Enzo Maresca really needs to revamp the strategy he’s using for this team, particularly in preparation for their first Premier League match, which is just a week away. Losing the Community Shield might not be a big deal, but if Man City fails in their first Premier League match, it could be a major blow to the team and ultimately undermine the players’ confidence.

Season has not start yet so it will be wrong to make conclusion now, you don't expect a team that has been used to a particular coach to easily adapt to someone that just came new to the team that has not even stayed for long. Although he is suppose to have a good display as his first time instead of losing and it will be a disgrace to him if he doesn't draw or win.

Unfortunately, Man City still hasn’t managed to address the gaps in their defense; they’ve tried to cover them up but haven’t been consistent, which ultimately allowed Arsenal to score their third goal.



In this match, I’m hoping Man City can score as well, so that both teams score. But it looks like Arsenal’s defense is still as strong as ever. Arteta has really done a great job of maintaining Arsenal’s strength.

You’re absolutely right, Arsenal beating Manchester City comfortably in the FA Community Shield is something that really gets me worried about Manchester City, they seems like a team that is going to struggle without Pep Guardiola, if Arsenal takes this performance to the Premier League I’m seeing them winning the Premier League again, the transfer market is still open for Manchester City to sign some players, they are very much interested in signing new midfielders, because of Rodris links with Barcelona.

I can agree with you, I had earlier said that Manchester City's success, majority of it is tied with Pep, their record both in England and Europe elevated after he came in as the coach and that's fact. Manchester City to me won't be a title contender as they used to be under Pep, Manchester City will gradually go back to default settings if they don't get a suitable coach that will continue holding up the torch and most of the acclaimed fans will soon run to their real clubs after they don't get what they used to get from the club. It's not because they lost to Arsenal today, but their has been signs that Manchester City's success was mainly tied to the coach and 2 seasons ago and last season, when he lost his touch due to family issues, it showed on the teams general performance. Let's see how they will this season though but I'm not expecting much from them.

I don't have any negative thought about their defeat, because I still consider this match to be a pre-season match which I don't think it is that very serious. I will still consider them to be in a very good shape until I saw the absence of pep Guardiola when the league starts, Manchester City manager and players will you use this match as a case study to figure out a lot of things that are lacking on the squad and how to fix them. Pep Guardiola has left but I still believe that he will still be working underground just to see them succeed, he has built a very wonderful team which will succeed even when he has gone.

Honestly speaking, the performance of Arsenal is quite good, yet, the outcome of one warm up game does not necessarily weaken the power of Citizens. Pep Guardiola has emerged to be able to reinvent the stability of the team. There is nothing that can be called actual conversations that could be behind the rumors of Rodri transferring to Spain. Can we say Maresca is not good enough or it jus didn’t go their way today. Well Manchester city fans have been spoilt with that constant winning of trophies pep brought to the club, now it time for them to face reality. After watching them today, it going to be a very long season for them, and to get a premier league trophy this season will be difficult.

Manchester City wasn't able to find their bearing till the end of the game. It was an easy win for Arsenal today as they proved to City that they're the defending champions. From my observation today, it seems that Arteta will always triumph over City whenever, they clash since Pep is no longer the coach.

Rashford has move on and he is ready to play with Manchester united, Carrick has admitted to this that he is going to remained with the team and he is one of the key player he is working with. He is getting a place ahead of other players so he doesn't change his mind. As for his previous loaned Barcelona, they have moved on, they have signed another player that will replace him. They are not even in need of winter now, they need a striker.

Apparently, Manchester City lost to Arsenal today, I feel ashame because there is no way Arsenal is going to play Manchester City and Guardiola is going to let them walk away with the community shield without any goal but this one is total failure. I would like to mention Chelsea who started last season by winning the FIFA Club World Cup against PSG. But they have been the worst performers throughout the season. So it is not how they start the season that matters, but how well they finish the season.

I am not saying that Arsenal are going to do badly in the main stage of the season, but a team should not be judged by the start of the season. Arsenal are a strong team and they have the ability to win the championship again. But it is still difficult to say how they will play in the main stage.

Manchester City have not yet found a stable environment, this was the first match for their new manager. Maybe with time Enzo Maresca will adapt to the team and create a stable environment at City. People and football fans can hate all they like but Mikel Arteta is simply ready to dominate the Premier league competition for the next three seasons. This Manchester City I'm seeing looked more like the old Manchester city before Pep Guardiola and they will not be consistent with what we have just seen. Nothing is more satisfying than what transpired during this game, and I am thrilled that Arsenal prevailed. The city was unable to score a single goal, and Arsenal's three-goal victory is just absurd. I did not anticipate it happening this way, but it did, and it shows that we are very promising this season, which is exactly how it is supposed to be. The dominance was just absurd.

And I liked how things went because, if it weren't for that, it would be crazy because Manchester City supporters would still believe that they are helping us. If Manchester City can play this way, they have nothing to offer this season because the entire team was unable to score a goal. I'm shocked, but since we will be able to win something this season, we finally expect things to get delicious when the season begins.
