New season but it's old shitty Manchester United. Lost on their home ground lol. This defender Maguire cost them 83million lol. How they bought it? Because of English Media hype.

Thank god didn't put any money on them.

Nothing will change until they get a proper manager in with a track record of being successful, winning trophies. How the hell Solksjaer got the job, I don’t know. He is nowhere near qualified enough to get that position. Man Utd won’t be getting anywhere near the title for a good few years.

He was their short-term solution and managed to get great initial results. They rewarded him with a 3-year contract after that and now they are paying for his inexperience.

But, to be honest, I think Solskjaer is not the problem. He's not a manager for United, but he's managing well with what he's got. Woodward is the big problem there and I'm fascinated that he's still keeping his position.

People has been criticizing Woodward for years but he still keeps his position. To be honest, Im not even shocked with the result today. It feels this is kinda classic Manchester United's game where they flop against team like crystal palace in their first game of the season . Crystal Palace now 'seems' like a solid team after getting 2 wins in a row lol !

Meanwhile Arsenal won the game, all today's game ended with favourites to win the game except for Manchester United

Manchester United have been beaten by 3 goals to 1 at Old Trafford. lol
Their old boy Zaha Managed to bag 2 goals against them. Honestly Man United to do more recruitment especially at the defense if they really want to contend for the title. Their back line is in shambles.

It's not obvious, Manchester United don't do so well when it is expected of them. Always having a hard time with small teams and that's why, they are not my choice in placing a bet.

I agree with you. The market should be closed before the season starts. Changing players after the season has already started always causes unrest in the clubs concerned. Of course, there should be exceptions like in the current Corona phase where seasons start very differently in leagues.

We surely did talk and for a fact, I don't see them within the top four position on the league table. Manchester United team has got a lot of work on the orientation of it's team. It might seem unusual but, a necessity. A lot is been done to keep up the spirit of sportsmanship amongst fans. Imagine big leagues playing without selling viewing tickets. What a loss! But then, the fans have got to be entertained and the games is got to get going.
The season is already unusual with the way it starts, no breaks and all that so, unusual adjustment is a necessity.

@arallmuus I knew we were going to loose this game badly the moment I saw the team sheet, because he played two fringe player’s (Fosu-Mensah and James) instead of starting Greenwood and Van De Beek or Matic. Also in my opinion Solskjaer has surrendered to the board, and he only keeps saying things to keep them in good light, but if Sancho and a defender yet comes then this season can yet be saved.

I am most excited about Chelsea - Liverpool. As I already mentioned earlier, pretty sure we will see a lot of goals in that match. Both teams to score is a good call, condsidering the powerful offensive on both sides. A bet on over 2.5 or maybe even over 3.5 could also be an option. Liverpools defense looks a bit shaky since quite some time now (they haven't kept a clean sheet since the 34th matchday last season).

I had no idea they paid that much for him. He's bang average in my opinion. I also have no idea how he became their captain but that just goes to show you what sort of team they are these days.

For unknown reasons there are targeted criticism at Maguire, is it his cost as a defender? or pure hatred vibes?
The entire Manchester united team were total shambles from start to finish. Fosu-mensah was no where to be found for the first goal, while Shaw left his marker with over 4 yards of space; meanwhile Lindelof was guilty for all 3 goals, for the first and third goal, he was bungled out of a tackle he should have won two times, and got unfortunate with a ball to hand situation.

I just don't think he's that good, but Man U aren't great right now either. He didn't even make the current England squad which says a lot.

The transfer market? It's always open at the start of the season as far as I'm aware. Personally I think it should close before the league starts. Teams shouldn't be having new players come in during it in my opinion.

my goodness,, Southampton playing with a highline against Spurs, just why? they conceded a goal in the 1st half because of this, cuz the opponent exploited this weakness, and Southampton still haven't made a change, even after conceding 4 goals make it 5  

i actually pointed this out last week (them playing high up the pitch), it's one thing to do it vs. Palace, but it's different against Tottenham and their world class players. they better change things up for the upcoming games, they honestly don't know what they're doing in the backline

In Premier League probably, here in Italy we usually have 1 week while the market is open and the season is started.

Last year we got 0 weeks, this year since we have the COVID situation 3.
Usually, Serie A will start in late September since is very hot here while in England they have a median of 10-15 °C less.
