I personally do expect a good performance from Arsenal, but I agree on pointing out the fact that he is bragging about Arsenal for winning a team from the championship, it's too much conclusions for just this win, some fans can be too excited sometimes.

But without being sentimental talking about being disappointed at Arsenal at mid season is something I will not totally support on, it's still the same Arteta, still the same team, still the same strong defense and so on, so mid season I so expect to see them among the top 5 or even top 3, and that wouldn't be a disappointing position for mid season.

I approve of the Arsenal fans happiness over their win against an incompetent team, not for the weaknesses of Arteta's opponents, but the strength found in his attacking Strategies. Arteta has Enabled his midfielders to always push into the front spaces which gave arsenal a dynamic performance today. You could see that Odegaard, and Rice consistently came from the midfield to assist Saka in his attacking roles, while maintaining a distinction in falling back to their own box to defend. I presume Arsenal is the only premier league club to make a box to box playing pattern work out this easy, big clubs will definitely run out of patience playing Arsenal's current strategies.

If this is coming from the position of a rival fan who is actually bantering Arsenal then I will understand that it’s actually is a banter. But from a pure football analysis then it’s certainly a bad analysis because let’s be realistic Arsenal is currently the best team in the league and still to me the most balanced team in the league at the moment, if you ask whether they will actually win the league I will say on paper they are the favorite to win it but that doesn’t guarantee anything because this is the premier league and it’s some how competitive.

As for there players getting injured, it’s really funny because tell me which team or club that it’s players can never be injured, at least Arsenal have very good back up for the first team players unlike most of the clubs that do not much depth in their squad and this gives Arsenal a good edge against most of this clubs for the league title

Timber, Saliba and Bruno G are injured, and there is Ben White, Mosquera and Rice to play, even if White, Mosquera and Rice get injured, there are still other options they have to play, they have the best team in the league and so far look very far ahead of other teams. Other teams in the Premier League will have to do a very difficult job of trying to match this Arsenal side to be able to steal the title away from their hand.

Yeah. Even though we are just starting the season, the performance shown today is enough to say Arsenal is good to go this season. I don't even know how their wlll be if they meet with any big clubs, one is for sure Arteta is fully ready for this season competition and he will definitely make sure everything is well plan. Because Manchester United also ready for this season and Carrick will do everything to make sure they continue the good performancs they ended the seasom.

One other player who impressed me today was Cristhian Mosquera. He looked composed alongside Gabriel, and I liked how comfortable he seemed in the role. He still has plenty to learn, but for me, there were enough positive signs to suggest Arsenal have another exciting defender on their hands.

I particularly liked the pairing with Gabriel. There seemed to be a good understanding between them, with Gabriel's experience complementing Mosquera's energy and composure. For me, this partnership could grow into something really solid as they get more minutes together.

Another exciting thing is that Mosquera is coming into a squad where competition for defensive places is extremely high. With quality defenders around him, he will be pushed every day to improve, learn and raise his standards. I believe that kind of competition can only make him better.

For me, Mosquera doesn't need to become the finished product overnight. He just needs the right environment to develop, and Arsenal seem to be giving him exactly that. If he continues learning from players like Gabriel while competing with the other defenders, I genuinely believe he can grow into a great defender in the future.

Especially when you look at players like Havertz, Saka, Odegaard and the midfield combination, it seems that Arteta has prepared the team better than before.But just because they won the first match, it is not a good argument to say that they can stop Arsenal now. You know that the Premier League is not a competition of one match that you can come to such a decision just because you won the first match. The Premier League has 38 match consistency, injuries, results against big teams and many other things, all of which combine to determine the champion. So I would never say that just because they won the first match, no one can stop Arsenal.

I was surprised seeing that Martin Ødegaard is the one who won Man of the Match against Coventry City.

For sure, I think Christos Tzolis deserved it.

The way he performed in this game, without doubt, I thought he was going to get it, even though he never scored.

But his impact in this game was incredible.

Without doubt, the way he used his time very well. He played just 77 minutes, but he performed everything like a new signing could do on the pitch.

A lot of hype for the champions playing against recently promoted side?

I recognize Arsenal's victory and that's how champions launch a new season, however the game is still too young to judge. Arsenal always starts well, but maintaining consistency to the end is where the real problem lies. Last season, the narrowly missed ending in the second position, I hope Arterta has found a way to maintain his players performing optimally until the end.

Every team has the potentials to start well, let's see how it all goes by mid season.

i think havertz is going to be a huge asset for arsenal this season. my very fanatical friends are so excited for his return and love him so much that i can’t even describe it. if you ask me, he’s better than gyökeres. he scores goals much more easily while gyökeres can barely even find the net.

Honestly, I'm a bit skeptical about him. Being a Chelsea fan, I know how many horrible misses he had during his time in Chelsea, so I'm not that confident in him. I still believe that Gabriel Jesus is there best top 9 for now, I don't even know why they want to sell him.

Coventry FC just got promoted - I know newly promoted teams always do have a fighting spirit - they don't stand a chance against the top teams. Unless after a season or two, maintaining there stay in the first league, buying some players and improving the squad, they won't stand a chance against top teams.

I won't disagree that Arsenal can defend the Premier League because any team can win it but using Arsenal's performance against the promoted Coventry that's not even a match for Arsenal to believe no one will stop Arsenal just because they thrashed Coventry 3-0 in the opening match if the Premier League shows that you have been carried away by Arsenal's performance against Coventry, from your comment it seems you are new in following the Premier League that's why it was so easily for you to believe Arsenal will win the Premier League after playing just one match, what I can tell you is to take a chill pill, relax, and watch how the battle for the Premier League title will unfold when we get to matchday 18 and Arsenal is at the top of the Premier League table then you are free to say Arsenal will win the title and no one will stop them but right now it's pretty too early for you to say Arsenal will win the Premier League when you haven't seen other teams play.

It's just too early to be concluding on anything mate. Truly arsenal did show strength and discipline in dispatching Coventry city easily and since they are the defending champions, they will be taken as the favourite for the league title this season, especially now that all other top teams have new managers that will need time adjust, but we have not seen other top teams yet to start making conclusion, and as a matter of fact, coventry City that they met is very inferior in quality to a regular English premier league side, so I am not surprised that arsenal wasn't really tested as they should have. So what am trying to say is that, it's just too early to be making conclusion even though their victory was really impressive last night.

A good start for Arsenal, the match turned out to be straightforward. We saw two identical halves, with Arsenal completely dominating both. And the match ended with the exact same scoreline as the Super Cup game against City, 3-0. I don't think anyone expected a miracle from Coventry, but I thought they would put up a bit more resistance, as it turned out they only managed to apply some pressure right at the start of the match before switching entirely to a defensive game. So Arsenal has started the season well, I think they’ll be able to establish themselves at the top of the table after just the first few rounds.

3 fucking nil, that's an excellent performance from arsenal, those guys are in for real business. After a long time of being premier league champions, me I know that as they has tasted it last season they will not want to let it go that easy. And that zeal to do better than last time is why they will how cups and trophy is winned , and if Arsenal can just continue this way then the sky is their limit.

Coventry might have been a underdog club, but this isn't the first time we have seen underdog team beating high ranking team, but arsenal didn't allow that to happen, especially not on Arteta's watch
