Before he came, Man United was in a slump, but what made them unable to rise was that Man United did not have many funds left, so Amorim did not have many options in the January transfer market. Amorim has a strategy that is completely different from Man United before and unfortunately, there are not many Man United players who can contribute to the new system. Therefore Man United needs new players, but they don't have the funds for that at the moment.

A good option would be to give up the Premier League this season (as long as they don't suffer relegation) and only focus on the Europa League or FA Cup. That would probably be the worst performance in the Premier League, but it is the only way Man United has a chance of winning a trophy this season.

Exactly the point mate, am begining to agree with you on this, it was like a trap for amorim and as it stands now he looks helpless and confused,  everything seems to be in a very bad shape, it take while lot of time to rebuild a team like Manchester United that was in a much lapses before hiring a new manager, I just feel for amorim though it look like the management understands the situation at hand and are ready to give him time atleast till next season.

Personally, I think the absence of Amad Diallo in Manchester United game at Tottenham Hotspur today limit Manchester United's chances of winning the game and that's because the club at the moment lacks players who can operate from the right wing and create chances like Amad Diallo does when he's fit.
