanely ambitious considering the absolute mess this club has been in for over a decade. Amorim expects United to be a title-winning machine in four years, when the team can hardly run four decent games together. That is delusional. This team is an absolute mess. Overpaid, underperforming, prone to injuries, mentally weak. Who the hell wants to buy Antony for £85m? They cannot even properly sell players. Rashford's stock has fallen while they are about to lose £48m on Sancho

And no Champions League = no top-tier signings. The top players refuse to participate on a team lacking clear direction. Right now, Aston Villa has more transfer market pull than United. United must burn it all down and rebuild cleverly, as Liverpool did under Klopp. Though that's exactly what's destroying them, Amorim is entering a club that still believes big spending = success. Indeed, MAYBE he can compete in 4-5 years if INEOS gives him complete control and they start signing young, eager athletes instead of overpriced "stars." I'd rather take BTTS in this game. I have some reasons why Chelsea may not win it. The odds is so damn high as a club being favored to win away game, they also missed Jackson, which is affecting their forwards. I avoid to bet on them, though there is a double chance, but the odds is way very very small.

The match has started and I see Brighton using a 5-4-1 formation and Chelsea 4-2-3-1. And that means Brighton prioritizes a defensive strategy. While Chelsea also seems to not want to concede in this match. In the early minutes, Chelsea has tried to attack but failed and this is one of the beliefs that Chelsea can possibly win with a narrow score. But if it is difficult to score, Chelsea is also trying to hold a draw. In the 18th minute, Chelsea still dominates possession and if Chelsea can put a little pressure, I am sure Chelsea can score earlier. And choosing BTTS (Yes) will likely be a little difficult.

Chelsea is losing by a lone goal already and i sense that what happened in the FA Cup match last week between them and Brighton will repeat this night because Brighton is using a defensive strategy but yet their attack is so strong and strategic so it means more danger for Chelsea. Chelsea's defense is their major problem and Enzo Maresca need to awaken the defenders because their shortcomings is becoming too much and unbearable. Chelsea is dominating the game but what we need is goals and not ball possession because if they are not able to equalize before halftime it will be set back for them when they return from first half break.

Not an exciting first half for Chelsea, way at which the game is heading I doubt to see a significant output from Maresca and his team, will be very shameful if this fixture  ending with Brighton as the winner, the best Chelsea can do is performing better in the second half drawing the score to a 2:2 result.

Not confident on the 2:2 outcome but I dared to risk little of my funds for a draw fixture at the final whistle, a 6 odd win on my staked amount if play accordingly.

If not for the few defensive mistakes that Manchester City made, it would have been a good game for them. They took the lead twice but two defensive errors made them lose that game. City fans should have known that Vinicius Junior is the current best player in the world. He is highly skilful and could be a terror to defenders.  And if the fans try to intimate him, he knows how to shut them up. He will increase his threat to the defence until some of the fans get heart attack. Real Madrid will miss Carlo Ancelloti when he leaves at the end of the season because he's a master of coaching tactics.

What I didn't like was Rodri going around with the Ballon d'Or. I see it as an act of provocation For me, he never deserved the Ballon d'Or. For me, he's a player who is at a very low level Compared to players like Vini and the others. Sometimes I think they gave him the Ballon d'Or out of pity, because it's very easy for him to be left lying on the ground when Vino or anyone else Dribbles past him. So for me, he shouldn't have shown it off. That really pissed off Vini and all the Madrid players. I think it's a very inappropriate act. Sometimes a team deserves to be given a beating for how it's been, even though football isn't about merit, but about who scores the goals.

 The way things are going and if the scoreline ends like this Brighton will have managed to ruin Chelsea's dreams of achieving anything serious in the space of a week or less. Last time this sides met, Brighton booted Chelsea out of the FA competition and now, they want to increase Chelsea's winless streak to six.
Earlier on, Enzo Maresca announced that Sanchez will not be his first choice keeper and Jorgensen will be the replacement because the Spanish keeper has been making a lot of errors and I wonder who in that team has not been making mistakes? Their key striker, Jackson has been under a lot of criticisms for his loads of mistakes yet he doesn't get changed and if not for the so-called injury he has, I dont think Christopher Nkunku would have been granted this opportunity.
 Let's see if Chelsea can get back on track and win this game or Brighton can still hold on to their lead and possibly add more goals. Let's see whether if Brighton ends up winning the match if Enzo Maresca will take the blame or not.

Enzo Maresca is tearing the house apart, I see no reason why the manager would take a quick action on Sanchez and making Jörgensen the first choice. The goal stopper hasn't been as good as he was last season but I don't think is proper to drop him as the first choice because of the errors he has been making since the beginning of this very campaign is different from that of Jackson. Having a player as Jackson who has not tried his best to change from missing clear chances as his number 1 striker ahead of other good players in the squad like Nkunku and Marc Guiu is something I don't understand, to me I feel is a disrespect for dropping Sanchez and keeping Jackson who has been making more mistakes than Sanchez, what do you make of that decision by Maresca?

Why don't you give Jorgensen a try? He deserves a chance, though his quality is a bit under. Sanchez.

In fact, Sanchez made too many mistakes in the previous games. I know he's better in building from the back, but it's dilemma to pick which is better between him and Sanchez.

Jackson out and Sanchez as well. There will be no those guys to play against Brighton. Why're you feeling worried?

It's Chelsea's mistake caused by they didn't sign a quality goalie.

I don't have any problem with the new 1st choice goalkeeper but these things are something you take time and not announcing it out in the open, something like a switch or should I say rotation of players with time we the fans will get use to it. Sanchez made lots of mistakes especially building from the back and Chelsea are not even good at it and if the goalkeeper is poor in that aspect you stop and play the ball out instead of making everybody including your opponent know that the keeper is not good at building from the back, is not cool at least he has been doing well before this season.
Come on brother, if Sanchez wasn't good or not a quality goalkeeper they won't have bought him from Brighton and they won't have made him number 1 goalkeeper when they have Kepa, think about it and I won't say Chelsea don't have a quality goalkeeper, they do.

Me too, both team to score seems like a very probable outcome in this match since it is very difficult to predict a. Winner. Chelsea is suffering from injuries and it’s weighing them down currently because their performance have dropped in recent games and facing Brighton away from home will be challenging. They miss a few players and it has weakened the attacking force but I still trust both teams to score a goal.

What do you think, does it matter in this angle? The board selects their winner knowing fully well how these odds comes higher in tension. Real Madrid and Manchester City had everything to dominate the league, they're the main team eligible to win major titles and coming in better for good shapes. Everyone made their choice when it comes to Ballon d'Or. We all feels special about our nominated favorite and expect them to win, some won and some was not selected. Rodri was nominated alongside Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham. These were the main candidates to win but looking at the very edge, one could simply noticed the divergence of this whole space.

Real Madrid president, Florentino Pérez was upset with whole situation, he couldn't condole this acts and he immediately portrayed his ignorance and power, stopping all his team members from attending. Real Madrid key frontline, Vinicius Jr was main candidate and he was undoubtedly to be winner of the Ballon d'Or but his rival beats him to win it. Playing well and dominating the game alone will not make Chelsea win this match. Brighton was 2-0 up in the first half, they also scored another 3rd goal in the second half. However, Chelsea is increasingly frustrated with what is happening on the pitch. They looked increasingly tired and perhaps about to give up, but the game was still going on until the final whistle blew. Yankuba Minteh scored his second goal in this match, which made Enzo Maresca angry.

honestly  I am reading from the very same book as you. man united to win the Premier League by 2028? That is just something out of a sci-fi movie with how they look now! take their financial chaos. 300 million lost in three years? that is not a hiccup, it is a full blown crisis. They’re closing off every faucet they can ,letting employees go , lowering salaries for players. And you feel like you’re just lost in the dark.

now for the squad, sure they brought in yoro and de ligt, but let’s not act like that solved everything. As paul Scholes himself said, they need seven new signings to be come back. Seven! That is like rebuilding half the squad. Their center defense remains full of holes, more than swiss cheese, and the attack is as disjointed as ever.

but the real kicker? The money drama. They still owe the other clubs a transfer debts for 319 £ million, 154 m £ of which is due this year alone. how are they supposed to purchase new players with such a scenario looming over them? Nothing is wrong with Chelsea is just football and they are losing, there are 3 things in football win, draw, loss is either you go with one of this and Chelsea is going with the loss option tonight there are also games that they go with the winning option or the draw option.
Nothing should surprised you in football again even if Chelsea lost 5 in a row is not a new thing in football or even if Brighton wins them with high goal margin is never a new thing.

Of a true Chelsea has drop form unlike when the league started, but now there poor performance still continue I think they have already missed out in the top 4 race.

Yes I have seen that as well but my luck was that I didn't give Chelsea to win instead my bet was over 0.75 for the first half which I had already secured winning because for first half Brighton already had 2 goals, so I didn't have anything to worry much about Chelsea. I am already disappointed at Chelsea for their low performance I don't know why they are too reluctant over their performance and now is already 86 minutes.

From the number of matches that are still quite a lot for all teams in the Premier League, of course Arsenal's chances of being able to catch up with Liverpool's points are still very open even though Arsenal must hope that Liverpool can make more mistakes in their important matches so that Liverpool does not get full points in the next few matches. Because catching up with the strongest team like Liverpool in the Premier League is not easy for Arsenal even though the distance is only seven points, but there is certainly still hope for Arsenal, especially with the return of Bokayo Saka to Arsenal's front line.
 

I think the chances are small because even though there are still quite a lot of matches, Arsenal often experiences a decline in performance entering the end of the season so that catching up with Liverpool's points will be much more difficult. If Liverpool make mistakes or lose in the next few matches, will Arsenal be able to win all the remaining matches? This also cannot be guaranteed so that Liverpool's chances of getting the trophy are still quite large.

Seriously. I’m still laughing at people who think Arsenal will win the Premier League trophy this season. We have seen many seasons where Arsenal goes to their best performance and still fails at the end of the season, and that is why even this season I didn’t see any sign that they will get the trophy. Moreover, Liverpool is not showing any sign of weakness in this competition at the moment, so Liverpool still has the highest chance to win the Premier League title this season.

As you said, Arsenal is already known for declining in performance at the end of the season, and I’m still expecting that this season.
